Very good food with alot of variety. Clean, spacious and hassle free double room. Friendly staff and Management very visible all the time. Both pools clean and well mended. Spa was definitely on my wife's taste. Very close to the beach on a 5 min walk. My twins were very happy and entertained. Will definitely recommend!!!

Never had a hot meal in ten days, please don't attempt to eat the chicken ,almost raw in the middle , a restaurant that cannot keep soup warm has a real problem, I have never seen a breakfast as poor in my life, whatever it is that is supposed to pass as bacon I have no idea, if you like cold scrambled egg and cold baked beans you will be fine. Never again.... shocking.

Lovely hotel - perfectly clean - comfortable rooms - plentiful fresh food at mealtimes. Only negative is the overall town/ resort is rather dated although it looks like there’s some investment in the promenade going on. Nice Sandy beach only a couple of minutes walk away.

Returned last Thursday from this hotel. This was our second time in this resort. Fabulous location 5 mins ftom lovely sandy beach. My friend and I did mainly go to the Beach as we love it. The sea was freezing this year which was a shame wasn't last year. Hotel rooms are lovely asked for a kettle which was supplied straight away. Fridge in room which is stocked daily. Lots of sun beds round pool. Great breakfast had freshly cooked omelette, lovely croissants and roll's, good choice. We loved the snack bar, great smoked salmon baguettes and toasties oh and pastries. Lovely ice creams all in. Really good value for money this hotel. Great location. Staff so helpful and polite. My dad and I are currently on day 6 of our father/daughter holiday at this lovely hotel, from the start the staff have been warm, welcoming and attentive. The rooms are of a very good standard and beds are made daily, towels changed etc, we have a pool view which is very nice and can also see the sea! All the communal areas of this hotel are well maintained, tables cleared quickly in the restaurant, everywhere is very clean, glasses and rubbish collected regularly around the pool etc. I was worried after reading the reviews that being a vegetarian I would be living off salad and chips for a week but there have been very good vegetarian options at all mealtimes and I've thoroughly enjoyed the food available, hot, lots of variety and super tasty! We also got to enjoy the a la carte restaurant for Father's day included in our stay and this gave a different experience with again gorgeous food! The location of the hotel is perfect, not a long commute, over the road from the beach, close to the town centre and centrally located for those wanting to hop in a car/on a bus to explore the local cities. The drinks on the all inclusive are of good quality and of course endless supply! My only criticism would be that the evening entertainment hasn't been great some evenings but that may be different in months where it is busier as most nights there were not many people sitting in the bar where the entertainment was as there are options of sitting outside or in the dedicated Euros football 'fan zone' (which was a nice touch). Overall this has been a fantastic stay and I'm already looking to come next year and bring my husband and 3 kids as I think they will love it! Would really recommend!

Just back from a 10 day stay at Vila Gale Nautico. Can't really add any more to all the positive reviews. Hotel is very clean, the staff are really friendly. Hotel Manager was always on hand to make sure things ran smoothly. Meals in the restaurant are really good and the "theme" nights are great. Particularly liked the Portuguese night but loved seafood night which had fresh oysters, clams, razor clams, prawns (beautiful). Pool area is again well kept with plenty of lounges available. The heated indoor pool is nice. The food in the snack bar is cooked to order but you ever had to wait too long and its prepared very well. Good choice of drinks. Vila Gale group own their own vineyards ( Santa Vitoria) so the wines are excellent. Safe in the room is chargeable at 2.50 euro per night. There's a little road train which stops outside the hotel that takes you around the area of Armacao de Pera. You can hop on/off for 4 euro each. Theres a nice beach literally across the road from the hotel with sunbeds and umbrellas to hire. A stroll along the promenade will take you toward the town which is nice and you can always go in the other direction along the cliff top (I've attached some pictures) Hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did.

♥ Pros: This was my first holiday abroad. I went with my fiancé and can happily say, I was not disappointed. Great holiday, only a 5 minute walk to the beach. Close to shops and lots to do around the hotel. It was all inclusive. Great food & drinks (Loved the cocktails of the day!). We mostly ate our weight in food, drank cocktails and sat by the pool soaking up the sun. When we weren't relaxing by the pool, we walked down to the beach or went shopping. We did a excursion on a boat to see the caves & dolphins (Unfortunately, we didn't get to see the dolphins but was still a lovely part of the holiday!) All in all, great hotel, great food, great drinks and great holiday! Staff were really nice and great service at breakfast, lunch & dinner! *** Bonus: It was my birthday when we went here and they left a chocolate cake + wine in our bedroom with a cute birthday note! ☺ *** Cons: • Had to pay extra to use the safe (€2 per day!) • No kettle but all we had to do was ask reception. Asked in the morning around 8am but they didn't actually drop of the kettle until 4pm and only gave us decaf coffee (There was also a variety of teas). It was our last day and we already went twice to reception to ask about the kettle so didn't want to go back a third time to ask for normal coffee rather than decaf. • I did call reception and ask if the mini fridge could be filled with pepsi max rather than pepsi to which they confirmed they will do this on the following day but they continued to refill the mini fridge with pepsi rather than my request of pepsi max. (I did only ask once but wasn't really fussed to ask a second time).

Hotel was very clean and staff were very good, could not fault the place for that, thought the food was average at best but found something daily but had to look hard, the Italian restaurant was very good and worth booking once a week free. Entertainment was for kids and poor for couples but the staff did their best on a limited budget if they had a budget. Some British families made the most of the AI leaving food all over their area and on the floor and sun beds daily, even stubbing cigs on the table, once again the staff got on with the cleaning with out a moan, remarkably. Overall would not go back but if I had children under the age of 10 then all good.

Such a lovely hotel .spotless and staff were .so friendly. Room's very comfortable and cleaned daily .bottled water free everyday. Food was lovely..snack bar was brilliant lovely hot food to order .also given milk to take up to room when we needed deffinatly going back .

Absolutely blown away by the hospitality and professionalism here. Arrived at midnight to find a fresh food platter waiting in our room. The rooms are incredibly spacious; we stayed in an apartment with our twins, complete with a large balcony overlooking the sea. Housekeeping kept the room spotless daily, and the shower was fantastic—great water pressure and high-quality, fragrant shampoo and shower gel. The food was outstanding, with a wide range of local and European dishes to choose from. The staff couldn’t have been friendlier, and management was always around. I can’t recommend this place enough!

We would like to agree on all the positives of the hotel & where the hotel is positioned close to a beautiful long beach with plenty of seashells. The safe is of the date we posted this at £17 per week. We found the food good enough for us and the cleaners all worked hard to keep the place clean. Yes the room needs more lighting and a plug socket near the wall mirror is a must for the ladies getting ready with their curlers. Bed mattresses could be a little more comfortable. If you're going you should like if you had the same experience as we did. Stayed 19-26 Oct 24.

Best points were the friendly and efficient staff Ayla and Paula were so helpful along with Brigitta and a young girl in reception who helped to try and find a lost item. Everywhere clean, rooms the same I liked the nautical theme although lights could be better in the rooms. Beds at least for us were far too firm and I hate lumpy pillows. Food was fine especially the fish and meat cooked on the hot plate to order and omelette at breakfast was yummy. The burgers and snacks by the pool were very good and again the staff even so busy vere very nice.Basically I'm sure everyone can find something they like to eat. A few children as out of season seemed to be enjoying themselves. To be fair I think the hotel lends itself to being a half board adults only. Entertainment stopped at 11 pm, not into that so can't say what it was like. I would say the average age was 50. In the area it's a short walk to a lovely beach, bars any restaurants. Finally there are piggy money boxes for tips and the staff really deserve a contribution. Yes, I would do a return visit. Hope this is helpful.

A lovely stay from the moment we arrived all the staff were very friendly from reception to cleaners. Hotel is spotless. Beds very comfy. Bathroom could use a hand rail to exit bath. Tea making facilities would also be good. Food plentiful and various choices, but often only luke warm, especially the soup. The entertainment team are very talented especially with the dancing. Solo singer on Sunday’s, was excellent, but it would have been nice if the piped music was turned off whilst entertainment was on outside. Also it would be nice if the entertainment could start at 9 pm. The hotel is in an excellent location, 7 min from the nearest beach, which then continues all the way along, up to and past the fishing boats. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would definitely come back

We stayed here from thur to mon on a four night break Check in was early and easy, the room was very clean and comfortable, only thing missing was tea and coffee making facilities for that early morning cuppa. Breakfast was great and our favourite meal. Lunch was ok, I think the snacks were lots better. Dinner wasn’t so good, a bit mish mash, on our last night we ate out. Drinks were fine, typical all inclusive. Staff in the pool bar were always smiling and friendly. Pool area was clean. No issues. Entertainment was lacking but not really our thing anyway. Armacia de Pêra is beautiful, safe and clean, lots of places to eat and drink and as two women we felt completely safe night and day. The beach is beautiful. Cocktails at the beach bar are not to be missed. We would return in a heartbeat, not only to the hotel but to the area. Great location
