The location of the hotel is on the side of the busy road. There will be noise from stepping on the floor of the room, and the sound insulation is not very good. The breakfast is like scrambled eggs after 8 o'clock. It has been taken out and no refills have been made, but the price is already ok.

The hotel is not bad, it has a pool that is appreciated but it is a bit far from the town to dine. It seems that they have done it recently, it still has paint from the tile work, the bathroom is very small.

The lobby waiter I ordered online keeps asking me how much JD, can’t I convert it myself? The room given is not a sea view room at all, and there is only a small window on the wall. It is said that the price is not right, so it is still written like this on the Internet? Breakfast plus 5JD

My Jordanian wife tried to book this hotel to stay with her nieces and nephews. Management replied asking for a marriage contract! Unbelievable! C'mon guys - it's time emerge into the 21st century. Aqaba is a holiday place and you're there to give people pleasure not to check on whether they are married or not! Time I think to abandon this very, very silly requirement. My wife of course cancelled.

Great Stay at Alena Hotel – Would Return! We had a fantastic four-night stay at Alena Hotel during Ramadan and were very pleased with our experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were professional, helpful, and accommodating, ensuring we had everything we needed. Breakfast was adequate, offering a good variety, including a traditional Arab-style breakfast. There was also a live cooking station where a chef prepared fresh omelets to order. The open deck provided a lovely setting to enjoy the morning meal while taking in the beautiful weather. Despite Ramadan being a challenging time for staff, they handled everything with grace and efficiency. Our family of six stayed in two connecting rooms, which were spacious and well-equipped. The beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of storage for our belongings. Each room included a fridge, TV, and air conditioning, making our stay even more convenient. Housekeeping did a great job keeping the rooms clean and well-stocked. The swimming pool, while small, was sufficient for a quick dip and a refreshing break from the warmth. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was welcoming and relaxing. A special mention to the receptionist, who was always cheerful and eager to assist with anything we needed. The deal we got during Ramadan made our stay even more worthwhile. We would definitely return and recommend Alena Hotel for a comfortable and well-managed stay!

- Sandy floors through the whole hotel (probably because it ia surrounded by construction sites) - Bathroom turns quickly into a swimming pool. - Heated rooftop pool reaches only 13°C. - Breakfast is available in the windowless cellar of an other hotel in the neighbourhood. - The breakfast is misable for a 4* Hotel: no fruits, no musli, toast but no toaster, therefore three kinds of humus (fresh, old & old mixed with leftovers).

We spent 1 night at Alena as part of a week-long tour of Jordan. This hotel is newly built and we wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt based on a few positive reviews via booking platforms, but were left disappointed. Rooms are well-sized but the standard of workmanship is really poor - half finished bathrooms and fixtures, poorly designed rooms (e.g the tv is facing the window so you have to stand to use it), building materials left in stairwells, and light fixtures missing. For the price it is acceptable if you need a bed for the night, but there are far better options in Aqaba. The hotel is on a derelict street with an unsafe feel. We won’t be back.

Amazing hotel …I really felt comfortable the whole stay…...My room was in a sea view , it was a nice one and the swimming pool is cute😻. If I will come next time to Aqaba absolutely I will spend my stay again on it.
