The facilities are old and the beds are poor.

We didn't stay but had a tour based from there. Staff were friendly and went above and beyond to help us on our way even letting us borrow an umbrella when it poured with rain.

Hotel is located very close to metro station and Acropolis&Syntagma Square. Staff is very helpful. Breakfast is the best. Rooms are renovated and comfortable. Free bottle of waters in the room. After making reservation they gave valuable information about transportation from airport. I’d definitely come again.

We stayed in the hotel for a couple of days. Staff were very friendly and helpfull. Our room was really clean and towels were changed every day. Room equipment and furniture were fine and looks nice. Hotel is in the center of city and at the most important street with big traffic. So, everything is in the nearby, however, you have to count with bigger noise.

I chose the Acropolis Museum Boutique Hotel based on the previous reviews and location. If given the option to do it over again, I would not change a thing. It is quaint, intimate, and familiar. Donna is a delight. She helped me so much at the beginning of my stay and set the stage for my vacation. Her hospitality and charm made me feel as though I was home.

Always 10/10 when we stay here. Fantastic welcoming staff. Gorgeous clean rooms. Good choice of breakfast. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else, when we visit Athens. Close to the acropolis, lots of restaurants and bars. Metro close by and plenty of buses. About 40 mins from the airport and 30 mins to the port.

Right up front, I will say the photos are a bit older then what you actually see when you get to the hotel, but do not let that put you off. The beds are comfortable, the rooms and bathrooms clean, sheets and beds comfortable. You cannot see the Acropolis from the hotel, but you can walk to the Acropolis, the museum, and the Plaka within 15 minutes. There are many excellent, non-tourist restuarants surrounding the hotel and the location is just perfect. Perhaps a con is that there is no elevator for two levels so you have to carry your luggage up to recetption and the elevator, but that certainly is no reason not to stay at this quirky little hotel. That's because the best thing, the very best thing, is the staff - we had great help from Donara, Vassilis, and Yannis. Vassilis is a great source of information for things to do and places to eat at - we would return in a heartbeat. Thank you Donara, Vassilis, and Yannis for a wonderful stay, we appreciate your kindness.

The bed was hard and sunken in the middle, making it hard to sleep. Being jet-lagged from our overnight flight, this was a problem. It was the least comfortable bed of the nine different places we stayed during our two week stay in Greece. Otherwise, the hotel was good. The staff were very helpful, answering my emails before our arrival and helping us learn how to get along in Athens. It is just a few minutes walk to the Plaka. It is on a busy street, but the noise is dampened by heavy curtains inside the room and tall pine trees outside the window. The private bath was good by European standards. There was a refrigerator in the room. Breakfast was buffet style and featured much the same options that other hotels provided. Had the bed been comfortable I would have rated the Acropolis Museum Boutique Hotel much more highly.

great location. it is not next door to the acropolis museum but is an easy walk away. staff are all exceptionally helpful. the room is a bit small. breakfast is adequate. the building has charm. the bed was so so. lots of hot water in the shower.
