Hotel 3 Bintang di Alimos

Galaxy hotel is a good place to stay, if you want a mid-way experience. First of all, the prices are not high, so your expectations also shouldn't be :) Located 30 minutes away from downtown of Athens, with a great tram and bus connections, this place is conveniently located for also the big city experience and the beach experience. Rooms are clean and equipt ok. However, the space is limited and if your room is looking at the beach (which looked so attractive when we were booking our stay) this is where the nightmare begins! Just in front of the hotel is a boulevard, which seems like a real high way! Although the rooms have a nice balcony, we never used it since the dust and the noise is so bad and very disturbing. Breakfast offer was ok, a simple continental breakfast with a limited, but nice selection of courses. However, the courses are the same every day. Although it is a ok place for a 3 star hotel, and we didn't expect too much of it for the price we paid, the boulevard experience has lower our impression much more.

We saw her also at breakfast and she is asked every one if everything is ok..if you need something in your room. The room was so clean..the bed perfectly made. Check in and out was very quick and easy. Based on other reviews we didn't bother with the breakfast so I can't comment there. The room was a nice size, bed a little firmer than I enjoy, sleep couch pretty comfortable, and the bathroom was nicely equipped. They are constructing a new building across the street and they start early, well early for us. About 7am is when they started to working on which was a bit bothersome due to our late night. Otherwise the room was nice and we enjoyed the proximity to Bikini Beach, which was nice and clean for my family to enjoy. I think once that building is completed, this could be a nice location for future visits.

Έμεινα διανυκτέρευση στην σουίτα ”αριστοκρατική”, ευρύχωρο δωμάτιο με πολύ όμορφη διακόσμηση, στην άκρη του δωματίου το υδρομασάζ ανεβαίνοντας δύο σκαλάκια, το μπάνιο πολύ μεγάλο και πολύ ωραίο, όλα ήταν σε νάιλον (πετσέτες, μπουρνούζια παντόφλες) αυτό που μου έκανε εντύπωση ήταν ότι ακόμα και το σεντόνι και το πάπλωμα ήταν σε νάιλον.... Από καθαριότητα ήταν τέλειο, το room service γρήγωρο και το προσωπικό πολύ ευγενικό και πρόθυμο να μας εξυπηρετήσει, όπως τα διάβασα στο σαιτ και όπως μου τα είπανε στο τηλέφωνο ήτανε..... Θα ξανάρθω σίγουρα.... Το συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα εάν θέλετε να περάσετε μια τέλεια βραδιά με την σύντροφο σας, μια βραδιά που θα ξεχάσετε την καθημερινότητά....
