We booked for a long weekend and certainly chose the right hotel. The staff were friendly, helpful and couldn't do enough for us, the food was lovely, we had breakfast every day and it was spot on, we eat two evening meals including a Sunday lunch and again we could not fault the staff or the food. I have already been recommending this hotel to friends and family, rooms lovely and clean and full of character. The only very slight issue was our room was facing the road and over the bar, so it was a little noisy at times, but this didn't spoil what was a lovely stay.

An unforgettable escape! I had the privilege of spending a magical weekend in Wiltshire on a Walking and Arts retreat that exceeded all expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was met with warm, exceptional hospitality that made me feel instantly at home. Every detail was thoughtfully curated—from the most delectable, soul-warming meals to the cozy and inviting accommodations that provided every comfort imaginable. The retreat itself was a perfect blend of relaxation, creativity, and exploration, offering a serene base to discover the wealth of attractions and hidden gems this beautiful region has to offer. This place is truly a treasure, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking inspiration, adventure, or simply a restorative getaway.

We had the pleasure of staying at Stonehenge Courtyard for two nights as a family of four. We had booked as we were attending a wedding at Syrencot House and this was a 8 minute drive away. We stayed in their Solstice room, which has a double bed and two singles, with a half wall separating the two spaces. We had additional family stay in the other two rooms, Sarsen and Sarum. When you arrive, you are given a private access code to open a gate, which leads you down a passage-way into a charming courtyard with outdoor seating. This is a lovely place to sit and enjoy the sunshine, and as we had booked all three rooms in the space, it was a good spot to spend family time together in privacy over a cup of tea or a meal. Our room was at the end, and upon entry you are greeted with the two single beds on one side, and on the other is a small fridge and desk. As we opted for the continental breakfast the fridge was full of milk, cold water, apple and orange juice. It also had a box full of fresh berries and several yogurts. On the desk was a kettle, four mugs, four glasses, lots of tea and coffee and biscuits. In a bag was the rest of our breakfast items, which included pain au chocolates, a selection of muffins, bananas, porridge, flapjacks and I believe more biscuits. The breakfast variety was incredible and even with two hungry children, we couldn't finish it all. Moving further into the room, there is a wall protruding about halfway into the space which acts as a partition between the two single beds and the double, and has a full length mirror. On the other side was the double bed opposite a desk and chair, and above that a TV. The TV comes loaded with various channels, all you need to do is sign in with your own netflix/disney/etc accounts. Wi-fi was also available and very good, the password is in the handbook left of the desk. Also included in the desk is a hair dryer and an iron. The ironing board could be found next to the double bed in a small space that served as an open wardrobe to hang up clothes. The beds themselves were very comfy and absolutely massive, you can share the double and have to stretch to touch each other! The pillows are plump and comfy, although I only needed one. Next to the double beds was the door to our bathroom, which was absolutely massive. Boasting a walk in shower which included shampoo/bodywash and conditioner, and enjoying a sky light, this bathroom felt light, clean and airy with plenty of space to get fully ready for the day in private. (which is important if you're sharing with 3 other people, one of whom is a pre-teen!) While Stonehenge courtyard doesn't have it's own parking, there really is no need with so many places to park near by. There is on street parking directly outside after 6pm and before 8am, and the town centre parking, a 2 minute walk away, is only £5.50 for the day and you can pay online, so you don't even need to leave your bed if you're enjoying a lie in. Everything was amazing, starting from the checin process, cleanliness, amenities in the room. Very close to Stonehenge and would definitely recommend to families.

Me and my partner spent the bank holiday Sunday at this shepherd hut. It was only for one night on the way back from somewhere else but it was a lovely stay. The shepherds huts are really nicely decorated, we had one with a London scene painted on the ceiling. The shepherds huts are in a yard in the pub but even though they are next to each other they were still enough privacy. You can have breakfast in the pub which was £12.50 for a buffet I believe, we didn't have the breakfast but we did have an evening meal there and it was really nice. We attended the live music night which was entertaining. Overall I would recommend this place. It's handy for Stonehenge and Woodhenge is literally a few minutes down the road. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Sublime stay - very quiet rooms with nice views, new amenities, accessible by bus to Salisbury, Amesbury, or to Stonehenge by bike or car, and helpful kind staff and service! First class feel for value price. The food is also good - Salisbury steak is available along with good local ale although we had the butternut squash sotd.
