The hotel is around 1.5 km away from the airport and free shuttle bus to the airport is provided. You don’t have to arrange in advance because it comes very frequently (every 15 minutes). But I did miss the Bus because I didn’t check out the bus departure board to know which bus stop.
We arrived late (late for Sweden-standard which is almost 9pm) at Terminal 2 arrival and the WH Smith was already closed. There were no shops/restaurants at the vicinity of the hotel and my only option was the hotel restaurant/room service.
There were clementines and free water provided though. But it seems that the water bottles in the mini bar in the room are only free for Radisson Rewards members.
When checking-in at the hotel, there was long queue so I decided to use the automatic kiosk. However, I was assigned a bad room (located at another building) and I couldn’t find the room. So we went to the human reception and he assigned us a better room.
All in all, even though the check-in process was long, at least I learned how to check-in using a kiosk.
The bed was comfortable but I do miss the old experience of just watching TVs in the hotel room. The TV was not connected to local tv channels and therefore our only option was to use the Chromecast and then watch Netflix.
The next day, we just checked out online and then dropped off the card at the reception and took the bus to the airport. It was in December so the whole place was covered in snow. Still very magical!
