I have just checked in to the hotel again, after staying here for a night last week. The room I am in this time is even worse than last. Again, as with the room last week, the A/C does not work, only blowing hot air. Again, there is no mini-bar, as advertised, only an empty fridge, without even a complementary bottle of water. There is no kettle, tea or coffee making facilities, only plastic glasses. The window has no black-out curtains, only nets.The window shutter, once it went up will not come back down, so the room is illuminated by the outside lights. I reported these problems to the receptionist and was told that none of the rooms have cold a/c. He told me that a maintenance man would come up to fix the shutters in 20 minutes. That was two hours ago, while I have been waiting. The guy has just turned up now and told me the same story; that the a/c doesn't work in any of the rooms. I am considering going to sleep in the lobby because it is considerably cooler down there. If I open the window, I have the outside play area one floor below. All in all, this is the worst hotel I have stayed in. It certainly does not come anywhere near the standards of other 4* hotels and does not provide the services or facilities that it advertises. Tomorrow, when I check out, I will be asking the manager for a refund. Even though the booking was made as non-refundable, I believe it is unfair that I am not getting the services I have paid for. I would advise anyone reading this to book elsewhere.
