The Hosts make your stay a lovely time. Signor Beppe makes sure you have an easy holiday. His advice is honest and caring. The views you can see in the gallery are truly breath-taking and you are one hour away from all the major places such as Amalfi, Positano, Minori and Sorrento. We swam in the four different beaches and had lunch there too. Even the village itself is lively for evenings out when you wish to stay around. That is why we chose to stay there. We have plans to return so as to visit even more sites. For instance the Ercolano is on the way to the airport and is well worth the visit - so next time we shall visit Pompeii. Vesuvius is also an hour away and we bought excellent Buffalo milk Limoncello there, a novelty to us. And what about Ravello, what a sweet town with winding narrow streets opening onto a lovely tree-shaded Piazza Centrale and the Duomo. And a day in Capri with a lovely boat ride from Amalfi as advised by Signor Beppe. We take this opportunity to thank the whole family. Please take their advice and phone ahead if you have difficulties for your best choices or itinerary. And please slow down to enjoy the Tyrrhenian Sea and its rhythms, soak in the culture and smell the wine and the roses.

Where do i start? After a number of cancelled flights, the hotel Manager and staff made us feel extremely comfortable with how welcoming, kind, and helpful they were, helped us with a car rental, served us extremely good and fresh food, the views were amazing, the rooms were extremely clean, and overall, they made our trip the best it could’ve been. I cannot recommend this enough, if you’re visiting Amalfi this is the hotel to stay at.

We've just come home from a lovely stay at this hotel, the hotel is set upon a hill with beautiful views overlooking Meta and Sorrento, so such a wonderful view! The room was fresh and clean with a balcony overlooking the beautiful view, and both the pool and terrace overlook the view too. Breakfast is served in the hotel with a mixture of fruit, yoghurts, cakes, croissants and rolls with cheese and ham Ideally we would suggest hiring a car if you are staying here as it's about a 30 minute walk into Meta to get the L1 train (3 stops to Sorrento). And it can be a long, tiring walk back up the hill along a narrow path next to a main road back to the hotel in the evening, having said that, we walked that hill each evening so it is possible, as the taxis are very expensive and difficult to get without booking in advance. But the Manager Mariano can give you information about the taxis We had a problem with out transfer back to the airport on our day of checking out, and a huge thanks to Mariano and Luigi for helping us and making sure we made it to the airport in time! We can't thank them enough. All in all a fantastic  holiday, staying in a lovely hotel overlooking the sea!

We were glad to finally make it to Amalfi after a number of Covid-related delays for our trip. The hotel manager Luigi and his staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel room was very clean, comfortable and finished with beautiful blue tiles. It had a shared balcony overlooking the harbour and waterfront. It was nice to sometimes just watch the bustling waterfront activity from above. Our train was delayed almost 2 hours so we arrived late. If you are planning to arrive after dark, I would recommend confirming access to the lobby for checking in; we were confused initially. The location was convenient to the bus terminal, ferry dock and main square. We loved Amalfi with its alleyways, beautiful cathedral, Mediterranean blue waters and lovely evenings where we enjoyed lemon desserts and cappuccinos in the square.

We loved the hotel and the location. Minori is a small town with a “locals” feel which we liked. Visiting the nearby towns of Almalfi and Miaori we really appreciated the comfortable and more relaxed feel of Minori. The seafront is easily walkable down mostly narrow streets although some roads it can be busy with traffic at times. We spent a lot of time on the seafront just watching the world go by, and the locals! We found the bus service unreliable and when one did appear it was full and not allowing further passengers aboard. Use the ferry service from Minori if it’s running (it won’t run in rough seas), it’s cheap and efficient. We ate mostly on the seafront, there’s plenty of choice for eating out. Our hotel room was very spacious with a good size bathroom and it was super clean, the cleaning staff remade our room daily and it was always spotless. We had a lovely little balance, the only downside was that it faced onto the road and was pretty noisy, the Italians seemed to like tooting their car/moped horns a lot! The doors and shutters did block some of this out but at times it was really noticeable. When we might have had the windows open for the fresh air we found it was too noisy to leave them open. However, as we had such roomy accommodation we tolerated the noise. Breakfast was great, plenty of choice and good quality food.

The reason this is classed as a “wellness hotel” is because it comes with a free gym membership. If you’re physically unable, unfit or lazy, this is not the hotel for you. To get to this hotel was fairly difficult, there are 3 ways in, all require going up and down steep, uneven steps in various fashions. The “10 minute walk” (which is the quickest way), involves going up 60 steep steps, down 50 steps and through a tunnel along side cars, buses and vans , with no walk way, then through a walkway passage though the mountains to arrive at the closest point to amalfi town. The safest way requires you to go down 50 steps, up a long steep winding road of about 200 meters and up another 30 steps before reaching the passage for walking. The room decor is dated and resembles something that came out of a Wes Anderson film, worn down wallpapered walls with dirt and scuff marks, a shower that only half worked and floors that after a day felt like someone had danced around the room with toast in their mouth spitting crumbs. The bed was not to my comfort, was quite hard and felt more like stretched canvas over a frame than a mattress, this and thee pillows were nicely wrapped up by a throw that had been used by countless amounts of people staying previously. The hotel cleanliness was generally good, our room was made up each day and new towels were given, however the wood flooring meant that grime and dirt just stuck to your feet and I swiftly started wearing the flip flops for comfort. The service from the hotel on arrival was okay, we rang ahead and they informed us someone would help us with the heavy, large bags, however when we called, the single telephone line was being used and I decided to take on the fest of the dreaded 70 steps (bad choice). We were too early to check in, so we left our bags and came back later, when we got access to the room, we were awkwardly given a tour by reception, who left us stood outside the room whilst they got the slow small elevator up and our bags taken to the room, but it seemed more a quest for tips than service. If you choose to stay here, when tackling the stairs from the “beach”, I’d recommend you pay the few euro tip. Along this line, there seemed to be a fair few times (specifically at check out) when the elevator was broken. But this is probably my suspicious mind. The one positive I had for this hotel is the view, which I will admit is beautiful view of the coast and atrani. However, along with this view is a free alarm/clock 24 hours a day, 4 times an hour. The Atrani village clock strikes in the following times: Sunrise, sunset (16 times each) On the hour, for each hour On each quarter of the hour, for the house and the quarter Example; 7:45am= 7 dings, 3 small dings. When the doors were closed, this was not horribly audible, but noticeable and you can easily sleep, but it does get mildly frustrating and, admittedly, sometimes useful. May 13, 2023. In April, Judy and I visited Pompeii with another couple who are good friends and traveling companions, while visiting Italy, Switzerland and Sweden. Our group has considerable international travel experience and each of us really enjoyed Mirosa Bed and Breakfast; the people and accommodations were great. It was an excellent choice. Of note, during our stay issues arose with a booked tour and related timing and transportation issues. Owners Mirosa and husband Pasquale personally took control and, through considerable effort on their part, made it all work out. Stayed here 6 nights. Wonderful accommodation. Maria is a sweetheart and makes a good breakfast. Rooms are clean, small and in close proximity to each other so this is NOT a hotel for babies, children, pets or loud guests. (Highly recommend families book an Airbnb when staying in Amalfi coast out of respect to other travelers)

Beautiful hotel with amazing views. Very helpful and friendly staff. VERY impressed with quality and variety of food offered. Hope to return soon. Brilliant location for visiting other places on Amalfi coast. Very easy to walk to local train station.
