Cleanliness: The room and the bathroom was spotless and very spacious for the price we pay. Can not fault it at all
Location: The hotel is on a corner of roads. It wasn’t easy for us to spot the first time when your driving. You have to park and walk, and then you will see a sign for the hotel. There is no free street parking unless you park after 2030-0730, but during the day you will struggle. The hotel provides parking but for an additional fee. There is also a supermarket next door that serves cheap or reasonable shopping items which we used.
Service: The staff were lovely during check in and check out. The hotel had its own restaurant and the staff over there were lovely.
Amenities: The hotel has its own private swimming pool on the first floor. It’s not heated so we didn’t use it as the weather wasn’t warm either. The room had towels and toiletries provided including a hair dryer. There was running hot water.
Downside: I couldn’t say anything bad for about the hotel. For the price we paid, we experienced only the best. The only issue we had was parking since we didn’t want to pay the additional fee but other than that, I couldn’t complain about the hotel at all

Buena ubicación para el objetivo de nuestra visita (visitar a familiar). Algo alejado del mar. Atención correcta. Buena relación precio/servicio. Adjunto hay un restaurante relacionado con el hotel. ¡Atención! se trata de un restaurante-gourmet para ciertos gustos o costumbres o presupuestos. No es nuestro caso: Nos encontramos con porciones ridículamente pequeñas y carísimos. Mucho más satisfactoria resultó una pizzería internacional en la cercanía. Con todo cumplió con nuestras expectativas y necesidades del momento. Sí, volveríamos a alojarnos allí.

After spending 3 days in the local Government hospital my wife & I stayed here for 2 weeks before we were repatriated back to the UK. Excellent hotel in a lovely area with amazing staff who were very attentive professional & extremely helpful - the manager was very supportive. The hotel is situated just outside the city centre but only a short walk away. Very near the hospital & a large shopping mall. The food was very good especially the breakfasts with a variety of choices on offer. Very near to a host of good restaurants/tapas bars which serve excellent & great value for money food. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a city break at a most reasonable price.

Beautiful hotel located right in the port with an abundance of delightful restaurants and bars. We booked the junior suite with jacuzzi, rather disappointed as no sun loungers on our private terrace despite plenty of room to accommodate them. The room was spacious and tastefully decorated, check in staff were wonderful however I strongly disagree with a €15 room service charge, even if you only want a glass of wine bringing to you. When you pay €250 a night I expect as a minimum to be able to order a drink to my room. We ended up walking to the bar next door, a 2 minute walk and spent €118 for a delicious lunch and drinks do the hotel is missing out on extra revenue because of this ‘ service ‘ charge policy. Surely in todays day and age you should be able to order extras without incurring a charge for a standard hotel service

This was our first holiday with our 4 year old son. We looked at the reviews and noticed a few people mentioning that it was mostly Spanish holiday makers, that the staff seemed to focus on them and the English were left out. Well yes that statement is true it is, but it’s Spain what do you expect, we actually found the staff very friendly and spoke very good English, they included our son in most things, and where it was an activity that was complicated it didn’t seem to bother him that he couldn’t understand a word they said, as a matter of fact it was quite amusing watching three children of different nationality playing and talking to each other even though they didn’t have a scooby what the other was saying. The hotel itself was smart, and very clean, all staff went the extra mile to help. The food was delicious with a great variety for all tastes, even our son on his beige diet ate quite well. There were meat and fish options along with veg and salad, rice and pasta, and a selection of desserts including little tubs of ice cream. The pool area was really good and perfect for what we wanted, with different areas for different age groups, and conveniently if you have mixed ages it’s easy to position yourself to see both. The beach is nice but the water gets very deep very quickly, but little ones can still enjoy the water without getting out of their depth. It’s not really sand it’s more very tiny gravel, so depending on how you cope in bare feet, take something with you. Finally to the hotel manager, thank you for making our holiday such a special occasion, and thanks to the bar staff for putting up with my attempt at Spanish, they were very nice and friendly. Well deserved 5stars

Si tienes coche para desplazarte este hotel me parece perfecto para conocer Almería capital y el resto de la provincia. Es muy fácil acceder a la zona comercial Viapark donde se encuentra el hotel desde la autovía A7. El personal es agradable. Las habitaciones son amplias y muy luminosas, la cama king size y con un colchón super cómodo. El baño también es amplio, moderno y límpio, con una ducha súper grande. Tiene mini nevera y caja fuerte incluidas en la habitación. Tampoco hay problemas de aparcamiento y tiene un hipermercado Carrefour justo enfrente.

Being in the catering trade for the last 42 years, And having stayed in a lot of hotels in many parts of the world within many different groups, I know I can be a quite demanding customer, especially when it comes to my expectations. Even now I cannot get over the expression on my partner's face when we first saw our room, the delight on her face filled my heart with joy, since the only thing that matters to me is her happiness. The service that we received has been second to none and believe me it is not often that I am able to say that. Any queries that we had during our stay were answered and dealt with and always with a smile which means a lot these days. It would be wrong for me to try and single out any one member of the staff as all have been exceptional. The variety of the food that has been served means that every meal experience has been a delight with plenty of choice. I thought that the Barcelo Cairo would be the exception, but our experience here has proved that that is not the case And that it was just the norm that we could expect from your group. I know I have said it earlier but I really cannot praise the staff enough They are all a credit to your company. This experience has cemented our loyalty to your group for further vacations. After a pretty hectic couple of months, I decided to book a solo trip to Spain and after some searching, this hotel was the best price. However, I now understand why the hotel was such a low cost and TUI listing the hotel as 4* is laughable. Some aspects of the hotel are lovely (my room was nice and modern and the pool area is really nice) but everything else is bang average. The staff’s downright unpleasantness and hostility to English people is also something that I need to mention. During this week stay I have lost count of the amount of times that I have been completely blanked by members of staff when trying to order food and drink to a point where I’ve had to get up from my table and walk over to the bar area so they physically cannot ignore me. Spanish people, however, are served at their tables and quite clearly treated a lot better. I have worked in customer service roles my whole working life, and know for a fact that it is not difficult to be nice to people - Particularly people like me who are clearly travelling on their own. Another absolutely mental thing that just happened was that a short time before me typing this, I returned to my sun bed after popping to the toilet (I was gone for a max of ten mins.) on my sun bed was a note warning me not to leave my belongings or else the staff have a right to remove them if they are getting in the way of other guests??? Literally all of the beds around me bar one are completely empty!! I have been on a sun bed in the same area all week so the staff know that I get here early and stay here all day, so to receive this note is frankly quite nasty and underhanded. What would you like me to do, wee in the pool??? I have attached photos to this review showing the note as well as the empty beds around me. Overall, weather has been fab and it’s been lovely to have a relaxing break away. I wish, however, that I’d booked the Barcelo next door instead. Do better Cabogata Jardin.

PPengguna TetamuL’appartement est moderne et confortable, bien situé dans le centre d’Almeria, il bénéficie d’un parking privé à 5mn, en supplément. En ce qui concerne le n° 11 que nous occupions, c'est un couloir, : 20 mètres de long sur 2,50 m de large. Il est très sombre, obligation de lumière électrique en journée. La salle de bain est inexistante : un lavabo dans les WC, une douche minuscule avec une porte vitrée dans la chambre, pas d’intimité si l’on est quatre. Pas de rangement, une tringle de 40cm avec 5 cintres et 3 minuscules tiroirs, dérisoire pour 4 personnes. Le coffre fort ne fonctionne pas, faute de piles. Il faut mesurer 2,50 m pour atteindre le système de fermeture des rideaux! Piscine agréable sur le toit mais le bar ne fonctionne pas et les fauteuils sont recouverts de housses, donc pas utisables. Très dérangeant, une sorte de désodorisant qui fait tousser est envoyé à intervalles réguliers par la bouche d’aération du séjour. Le bouton de sonnerie de l’appartement est mal placé, les gens sonnent pensant qu'il s’agit de celui de la lumière, dérangeant. Pour finir l’accueil est entièrement ”robotisé” : une machine à l’entrée pour scanner les passeports, payer, obtenir les clés.... Cet appartement ne vaut pas le prix.

We had appointments in the city so spent the night at this hotel. Staff were friendly and efficient, room spacious and spotless, the bed comfortable and the evening meal good. As is often the case the hot items at breakfast were on the cold side. Very good for anyone who does not want to drive righ down town.

Location: The hotel is on a corner of roads. It wasn’t easy for us to spot the first time when your driving. You have to park and walk, and then you will see a sign for the hotel. There is no free street parking unless you park after 2030-0730, but during the day you will struggle. The hotel provides parking but for an additional fee. There is also a supermarket next door that serves cheap or reasonable shopping items which we used.
Service: The staff were lovely during check in and check out. The hotel had its own restaurant and the staff over there were lovely.
Amenities: The hotel has its own private swimming pool on the first floor. It’s not heated so we didn’t use it as the weather wasn’t warm either. The room had towels and toiletries provided including a hair dryer. There was running hot water.
Downside: I couldn’t say anything bad for about the hotel. For the price we paid, we experienced only the best. The only issue we had was parking since we didn’t want to pay the additional fee but other than that, I couldn’t complain about the hotel at all

Being in the catering trade for the last 42 years, And having stayed in a lot of hotels in many parts of the world within many different groups, I know I can be a quite demanding customer, especially when it comes to my expectations. Even now I cannot get over the expression on my partner's face when we first saw our room, the delight on her face filled my heart with joy, since the only thing that matters to me is her happiness. The service that we received has been second to none and believe me it is not often that I am able to say that. Any queries that we had during our stay were answered and dealt with and always with a smile which means a lot these days. It would be wrong for me to try and single out any one member of the staff as all have been exceptional. The variety of the food that has been served means that every meal experience has been a delight with plenty of choice. I thought that the Barcelo Cairo would be the exception, but our experience here has proved that that is not the case And that it was just the norm that we could expect from your group. I know I have said it earlier but I really cannot praise the staff enough They are all a credit to your company. This experience has cemented our loyalty to your group for further vacations. Thank you, Barcelo And an even bigger thank you to Barcelo cabo de gata for a fantastic vacation

PPengguna TetamuEl pasado fin de semana estuvimos en Almería y nos alojamos en los apartamentos Torreluz porque disponían de cocina y mi hija tiene graves alergias alimentarias, que casi ningún establecimiento hostelero tiene en consideración para q ella pueda disfrutar de una comida de restaurante. Al llegar al apartamento, el único menaje disponible eran vasos, una sartén con tapa y una pala de servir, no había cubiertos, platos ni kit básico para lavar la sartén. Al reservar en su día, expliqué las circunstancias médicas d la nena y me dijeron q no tenía q pagar el desayuno puesto q no iba a consumir. Cuando bajamos al hotel a desayunar, yo misma le llevé su pan, galletas, leche, fruta, fiambre, etc. Para q 'participara del desayuno buffet', le pusimos un vaso de zumo y enseguida se acercó una señora del comedor para indicarnos q si la niña consumía debíamos pagar (siquiera preguntó cuales eran las circunstancias). Por supuesto, le expliqué la situación, le mostré los tupper y la nevera con sus alimentos y a la salida me ofrecí a pagar su desayuno, pero me respondieron q no hacía falta. Solamente quiero hacer un llamamiento a la sensibilidad de las personas q atienden al público ante estas situaciones tan especiales, q no son moda ni capricho, y sobre todo cuando afectan a la infancia, q bastante desgracia tienen porque desde la hostelería no se atiende. En ningún lugar me había pasado antes y mi hija tiene 9 años. Siempre le he explicado q su enfermedad no puede ser una limitación para viajar o disfrutar del ocio en compañía. En fin, mi valoración no puede ser positiva ni recomendaré este hotel.

We stayed at Hotel Nuevo Torreluz for 5 nights in September and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We stayed in a standard double room with breakfast included. Firstly, the location is fantastic if you are planning to explore the city on foot. It is located a 2-3 minute walk from one of the main street. There is a Carrefour Marketplace approx. 5 minute walk away. Key sites such as the cathedral, plaza de la constitution, civil war shelters and the casa del poeta are reachable within 5-10 minutes of walking. The tourist information centre is also nearby and is a helpful place to stop by at beginning of your visit to pick up a map. On arrival we were welcomed by the concierge who was friendly and helpful. The main room was basic but functional, there is a large wardrobe, table & chair, desk as well as a mini fridge and safe. There was no extra charge to use the safe which was a bonus. The bathroom was modern and clean. Overall, the room meet our needs well. Breakfast was continental, with guests serving themselves. There was a variety of options available from cereal, fresh fruit, yoghurt, cakes to cold meats, bread and bacon, sausage & eggs. Hot drinks were available as well as fresh orange juice and water. We did not eat at the on-site restaurant (Taberna Nuevo Torreluz), instead we chose to eat out at various restaurants in the city. If you are looking for a good ice cream I'd recommend going to Alpino's, they had a great variety of flavours available and the scoop sizes were great. The beach was a 30 to 35 minute walk away, however, there is also a bus that leaves from the main street regularly. The beach is a mix of pebbles and sand. If travelling from the airport you can either get a bus and walk approx 10-15 minutes to hotel or get a 15 minute taxi. Overall, if you're looking for a good quality, clean and welcoming hotel in the centre of Almeria I would recommend staying here.

La ubicacion es idonea porque esta en todo el centro a nada de distancia de las cosas mas emblematicas de ver o los sitios para comer. El personal es muy agradable y cercano y te resuelven cualquier duda o necesidad que tengas
