One of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at! From the second we walked in, we already felt right at home. Richard at the front desk was so friendly and accommodating in every way! He helped us make adjustments to our room and was swift, friendly and beyond nice! Sve, our concierge on the first day was the nicest, and sweetest person! So professional, and made great suggestions for our excursions in Amsterdam! Although we only spent a short while together, Sve made us feel like family and very special! He went out of his way to treat us like VIPs! Mark, our concierge on the second day was also super helpful and friendly! He helped us make changes to our plans, made great recommendations, and every time he saw us, he opened doors for us and greeted us by name. Also made us feel like family! Mark even walked my 87 year old mother in law to the Van Gogh museum just to make sure she didn’t get lost! Now that is white glove service! Everyone at the hotel was beyond friendly, service was amazing and really, one of the best experiences our family has had in Europe! Behind the front desk, you were always greeted with a smile. Concierge desk, the same and everyone was ready to offer suggestions. Etan was a gem for helping us secure entry to the Van Gogh museum even though it was sold out. We can’t wait to come back and spend more time at this world class hotel with world class people and service!

Set right next to the best part of the city, Leidseplein which is very well connected to all the notable landmarks including walkable distance to both the Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh museum as well as the famous Voldelpark. The hotel has very modern interiors and all the facilities to make ones stay comfortable. The room and bathroom were very clean and spacious unlike the other European hotels. The hotel staff were courteous and helpful. There are 100's of restaurants serving all types of food and all are within walking distance from the hotel. Getting to Dam Square which is the shopping hub and Amsterdam Central station is just a single tram ride. Overall, the hotel is very clean and comfortable and nothing can beat the convenient location of this hotel.

Hotel 717 lives up to its buzz and in fact, exceeded our expectations. From start to finish our stay was delightful. We were greeted warmly at the front doorstep and treated to a welcome cocktail after checking in. The property is beautiful! Expertly curated with whimsical, decorative details throughout. Our room was spacious, and the bed + bedding were sublime. Staff was exceptionally kind, with extra special praise earned by Camilla and Wolf who went above and beyond for us! It was quite difficult to leave Hotel 717, although the send-off tin of cookies eased our sadness and heightened our hopes to return asap. Thank you, Hotel 717! We are grateful for you all!

We stayed here during kingdays, it a very nice location. It's in near of every shop, restaurants club and etc. Very clean hotel. Came across with Housekeeping supervisor Cristina very friendly staff which we request extra towels and coffe and she delivered so fast. Breakfast was also okay. Downside about it that there no airco in the hotel so it can get hotel. But you can open the window which okay.. other than that I would recommend and definitely coming back.

We decided to splurge on this 5 star hotel for a long anticipated family reunion. Unfortunately the experience was marred by a series of disappointments caused by utterly incompetent hotel staff. When I called ahead on the day of our arrival to request an early check-in the hotel rep. sternly informed me that I would have to pay a 120 Euro charge for the privilege! We are experienced travelers and never have we encountered such a demand. We took our chances regardless and decided to show up 2 hours early. Sure enough, our room was already ready and we were allowed to occupy it at no extra charge. Things really started to go south when a limousine that I had arranged for separate airport pickup of my daughter’s family through the concierge showed up at the airport unequipped with a baby car seat. I had expressly requested this when I booked the service. This was also specified in the booking confirmation sent by email to me by the concierge. The reaction I later got when I complained to the concierge was that I was not charged extra for the baby seat - as if this was the main issue! Furthermore, this was the first time that I was informed of such a charge, as no mention of this had been made in the email confirmation of the limo reservation which I originally received from the concierge. More importantly, what is more concerning is the utter indifference he showed for the safety of a guest’s infant grandchild. All that concerned him was the money angle to the failure. Things soon got worse. When we checked into our room we lifted the bed cover to discover several hairs and multiple red and yellow stains. Unbelievably, the chambermaid had neglected to change the bedsheets. This, in a 5 star hotel! After we called reception, staff was quickly sent to our room to change them. We never heard further from management about this. We later had dinner at Serre restaurant onsite and left the place hungry. The chef seems to focus on presentation and less on the reasonableness of the portions. My wife had a fish main course which was equivalent to 3 forkfuls. The minuscule dessert was pretty to look at but was grossly inadequate even for one person. The restaurant style is a throwback to the old Nouvelle Cuisine school. For the icing on the cake: a voucher for a round of drinks on the house at the rooftop bar that the guest services manager had kindly given me was bungled by the bar staff. When I arrived home I discovered a mysterious charge of 66 Euros by the Twenty-Third Floor Bar. The bar staff set new standards of incompetence in taking my voucher and charging me anyway.I had to call the hotel for credit but I am losing money anyway from the spread in exchange rates used by credit card companies. To be fair, the Superior View room was extremely spacious and comfortable with a magnificent view. The large pool and ample spa facilities were enjoyable and a significant convenience . Hotel location was good as it is in the central area to almost all activities that we went. But however, hotel room service did not help us to empty our toilet trash bin every single day despite that we gave tips everyday, so I'm not sure how clean exactly is their room service. Bring extra cash for hotel tax and deposits as we were only told on the 1st night of checking in when the recept call up to our room to ask us to go to the reception to pay for our hotel tax and deposit, where only the deposits will be refunded upon checking out if you did not consume their in-room beverages or destroy their hotel etc. Hotel location is very near to 2 super mart, and also the ******** coffee shop, cafe and restaurants, not very convenient for kids as every where smells of ********. Breakfast was super good spread, large varieties, we love it.

My partner and I stayed at INK hotel in Amsterdam in early July and to say that our stay was wonderful would be an enormous understatement! Not only is the hotel itself incredibly unique, creative and beautiful, the staff is unparalleled! Upon entering, we were greeted by Rob and Valerie who were both so welcoming, warm, informative and personable. It was my partner’s birthday during our stay and it was my desire to make it as special as possible. This was a daunting task as I am not familiar with Amsterdam nor do I speak Dutch. Thanks to Rob and Val, his birthday was a huge success! Val assisted me with the train routes, times and directions and both she and Rob provided me with creative ideas. Rob then made phone calls for me to inquire about reservations and tickets as I was having difficulty navigating websites written in Dutch. After a perfect day, we walked into a fabulously decorated hotel room with balloons, chocolate hearts, champagne, etc. It was absolutely amazing!! We have traveled around the globe, stayed in hundreds of hotels and never have we experienced such exceptional treatment by hotel staff!! We will definitely make sure to stay at INK on our next visit to Amsterdam and will recommend that all of our friends and family do as well. Thank you INK hotel for providing such excellence!!

I had a very nice room facing the canal and the Rijks, with lots of light. Although it was a bit cold and the heating system was not working or the central heating was off. However, staff were nice enough to lend me radiator. They get very busy at reception and most times only one person is on shift so it gets quite slow to check-in/collect bags/pay food/etc — it also gets busy even if 2 people are attending. Some of the staff, when dropping luggage or collecting, where unfriendly. They forgot to clean my room even though I hanged the notice.

Me and my son booked a twin room. Perfect size for us to crash in after a days sightseeing. Beds super comfy with the biggest pillows. My son also enjoyed the basketball net inside the room. Bathroom a good size too. Quirky decor throughout, super friendly staff and brilliant location for museums, canal boats and trams to get around. Would definitely stay there again as great price for location.

La struttura si trova in prossimità del parco più importante della città di Amsterdam. Il bagno della nostra camera era molto piccolo ma nel complesso buono. La camera non era molto ben pulita. Il servizio alla reception cordiale e professionale, abbiamo anche utilizzato il servizio gratuito del deposito bagagli senza problemi. La posizione è abbastanza vicina al centro di Amsterdam e ben collegato con le principali linee del trasporto pubblico cittadino.

Nel complesso l hotel ci è piaciuto molto. Siamo stati solo una notte.Esteticamente si presenta benissimo.Fuori sembra ordinario ma dentro è veramente una chicca. Tutto richiama molto l arte moderna. A noi ci è capitata una stanza al seminterrato ma comunque aveva una finestra alta che illuminava benissimo l interno. Stanza calda e confortevole. Le dimensioni erano piu che sufficienti. Hai a disposizione un bollitore e la macchinetta del caffè in camera e questo a noi piace sempre perché è un servizio che apprezziamo soprattutto dopo le lunghe passeggiate. L’unico difetto che non so dire se sia dovuto al fatto che eravamo al -1 è che a un certo punto della notte il bagno puzzava in maniera anche importante di fogna. La mattina poi svanisce gradualmente anche perché il giorno non abbiamo sentito nulla al nostro arrivo. La posizione non è proprio in centro anche se con una passeggiata di 30min a piedi ci arrivi altrimenti hai il tram che è veloce. Per noi è stato comunque un buon punto.
