A welcome respite during a tough European trip. The location is good enough to walk to with a suitcase, and being close to the station makes it easy to get to tourist spots. The air conditioning is excellent and powerful. The bathroom and towels are clean and spotless. The staff are friendly, and luggage storage is available. There is no refrigerator. Even if I come back to Amsterdam later, this would be the first place I'd consider staying again.

There isn't a refrigerator in the room, but you can ask the front desk to store your items in their fridge. You might also be able to get ice cubes depending on availability, so it's best to ask at the front desk first.

I was disappointed with my stay at Avenue Hotel Amsterdam. The biggest issue was the lack of flexibility and understanding from the receptionist. We encountered a problem with our room while traveling with our 4-year-old child, but instead of helping us find a reasonable solution, we were told to book an additional room for our child, which was completely unreasonable. After raising our concerns, the hotel eventually offered a room upgrade, but by then the experience had already been frustrating and stressful. Better communication and a more customer-focused approach would have made a significant difference. The hotel’s location is convenient, but unfortunately the poor customer service overshadowed our stay. Overall, it was not a good experience, and I hope the hotel improves how it handles family guests and resolves room issues in the future.

This hotel is relatively close to the central station and on the way to the Royal Palace, so I think the location is convenient. I booked a room for a family of three, but the extra bed was narrow and cramped, so I wouldn't recommend it for three people. There was no safe or refrigerator either.

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received during my stay. I arrived at the hotel at 9:00 AM and asked if it would be possible to check in early. I was willing to pay an additional fee if a room was available. I was told that no rooms were ready and was asked to return at 1:00 PM. When I returned, the staff repeatedly reminded me that the official check-in time was 3:00 PM without providing clear information about room availability. Later, I was informed that a room was available at 2:00 PM, but only if I paid an additional €10 for early check-in. This option was never clearly explained when I first arrived, which made the whole process frustrating and poorly managed. When I finally checked in at 3:00 PM, I was standing in line at reception, but the receptionist ignored me and called another Western guest who was behind me. The other guest even pointed out that I had been waiting first. This experience left me feeling that I was treated unfairly and with less respect than other guests. The room itself was acceptable, although it was not as clean as I would have expected. While this was not a major issue, it added to the overall disappointment. Overall, the biggest problem was not the room but the attitude and professionalism of the front desk staff. The communication was poor, the service was unfriendly, and I left with a very negative impression of the hotel.

The hotel's location is very central, and you can easily walk to most places in Amsterdam. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room is small but clean, and you can leave your luggage after checkout, which is great.

This is our first time to Amsterdam. We chose the three-singl- bed room at Avenue Hotel, which is later proved to be the excellent choice. The location of the hotel is perfect. It only takes less than 10 minutes walk to the Central Station. There are trams just in front of the hotel which will lead you to the beautiful museums you need to visit in Amsterdam. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the friendly and dedicated staff, especially Arman and ThuShara. Without Arman's help, we could not get the tickets and the bookings for the museums. We enjoy the breakfast here at the hotel. We will definitely choose this hotel for our next visit.

Hye guys! Malaysian review here 🇲🇾 I stayed at Hotel Avenue for 4 days 3 nights with my family and honestly we’re super satisfied. Location very strategic, dekat Dam Square, depan hotel terus ada tram yang directly goes around the area, so memang senang nak go anywhere. Area around the hotel pun easy to find halal-friendly food, ada burger halal nearby named “Oh My Bun!!”, so delicious, you have to try 🍔🤍 Room quite spacious, clean and comfortable for family stay. Overall memang recommended kalau datang Amsterdam with family ✨

The room was clean and tidy, and the location was great, very close to the train station. The staff were very enthusiastic. Overall, I was very satisfied and highly recommend it.

The location is great to walk everywhere also in front of the hotel have a metro station which is quite convenient for new travellers or those who dont wanna walk that long haha overall I liked it also staff is friendly and helpful.

Very close to centraal station, walking distance, as well as to many bars and restaurants in the heart of Amsterdam.

It's quite small, and the soundproofing isn't great! The location is close to the pedestrian street and the train station, making it suitable for friends on a short stopover. Not recommended for extended stays!
