Hotel berhampiran Panama American Center, Ancon

Overall this was good hotel, but based on the reviews, I did expect better. I have no complaints, but at same time do not feel anything stood out as being overly impressive. It is quite basic, and compared to other hotels in the city, we found it expensive.

Gute Lage für Albrook Airport, gut 10 Minuten zu Fuss mit Koffer. Zimmer geräumig und sauber, aber ausser Stuhl und Bett Null Mobilar. Zimmer 118 vor Waschmachinen und Küche. Rezeption Service sehr gut, Frühstück Service schlecht. Gäste die nach mir kamen erhielten Frühstück vor mir. Nach 20 Minuten warten bin ich gefangen, denn hatte Flug.

This hotel I have recommended to a friend of mine. I am happy my friend was satisfied. I think the price is good and the area. If you want to save money and still be in the city I believe this place is good for the price. It is very clean They have a friday next door. It is very close by from Albrook and Dorado Mall It is very easy to get an uber or taxi. You can even walks to coffee stores and some restaurant.

Location was perfect, front desk was exceptionally fast and friendly for checking in, checking out and helping me with with printing, transportation service from the PTY airport and back was fast, secure and comfortable, the servers at the restaurants were very attentive, and I was extremely grateful how the front desk personnel called me and arrange to get to me what I left behind in my room. They took really good care of me!!

Llegamos ayer y estaremos aquí hasta el lunes… Desde que llegamos la experiencia ha sido PÉSIMA… cambiadas 4 veces de habitación. La primera en el piso 5 con las camas revueltas, baño sucio, no la habían limpiado … bajamos a recepción nos dieron otra en piso 14… llegamos y la alfombra con pedazos de gypsum, sin espejos, cortinas, respaldares en las camas, sin coffe maker, plancha, secadora para cabello, lámparas … los cuadros en el piso… nos volvieron a cambiar a otra en piso 12 y la habitación estaba peor, sin apagadores, ni grifos en los baños… volvimos a bajar y nos dijeron que ahorita nos daban habitación que tuviéramos paciencia … tuvimos una paciencia de 3 horas y al fin nos dieron la misma habitación del piso 5 pero al menos ya limpia… seguimos sin coffee maker, ni plancha… y el llavín de la puerta no sirve… desde ayer lo reportamos pero no lo han arreglado entonces no hemos podido salir de compras… nos fuimos a desayunar dejando el cuarto abierto, el desayuno terminaba a la las 10 llegamos a las 9:05 am y había fila de gente esperando el desayuno, nos dijeron que ahorita traerían más pero esperamos 40 minutos para que al final nos dijeran que ya no iban a traer más entonces nos fuimos con dos tortillas de desayuno. Bajamos a recepción a las 9:50 a poner la queja del desayuno, la plancha, el coffee maker y el llavín y el recepcionista con muy mala actitud nos dijo que iba a poner el reporte de lo del desayuno pero que no nos hiciéramos ilusiones con la plancha porque no tenían, que el llavín subían en 5 minutos a arreglarlo y ya son las 10:50 y aún no hemos podido ir a ningún lado. Este hotel no está capacitado para tener ocupación completa.

We are very happy to have found this property, the rainforest right outside the city. We split our stay in Panama between Panama City and the rainforest and this hotel did not disappoint. Our balcony overlooked the forest and every morning we opened our door to hear the birds, frogs, and one morning, a howler monkey. We took advantage of the tours to see the sloths, butterflies, frogs and the other animals whose habitat is the golf and resort property. There are very nice trails you can explore on your own or sign up for a guided tour. We also took advantage of the shuttle to go to the Parque Metropolitan where we spent more time in the natural beauty of Panama. I highly recommend adding this stop to a trip around Panama City to see the natural side of the area. The hotel does need updating. As with a lot of places, the place probably suffered during the pandemic. However, every member of the staff we came in contact with went above and beyond to make us comfortable. They were very kind and accommodating, and very helpful since we do not speak Spanish and sometimes that was a challenge. I highly recommend this property and look forward to returning.

This was the favorite part of our family trip. 6 nights - great food, wildlife GALORE! Monkeys - 3 different kinds! - , toucans, agoutis, capybara, alligators, turtles, owls, porcupine, birds - it was amazing. The highlight every night was the free night safari. We just loved this place!
