Hotel Arlington dengan Kolam Renang

After traveling across the state we were looking forward to a good night’s sleep. This facility has a quiet location yet freeway access is still easy. Front desk gal was very nice. Hallway had that fresh paint smell. Room was nice…….until we folded back the quilt. I was all set to crawl into bed but one look at sheets stopped me cold. I took a few pictures & took them to the front desk. I was told ‘if the sheets don’t come out of the dryer in a timely manner, wrinkles set in’. But she was happy to give me fresh sheets. Yes please. I took a picture after we made the bed (a first ever for us. And we do a fair amount of traveling). I planned to talk with the manager in the morning (as suggested by front desk person). The line was 5 parties deep (also a first). I’ve included the pictures. You judge.

This hotel is under new management (July 2023)- the property was recently sold- a lot of changes taking place. I made the reservation months ago with ***********. When I arrived, the room price had dropped but they wouldn't help me with a reduction that was on their own website. Always check the price a day or two before arriving in case it changes. The pool was OK but I didn't use it. The hot tub jets were not working but the tub was hot. The breakfast was OK -however the first day I checked in, there were two police incidents. I stayed here because of the convenience of visiting family that lived nearby but this hotel did not live up to my safety expectations. I also think they had a few long term tenants instead of guests. For one night passing through town, I guess it's OK but I stayed 6 days to visit my family. Also, first floor carpets could use a cleaning- this is a pet friendly hotel- so if you want a pet free room, ask for one upstairs. There are 3 floors. The bed, pillows and TV service was good but there were dog scratches on my door so I knew it was a pet room. I hope they can get this place up to nicer standards. It was a Wyndham hotel, don't know why it failed as a chain hotel. It is right off highway 5 and I could hear the traffic at night in the back room.
