Travelling from Germany, we stayed as a family of three for 13 nights at Sun Siyam Iru Veli in May 2024. It was a truely outstanding holiday experience in all regards! That started from the exceptionally great service, and we‘d like to thank all who made it possible by their hard and excellent work. Just to name a few: - Sam, who was our host and did great anticipating our wishes and realizing them almost 24/7. - Janith, who took great care to ensure that our villa #618 was always in top condition. - The great spirit of the teams in the restaurants with Hesham, Ashfag, Bandula, Falak, Kumar, Namal, Jayanti and Verej - exceptional! - Afreen, a special thanks goes to you for reading our wishes from our eyes at the bar all the time (here‘s someone who is most grateful for your spot-on Banana Colada recommendation ;-) ). - Last but not least, the team at the dive base lead and perfectly organized by Miranda. Ammaday showed me the fantastic underwater world of the Maldives with greatest dedication during the 7 dives we did together, you deserve my special thanks! And Song you did absolutely great introducing our son to the fascination of Scuba diving for the first times ever!! As an experienced diver I found the base and boat trips well organized, operating safely, comfortably, very flexible and it was great fun to dive with you. All of you (and many more of your colleagues who I can‘t mention here) really made a difference in making us feel welcome and home. The island itself is beyond any doubt, you just have to look at the photos. Everything is beautiful and in top condition. We also liked the food very much, and with some experience in good and fine dining around the world can honestly state that it‘s on a exceptionally high level. We also value the feedback culture we experienced during our stay. Once a small detail was not perfect, it was taken care of by the head-chef to ensure highest quality. Summarizing, we‘d simply love to come back any time. This was the most amazing and perfect holiday experience ever.

Was extremely excited and amazing, all stuff were great but Fatima the girl from Morocco was different, she take care of us all the time, the weather was good in my time. We tried all The 3 restaurants and really is good, swimming pool, beach the villa I chose was fantastic Thank you for making my time useful

We stayed in a beach villa and overwater villa at Iru Veli for 10 days. We enjoyed both rooms very much. Our preference ironically was the beach villa, feeling slightly bigger and the access direct to the beach was great. We wished the overwater had a clothesline, like the beach villa. It would also be great if there was a more permanent structure for luggage in the overwater, similar to the one in the beach villa. Fauzaan was our ambassador and really looked after us throughout the trip. Helping to book the spa, a floating breakfast and the excursions which are included such as the sunset dolphin. Furthermore he went out of his way to organise a bubble bath and a picture for us. Fauzaan made our stay memorable. We tried the spa and had a wonderful experience. Ambika was a great masseuse. We also had the pleasure of diving for the first time and had a great experience. We wish our photos were slightly better which are included. However the dive team did offer to do a retake which we did not do due to lack of time. We used the water sports available including jetski and paddle board and had a great time. Baaki (hopefully spelt his name right) was so helpful and retrieved our sunglasses after they fell in the ocean! We are vegetarian (veggie) and found options at every meal at the buffet restaurant Aqua Orange. I liked there was separate tongs for everything to help with avoiding cross contamination. We were grateful for the food the head chefs (Niam & Kamal) specially prepared for us especially the delicious Pau Bhaji, Samosas and Chilli Paneer. Our waiters Ashfag & Jaufar were also really lovely and helpful. Remembering our drink orders and bringing us extra chilli ️, always going the extra mile. We always went to find their sections before sitting down. We dined at Grouper Grill which was not the best for vegetarians. The starters were really delicious (Gazpacho & Arancini). However service was slow and our mains (vegetable pasta) turned up cold/frozen and after a very long wait. We did feel we had a few dishes which were served cold/frozen from all restaurants which should be reviewed. We dined at Roma 2 nights, on our first night the waiters seemed confused at us being vegetarian needing to clarify what this dietary needs mean (although grateful they did ask). They tried to serve us a pre starter which was chicken which was definitely an oversight and mistake, they serve this as soon as you arrive. It did not happen again. The arancini served instead was delicious. The bruschetta was nice but the bread was slightly too hard. The vegetable lasagna was delicious. The pizza was nice too. On our second visit I tried the mushroom risotto which was also very nice but the portion felt slightly too big. Service was quite slow on both occasions. There are two pools and two bars. Chemistry pool is nice and family friendly but lacked a certain finesse to it. We spent the majority of our time at Freshwater which is the adults only and is

Everything was fantastic and memorable with Sun Siyam, the team Fatima , tiu , Fayaz and other restaurants staff was great .. special thanks to Fatima for making our anniversary memorable . Food was good , rooms were supereb view with privacy .overall I will highly recommended to stay in Sun Siyam

Had the most amazing massage by Wayan and my husband had a massage by Lakmal. I had the Balinese which was amazing and my husband had the head massage. So nice and relaxing! Highly recommended. This resort is beautiful. Perfect for our honeymoon.

WOW!!! What a wonder place with wonderful people. I really stunned with the kind of services provided by Mr.Masdhooq and Mr.Athif at Sun Siyam Iru Veli. The view from the room was a paradise. Amazing food with wide variety of spread. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience and felt like a different world.

We came to Maldives for our honeymoon and they were so kind and thankful! The scenery, the food, and everything were perfect! Especially, the Grouper grill restaurant is the best of the best! I love you all! I was so happy! Esham is very good person and kind:)
