Hotel berhampiran İpek Parki, Ankara

Odd title for this hotel, but you cannot believe how much of a struggle it is to find this hotel online even after it was booked for us! First of all, it is a generic name - Ankara and Hotel feature prominently in the name in which there are hundreds of hotels in Ankara and you are bombarded with ads or other hotels. Secondly, I am great at such things and finding out and even I struggled. Thirdly, it was worse when we were in Turkey as the websites all come up in Turkish and you spend valuable time translating etc on a cell phone with data! If you cannot rename it, add a unique identifier to it. Second gripe and the final one - this hotel is right outside the main train station at Ankara. We arrived by train from Istanbul, presumably a popular way for people to come to this hotel. Was there a single sign on the station? Nope.. Misleadingly, an elevator on one side of the station has a huge sign outside displaying an ad/banner for this which could be taken as the elevator to the hotel. Nope! It just goes down to the ground floor. So you have to exit the station, turn left and keep walking past some cafes and then come to the entrance. Once you are there, the hotel is magnificent, modern and spacious in every way. Staff is courteous and the onsite restaurant looks good though we did not use it. The rooms are very modern with every comfort, fancy buttons to set room status to buys, do not disturb, please clean etc etc. There are many empty well laid out floors with seating areas etc so you do not have to sit in your room. An office/working area too if you so wish. All in all, great value, excellent facilities, great staff, just let down by the previous two gripes.

Yol üzeri bir gece konakladığımiz bir oteldi.Fiyat performans açısından oldukça iyi bir otel. Otoparkı var, odası tertemizdi çarşaflar mis gibi kokuyordu. Klimalar oldukça iyi durumda. Kahvaltıyi kendileri getiriyorlar farklı bir isteğiniz varsa da soylediginizde yapıyorlar. Biz çok memnun kaldık. Bir sonraki Ankara ziyaretimizde tekrar konaklayacağımiz bir otel.

We stayed at the hotel and were very happy with the service. The employees were very happy helpful especially the sales manager Nurettin Mutlugün. He was very kind, helpful and caring. I would recommend his services and the hotel to everyone. He was very nice and caring. Thank you once again Nurettin Mutlugün.

Внезапно оказалось что отель в центре города. В 600 метрах Старбакс и напротив него SR Doner – очень вкусная шаурма. В полутора километрах замок Анкара. Завтраки не разнообразные, так себе, но есть можно. Вроде бы бесплатно чай наливают в течение дня по запросу в баре на первом. Но рядом был Старбакс, ходил туда за апельсиновым соком и латте.

We had a great time ，The staff were so friendly and helpful, it was social, and we met some amazing people during our stay. I loved the roof top terrace and the rooms were nice and big, and the breakfast was yum. My only issue was the location, all the restaurants near by are very overpriced and touristy, so you do need to be prepared to walk a bit out of the area for a cheaper meal. Personal an der Rezeption war freundlich, Flure im Hotel ziemlich dreckig, das Zimmer war ein wenig sauberer aber man hat an den Spiegeln gesehen, dass nicht mit sauberem Wasser geputzt wurde (überall Schlieren). Immerhin war die Bettwaeche sauber. Leider wurde nur 1 Handtuch für 2 Personen bereitgestellt aber auf Nachfrage noch ein paar nachgereicht. Klimaanlage ging nicht und auf Nachfrage ist hier auch nichts passiert. Nachts ist es sehr laut aufgrund der anliegenden Bars und deshalb bis ca 1.30 Uhr morgens nur schwer an Schlaf zu denken. Top ist jedoch die Lage direkt an der Fußgängerzone und es gab Parkplätze vor Ort.

I had a love-hate experience with this hotel. I love its sense of luxury (except their SPA which can be better), and at the same time i hate the experience with the safety box incidence in my room which leads to the damage of my limited collection Timberland leather bag. But then i love the way they handled the incidence. After a series of negotiation, they bought me to a Panora Mall and let me choose a Tommy Hilfiger bag as a replacement. Of course the negotiation was not easy, but i congratulate them for finally deciding to do what is right to make a customer happy. Special thanks go to Mr Murak (one of the managers) who accompanied me to the mall and buy a new bag. When the incidence happened, i complained to three Managers, but only Mr Murak had the sense of empathy and followed up with this case closely till the top management of the hotel came down to tell me the good news of bag replacement. Thank you Mr Murak and team!

Harika otel 🙂 guleryuzle karsilandim. Guleryuzle devam etti tum konaklamam. ☀️☀️☀️ Oda ferah genis. Banyo acayip temiz. Tum havlular koyulmus. Sicak su hic kesintisiz geldi. Bazi yerlerde sicak su problemi yasamistim... Odada kettle, cay kahve paketleri var. Minibar var. Carsaflar temiz. Mobilya yeni ve cok modern guzel. Kahvaltisi tabakta veriliyor. İyidir. Doyurucu .kahvalti boluminde calisan bayan (hemde benim hemserim Azerbaycanli 😊🇦🇿🇹🇷) asiri guleryuzlu. Resepsyonda giris yaparken resepsyon bayan ve bellboy beyefendi cok mehribandilar.
