Second time staying at Serawa. Staff were extremely helpful and the room had no faults. Will return again.

Arriving at the hotel was not great. We’d booked the top floor terrace suite. But / no one had checked the air con and yes, of course, it was broken. The temperature inside the room was 39 degrees !!! It was unbearable. However….. The wonderful receptionist tried to fix everything. She reset the unit. She reset the entire floor. She reset two floors !!! But nothing worked. So she offered us a new room. Which we took and cooled down fine. When we got back from dinner there was a nice bottle of wine waiting. And the room was cool. Things break. Problems happen. But it’s what you do to fix them is what matters. This hotel did plenty - good job.

On the plus side - great location, lovely lobby design, wonderful staff and great breakfast. Unfortunately the fist impression was not lasting. We spent two night in the Eco Mediterranean Suite which felt like a shoe box. The bathroom shower was lined with mold - a bit too organic for us! While the staff immediately addressed this problem after our complaint, it should have never been left in this condition. The show needs replacement as it remained stained with mold. When we asked for an adjustment on the bill, as we did not feel it was worth the $$$$, we never heard back from the staff.

We just got back from this hotel, we stayed about 8 nights and paid just under £800, I think it was a little expensive for what it was. What we got for the price - Clean room Nice bathroom Room cleaned daily What we didn't get for the price - Breakfast not included, it is an extra cost No pool No terrace Not a great view (over looking a unkempt building with noisy work going on from 7am, broken windows etc) No toilet brush No do not disturb sign (cleaners started at 8am so I was always worried they would knock) Bed not very comfy, our backs were quite sore The staff were lovely, always saying hello and made you feel welcome. The road is very busy, people park up and make deliveries every day on the road early morning to the shops and restaurants, cars and bikes constantly driving past of a night and early morning. If you are looking for somewhere clean but aren't looking for anything with amenities then this would be ideal, but just not for us.

Our recent holiday ended at a hotel we chose mainly for its two-bed provision – essential for my teenage daughter and me. Unfortunately, a ********** issue and poor internet caused our preferences to reset. Although this problem didn't originate from the hotel, the staff's handling of the situation was disappointing. They seemed indifferent and offered a complimentary breakfast as an inadequate resolution.
While the hotel boasted modern aesthetics and cleanliness, it fell short on noise insulation. Our street-side room was constantly disturbed by city sounds. Additionally, I faced issues connecting to the Wi-Fi, forcing me to rely on my mobile data for work tasks.
Despite its cleanliness and style, my experience suggests that this hotel doesn't offer sufficient value for the cost. Better service and a more customer-focused approach can often be found elsewhere in Alicante at a lower price.
