Picked this hotel as the one we have stayed in before was closed and it is really easy to find when you get off the ferry. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Had a few questions before we arrived and the hotel was really helpful. As someone else has put its not in the greatest of locations but once inside the hotel you forget all about that. Felt safe and at ease with the covid restrictions, the room was lovely, large, spacious lovely sea view, the bathroom was also lovely with a great shower. A very modern room. Even managed to watch English football which was a massive plus. Food in the hotel restaurant was fantastic and very reasonably priced. My wifes starter was more like a starter for two. This was our first time here and we will definitely be back and would recommend it to anyone

Great hotel, lovely rooms, we had a front facing room with balcony. Breakfast was varied and very good. Majority of staff were fabulous, a couple were a bit unfriendly (maybe they were overworked and busy). The pool was a real highlight. I would definitely stay here again.

The rooms at Hotel Fortuna are simple and basic - with a desk, bed & wardrobe. My room had a small balcony. The bathroom was decent-sized. For the price, it was worth it. Pros - directly opposite Ancona station. Stay here if you need to get to other destinations in the region by train. Connectivity to the old town is convenient with frequent bus services from the station. It is not walkable so you will need to take public transport. There is a coffee shop next door where you can buy bus tickets. - Polite staff who spoke English well. - Housekeeping did a good job. - Great water pressure which was nice and hot. No kettle in the room so used the hot water to make tea. - Comfortable bed and pillows Cons - Air conditioning was set to ‘Heat’ as it’s not yet summer. Visited in May so the room can get stuffy during the day unless you leave the balcony door open. - No kettle or mini fridge in the room. - The wifi was intermittent during my 2-night stay. - A single plug point near the bed. Carry a multi-plug adapter if you need to charge multiple devices. - Not much in the area for food. - Room keys are clunky and inconvenient to carry around.

Service was exceptional, breakfast was abundant, you can order more or less anything you want. Room was clean, bed was really comfortable & shower was amazing! We used the private spa, nice when the weather is poor but will cost €50 per person. Also had a massage and facial which was really relaxing. Unfortunately the pool is seasonal and we didn’t get to use that, I imagine it would also be too their high standards. Beach is a 2 minute walk away with options for aperitivo or lunch & dinner. Yup can also eat lunch & dinner in the hotel at an extra cost. Staff are really friendly & helpful if necessary.

Su rpoposta di amici siamo stati presso la struttura per un fine settimana... arrivati ci troviamo una bella hall...gentilissima la ragazza, e qua mi fermo... arrivati in stanza notiamo subito la scarsa pulizia della stessa, ragnatele e polvere dappertutto, il bagno finestrato ma box doccia arrugginito doccia vetusta..lasciamo perdere tanto e solo una notte...arriva il momento della cena...NESSUN ANTIPASTO un solo primo, un secondo un controno e caffè STOP...colazione discreta..... la mia recensione e scarsa perche oltre a quello descritto, ci sono due cose che a mio parere non vanno assolutamente fatte..la prima riguarda gli animali..quando si dice accettiamo animali..non si puo poi dire che non si possono portare al ristorante oppure non avere spiaggia attrezzata.. in secondo comunicare al momento della prenotazione che il ristorante i giorni festivi e chiuso e che la cena sarà servito presso un bagno convenzionato...insomma essere più chiari...

Prenotato per ferie confermate all'ultimo momento tramite un motore di ricerca e quindi alla cieca.Bellissima sorpresa nello scoprire assoluta aderenza tra prenotazione e camera assegnata,e non è una cosa così scontata,fidatevi(vita vissuta....).Personale gentilissimo.Pulizia assoluta.Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo.La colazione è ottima:latte fresco in bottiglia di vetro(anche di diversi tipi come senza lattosio,avena,etc);yoghurt fresco,in due versioni,strabuono (oltre a quello in vasetti confezionati);succhi vari;marmellate vari;miele in dispenser + miele da favo direttamente da mangiare;cereali e semi vari,compreso cioccolato in anellini;4 tipi di frutta di stagione,a rotazione,kiwi,anguria,melone,macedonia ma non quella dei barattoli,fresca,tagliata a mano,pesche;salumi vari;uova sode e strapazzate;pani di diversa foggia e natura;dolci vari,torte,ciambelloni,biscotti,brioches con diverse farciture oltre che vuote.Ovviamente poi servizio bar.Per me la colazione in albergo è il pasto che preferisco e qui è buonissimo.
Se proprio dovessi trovare una piccola pecca,considerando che nelle vicinanze non mancherebbero fornitori genuini (leggi contadini),se mettessero anche uova fresche da poter appena scottare e mangiare pucciandoci le fettine di pane tostato,tagliate sottili.
Lo consigliamo vivamente e credo che sarà la ns tappa per tutti i viaggi nelle Marche,quando parenti e amici non avranno la possibilità di ospitarci

Service was outstanding and on-point across the board with all personnel and every aspect. Accommodation was impeccable and comfortable, we loved sleeping with the windows open and hearing the sea. We appreciated we had a little coffee/tea station in our room and a mini refrigerator. The size of the room was very comfortable. We enjoyed seeing how happy the housekeeping team was and how professional they were. The food and service was amazing. Breakfast was a beautifully displayed gourmet buffet with a lovely selection to accommodate all dietary considerations and restrictions including hot and cold items, freshly prepared breads and pastries as well as a fresh selection of fruit. The buffet was well maintained throughout the breakfast timeframe. The staff coverage was perfect with always having a team of three or four: one exclusively at the coffee station to prepare any type of coffee you ordered and then served by professional wait staff; one person as bus and the other sometimes just on buffet to ensure everything was topped up and visually pleasing. Dinners were always special and the wait staff and team lead executed impeccable service. They understood the art of service. It was a pleasure to dine. Reception and concierge services were lovely, engaging, and enjoyable. Others employed by the hotel were professional and confident in their roles. Excellent team, always accommodating. The location is safe with full coverage security, quiet, and peaceful. The grounds were beautifully maintained. My husband and I would return again.
