Hotel Plessas Palace

Though not my first trip to Alykanas this was my first time staying at Plessas, and it won't be my last. I had a lovely room overlooking the pool and hills beyond, set back far enough from the road and bar that I didn't hear a peep the whole time I was there. The room was pleasant, the bed comfortable, the facilities impeccable and, although I used it as just a base, the staff were always warm and welcoming. Can't fault Plessas and it's staff - thank you!

Just stayed in the is hotel for 12 nights and woo what a place , local to plenty of shops and restaurants, 5-10 walk to a beautiful beach . Hotel was run by a lovely family Nickos and his family really did make the trip they are so friendly and helpful go out there way for you to enjoy your holiday as well as making you feel like part of there family . They also run a bar/restaurant on site at the hotel which has amazing food and drink and great prices too . We had paid for bed and breakfast for our stay which we had a couple of time but wasn’t for us as was a Greek breakfast of cereal, toast , egg ham and cheese , we prefer the English breakfast from nikos place for 7euros that’s came with cold juice and a hot drink , rooms are basic but as you only sleep and shower in them was perfect , we has an incredible view of the mountains and the swimming pool from our balcony. Rooms are hot unless you pay 10 euros a day to use there ac which didn’t really make a difference as we tryed it for one night , make sure to take plenty of bug spray as the mosquito in this area are hungry due to all the local products being grown . Me and my 19 year old had an amazing 12 nights here and can’t wait to go back . Perfect holiday and break that we needed with plenty of site seeing and tours to be done as well as soaking up on the Greek culture, food and drink as well as the sun on the comfy sun beds around the pool And bar area . Would recommend this accommodation absolutely and will definitely go back with the rest of my children as such family friendly environment there .

Lovely family run establishment. Don't be put off by the negative reviews, it was lovely. Bed very comfy, room very spacious and the whole place is spotless. Breakfast was basic continental but fine, dinner if you go half board is only a main course (dessert, starter extra) but the food was great and very good value. Nikkos who runs the bar is great fun and extremely welcoming. Highly recommended x

On our way home from second visit. Fantastic small and friendly hotel. Already booking for next year. The Plessas family make you feel welcome and one of them. Rooms very clean and well looked after. Breakfast continental style and filling. Food at Nikos always delicious and filling. Never had a bad meal there. New sunbeds are a nice new addition. Wide variety of drinks and the frappe with ice cream are worth a visit alone 😀

Located just on the edge of Alykanas, Plessas Palace proved to be a fantastic weeks break for my son and I. Extremely friendly and relaxed, the hotel is around a five minute walk to the village and approximately fifteen minutes walk to the beach. Our room was a little tired but spotless and cleaned every day. We were located to the rear of the property with great views of the mountains and also caught the afternoon sun. The pool and bar area is a good size and very family friendly. I would definitely recommend Plessas Palace to both families and couples.

Located just out of Alykanas Plessas Palace has proved to be a fantastic weeks break for me and my son. Extremely friendly and relaxed, and in a great location for the town and a short walk to the beach. Nikko and the staff really add to the atmosphere. The pool area is great and family friendly. I choose the half board option, and while continental breakfast may not be everyone’s choice, evening meal was great and really helped me to manage costs! First time visit to Zakynthos and I would return to Plessas Palace tomorrow. Our room was at the rear and the views were stunning, and also caught the afternoon sun.

Nice little Greek hotel, family run. Clean and comfortable. Half board is a tad confusing for some. Ask the rep for advice as it was complicated as the food is chosen off the menu for the attached Nico’s bar. We didn’t have an issue but some did. We had starter, main and desert all in, others were having to pay. Food was excellent, cooked to order. Pool is nice ..plenty of sun beds. Couple of nights entertainment were just starting up for the season. Breakfast was a Greek style cold breakfast which was good. Can recommend the moped shop called Marinos Rentals, just a couple of doors down the road. Great price and lots of advice of where to go from them too, along with a map. Nice place, beaches were nice too.

We booked to stay here through Love Holidays but contacted the hotel directly as we wanted a family room together. Nothing was too much trouble for Maria and the team. They were so friendly and helpful sorting out our room, transport from the airport, hiring a car, even when we requested an extra sheet for my daughters bed. The hotel has a lovely community feel. We all loved the food at Nico’s Place, good sized portions and so tasty. I would highly recommend their Greek night but they also have other themed nights like quiz night where we came second! Nico is so friendly and we loved HAPPY HOUR! V Short walk to bars, shops and restaurants. Would recommend to families and couples alike.

Not sure what we were expecting from this hotel but for the €26 per night it is good value. The rooms are clean (not 100% but beds/ bathroom/towels were clean), it was a little chilly at night so we had to run the hairdryer as there was a fee for the remote for the air on/heating system which we didn’t pay for. There was an issue with our bathroom as the shower leaked out of the tray into the bathroom and the drainage wasn’t very good so it was like walking in puddles. Also dirt from the extractor fan kept falling on top of the toilet. The rooms walls/ceilings are thin so you can hear people in the shower and flushing the toilet but for what we paid for a room, none of it was worth mentioning to the lady on reception who was very pleasant and helpful with booking taxis etc. Breakfast was basic but fine, no variety it was the same stuff every day but again can’t complain due to price. 5 min walk to restaurants and bars and 15 mins to lovely beach. 20 mins to airport so also good location. Would recommend for those on a budget if you aren’t planning on spending much time in the room then it’s worth booking!
