The entrance to the hotel grounds is hampered by a nearby McDonald's drive-thru. The staff were friendly and the beds were fine. Shower was old fashioned hook up to the taps but was easy to operate. The windows did a poor job of keeping out the cold and had to have the heaters on. Breakfast was not great, take a porridge pot or breakfast bars rather than spend the £8 for their efforts. The full English buffet whilst offering a variety of food was overcooked and even getting down early for the breakfast it was obvious the food had been in the heated trays for a while. The continental option is a joke. There are 4 types of cereals with muesli being the only healthy option. Toast. Mini muffins and flavoured yogurt. Granted the yogurt has a fat free option. What I expected with a continental was a plain yogurt with a selection of sliced fresh fruits, croissants and breakfast pastries... None in sight. Other than the disappointing breakfast the stay was okay, it is close to a nice steak house and the beach.

Staff service was average, room was large and clean, a bit out of the way but very cheap and cheerful. Didn’t try the food but the vending machine was well stocked

Check-In was a breeze. Room came with fan (which is a god send in these humid evenings). Provided with more bottled water in the evening after finishing the water provided within the room. Pros: Very hospitable / provided extras / overall friendly service Cons: No mini fridge in room (I often bring snacks and drinks for my stay). Extended my check-out for £25.00 from 11am til 1pm . Breakfast is £12.50 per person, but we opted out after eating at the Italian restaurant across the street (very filling).

Went as a couple for 1 night. Upgraded to a superior room upon discovering the room which was not cleaned. Breakfast was good, outdoor pool, sauna and a bar/restaurant area for a few drinks in the evening Overall a good stay, would recommend

Saturday night stay for 2 expecting a quiet night to break up a 700 mile journey. Room, food and facilities generally good. However the hotel hosts events and there was a very noisy party hosted on the night of our stay with disco music until midnight. This was unexpected and ruined our quiet night. Reception advised that the party was a last minute booking and they would usually call guests to offer cancellation if it was a problem but had not had time or overlooked calling us. For those wanting a quiet night, it would be prudent to check that there is no similar event on the night they wish to book.
