We are greeted warmly when we arrive. Love the classic building and look out from the window. Food is nice and Private onsen is wonderful. We see our shoes drying next to the fire place, thank you so much to the Hotel lady in being so caring.

房間比較細 但有馬刺身 早餐還好 不過是間好有日本情懷既民宿 溫泉♨️比較小型同係無自己房

優質的溫泉民宿，不論是環境、溫泉或是自家料理都令人舒心愉悅。

令人驚艷的日式旅館，離阿蘇站步行十分鐘，晚餐很豐富，還可預約風呂，下回來阿蘇還是會選擇住這家的旅館。

This is what a classic ryokan should be for me. Not too big with 11 rooms in total. Beautiful wooden structure from a 300 year old building that was relocated to this site. The food was truly excellent for dinner as well as for breakfast. Served in a magnificent dinner hall at low tables. You have to help yourself to the rice and do the barbecue also yourself. The crampy leg situation makes it a true Japanese experience 😬. The choice of pickles is splendid which especially pleased my wife. The bathes are small but very nice. There are 2 bookable family tubs and 2 larger Men/Women general admission baths. There is a good selection of yukata's in all sizes. You have to make your own futon at night. This place is in a lovely village type neighborhood. It may not have the grand views like some other ryokans but for this price it is an absolute steal. I hope to be able to come back again.
