Excellent modern hotel in the great location, near two shopping malls and restaurants Great , supportive people work there This is my second stay , I would highly recommend this hotel.

I stayed at the Aloft 4 nights. I had planned to stay at the Sheraton across the street, but, they closed for renovations about two weeks prior to my arrival. I received some benefits as a Marriott Bonvoy member at the Aloft. The Aloft's location was excellent [5.0], as it was located in the safe, modern area of Asuncion, within walking distance to two major shopping malls. The hotel is a typical Aloft that you would see anywhere in the world: basic offerings with a modern design. They are too basic for my needs, but, I really had no other choice given the short notice of the Sheraton closing. The assigned room [1001] was poor [0.0], primarily due to noise from the hotel's rooftop club that permeated throughout the hotel. Thus, I had to move to a room on a lower floor [0105]; I could still heard the music vibration on the first floor, but, fortunately, the AC fan drowned it out. Loud, rooftop clubs are a big thing nowadays around the world, and I just wish owners would choose to be a club or a hotel, not both. Both rooms were in typical Aloft style: small, basic, clean with comfortable beds, but, no chairs to sit. Although both rooms were in the back of the hotel, street noise could still be hear. The bathrooms were small, but, the shower water pressure and temperature were great. Both rooms were showing wear and tear, particularly with the carpets and bathroom tiles. The AC worked great. Staff service was excellent [5.0] throughout the entire hotel. English was widely spoken by most staff members, particularly at reception, which is always very much appreciated! Most staff were friendly and approachable. The breakfast buffet was good [4.1], but not great. However, as is typical of Aloft hotels, there was an assortment of typical breakfast items, including processed food, fruit, bakery items, eggs, bread, yogurt, etc. For me, the eggs tasted strange and the coffee, which was provided in tall mugs [love that], also tasted strange. Service in the breakfast area was excellent. The rooftop gym facility was fair [3.0], had I used it. But, I didn't use it because it was rather basic and small. I did sit at the rooftop lounge one afternoon. However, I didn't stay long, because a drunken family was playing music from their boombox at full volume. It really was disturbing; hotel staff did nothing.

Excellent location next to a shopping mall and only 15 minutes (without traffic)from the airport. Service although my “elite” status wasn’t honored still is great ! Rooms are spacious, clean with all the creature comforts you’ll expect from any Marriott property. There’s a surcharge for breakfast, if you don’t want this choice right next door at the mall there’s plenty of options and the price difference is not that much ! Please don’t !! Skip the “chipa” a traditional Paraguayuan cheesebread , absolutely delicious 😋. The rooftop comes with nice vistas and a wonderful pool to battle the intense heat of the summer! Great choice and price ! Personnel very attentive.

In Asuncion for three nights, we reserved in Aloft. 15 mins from Airport, next to shopping center Sol, and good restaurantes. The rooms are Aloft standards and pretty new, they have a great outdoor Terrace with Pool with a beautiful view of the city. Recommended.

The Aloft Asuncion is in a nice area of the city almost next to a shopping mall and a 10-minute walk to a newer shopping mall. Lots of places to eat nearby, especially at the malls. It's about a 22-minute car ride to see the sights in the historic center. Hotel looked clean and modern. There's a PC and printer in the lobby plus a foosball table. Room was basic with a good bed and good working A/C and heater (it was cold some days.) Liked the in-room kettle with coffee/tea and daily bottles of water. Wi-fi worked fine. I had a great rate that included free daily popcorn and soft drinks. I was on a top floor facing the busy street but noise was minimal. Bathroom was of medium size with a strong shower pressure and liquid soap (small soap bar for the sink area) and combined shampoo/conditioner. Closet was small. TV was a little complicated to use. The hotel has a small pantry near the lobby where you can buy some snacks/drinks. Breakfast was ok with the usual scrambled eggs, sausages (chopped in a tomato sauce), cereal, fruit, yogurt, and a few other items like quesadillas, which bring me to the next point of not having any traditional Paraguayan specialties like mbeju or chipa but instead they had food associated with Mexico But worse was that they served me cold (well, room temperature) coffee, which they then reheated when I brought it to their attention. And continuing with the bad, I requested an early wake up call to have as a backup in case something happened to my cellphone, considering the room did not have an alarm clock, but they forgot to call me! Luckily my cellphone alarm worked fine. The other negative is how slow check-in was but not just for me as I saw this on other occasions when I was getting my free soft drink. The pool on the roof looked nice (did not use). Nevertheless, staff were really pleasant and all things considered, it was a very good value for the money.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel is clean, tidy, well located and friendly staff. We had a twin room, which was of a good size. No slippers or bathrobes provided, you do have a kettle with a few teabags and one coffee pad (not sure why just one for two people). Small fridge and good working airco. Only negative was the sliding door to the toilet/shower, really hard to open from the toilet side. Rooftop pool had great views, nice bar for evening cocktails and a decent bar menu. Breakfast on the ground floor non exciting, very standard corporate hotel breakfast. Staff everywhere friendly and helpful. Reception can provide you with a map of Asuncion. We used Uber to get around, which worked fine Next to the hotel is Del Sol, a western shopping mall - airco and more restaurants

Built in 2015 Aloft Hotel offers 120 rooms over 12 floors and is located next to the DelSol Shopping Mall. Designed modernity like the Moxy hotels, the Aloft focuses on millenniums. Free Wi-Fi and free parking. Staffs are adequate and friendly. At floor 12 you find a small pool, terracce & bar. Our practical room was adequately decorated and furnished, with a good kingsize-bed. The room had a TV on the wall, ironing facility, wardrobe with safe & water boiler, and washbasin. We had a separate bathroom with toilet and shower. The window can’t be opened, you have to rely on airco. All was clean. The buffet breakfast is OK with an acceptable variety. When you like a modern hotel, Aloft is the place for you.

Soy Cubano y felicito grandemente a este establecimiento, todo es super genial, un sueño hecho realidad, las personas que te atienden son gente muy agradable, atenta, cariñosa, siempre preocupados por que te sientas como en casa. Desde Cuba, Felicidades Aloft Asunción.

Increíble!, estuve en el Aloft esta vez ya que el Sheraton de la misma cadena, estaba en mantenimiento. Mucho mejor! gran calidad en el servicio, habitaciones modernas y cómodas, excelente comida y una terraza espectacular! Sonia y Beatriz en la terraza ofrecen un servicio esmerado y muy cuidado, la comida era tan buena que cenamos 4 de 4 días en la terraza, un clima espectacular, ambiente distendido, tragos maravillosos y sobre todo, hacen las cosas con amor. Viviana del Bar lobby, muy simpática, le di varias lecciones de Tequila y Claudia de la cocina prestaba atención muy atenta. Ambas muy simpáticas y atentas. Fernanda de recepción siempre con una sonrisa nos atendió en todo lo que necesitamos. Faltan nombres para agradecer a un staff y estadía maravillosa!. Los felicito, podrían perfectamente ganarse el premio al mejor hotel de Paraguay y por servicio, uno de los mejores de Suramérica!.

J'ai eu un court séjour de 2 nuits à cet hôtel, qui est situé dans un excellent quartier d'Asunción, juste à côté du centre commercial Del Sol. Le check in et le check out furent rapides, et le personnel de la réception était toujours gentil et prêt à aider, même avec un problème que j'ai eu avec mon vol de départ. La chambre était moderne, spacieuse, et très confortable. J'ai bien aimé le stores qui bloquent la lumière, pour une belle nuit de sommeil. À la terrasse il y a un bar, un gym et une piscine, quoique non chauffée, était très agréable. Le petit déjeuner est servi au rez-de-chaussée et était de bonne qualité. La seule chose que j'ai moins aimé fut la lenteur des ascenseurs, mais cela reste un détail. L'important est qu'ils soient bien entretenus, pour la sécurité de tous. Je retournerais à cet hôtel.
