Hotel berhampiran Archaeological Site of Kerameikos, Athens

Very good: location and cool furniture. Considering the price, I prefer this hotel’s room than A for Athens Acropolis view in lower floor. But in terms of hospitality of receptionists, A for Athens are nicer. In brief, it’s hard to say which is the best 😆.

Really good hotel, close too the centre of athens. Around 20 mins walk to the centre so not so bad. The hotel itself is budget but we loved it, cost room, aircon, TV, bathroom with amazing shower. I would highly recommend this hotel. Perfect base for city exploring. The staff were nice and friendly and the cleaners were nice.

Negative points:Breakfast buffet has less variety of food. It needs to include fruit squeezer and fried eggs. Black people stay nearby. Positive points: location is very good with 2 metro stations, especially omonia where 2 metro lines interact. They are very helpful for tourist to visit interesting places like acropolis. Staff service is excellent. Indian restaurants nearby offer delicious but cheaper food.

Really unprofessional staff at reception, the story is I do join 2 nights meeting event here My group booked 2 nights already without payment (the principal would support 1 night and I must pay 1 night as our agreement) Then I booked for my own 1 night and online paid, remain 1 night that our principal would support Once I arrived for check in, the reception asked for 1 night pay instantly and they couldn't find my name/my husband's name in any booking -- I had never faced an awful situation before (don't check but easy to change, don't care for my information, don't listen to me when I informed the name of group at all) Hotel staff can't find a booking even in trip.com or from the group 😂 then I need to pay 1 night (which the principal will pay later) and he still ask for my booking number in trip.com, so poor practice I have never seen before such a who got all the data but unskilled to check any... It might be a typical person here for no service mind and don't try to understand I take 2 hours to talk and become my fault for duplicate booking....😒 and he ask me for ”how to know I paid in the 2nd night 🙄 ask me to show online statement in my e-banking !?!?!? ,Once I showed he said how to know it is mean to Stanley (statement show the perfect similar of decimal with pay under name trips.com....????) So senselessly staff However I finally got back my money, with the assistance of my Greek colleagues If you have to book here, please don't expect them to be close to standard for a 1 star hotel actually It's one of the most rough service from my experience Good cleaning room, near subway but nothing around, simple amenity

Minus: The toothbrush holder looked very dirty, I would probably give it a deep clean. There were some signs of mold in the shower and the toilet paper holder was loose from the wall. The rain shower head lived a life of its own, very inconsistent with how the water came out, it also took time for the water to warm up. If you care about noise, don't get a room with a street view, the windows really weren't soundproof at all. The location is a bit sketchy at night. I would also recommend the hotel to advertise to people not to waste food at the breakfast buffet because there was A LOT of it by others when we were there. This is a big thing for hotels in the north. Pros: The room looked quite newly renovated. Seems like the hotel was under renovation because when we were there it was a completely different style from the breakfast room to the room. It's probably going to be very pretty when it's finished. Plus for the minibar and kettle in the room. Plus for a separate toilet room and shower room. Great view from the balcony in the room and from the roof terrace. Great, down to earth staff. Also a very good breakfast, I have stayed in many different hotels and this is one of the best breakfasts in Europe for me.

Big recommendation for this hotel. Immaculately clean, fabulous breakfast buffet, wonderful staff in the dining room and reception (friendly and helpful). Little things like the cleaning staff (who were so efficient) leaving our air conditioning on the setting we'd chosen made all the difference. Worth upgrading to deluxe room for the space and jacuzzi bath on the balcony. If I was going to be really picky, I wish they provided bath robes or bigger towels - but I am being picky. It's really well located - so much within walking distance. When we arrived late Sat night/Sun morning, the area was buzzing and crowded with bars, restaurants, and queues for a nightclub. I was concerned about the noise but the double glazing in our room kept the room beautifully quiet for sleep. Loved Athens, loved this hotel - we'll be back.

The room is super tiny. I understand the design impulse to go for the boutique vibe, but way too many furnishings for such a small room, e.g. a record player you will never use taking up so much table space when there is no place to put your luggage — so not very traveler-friendly. The rooftop jacuzzi was cold and appeared to be out of service. The surrounding area is filled with junkies — I saw 3 different people injecting *****, 1 person who appeared to have overdosed, passed out in the middle of the pavement… Honestly Athens hotel prices are too high for what you get in exchange. Thankfully I had a big discount owing to a last-minute booking and my Trip.com membership, otherwise it’s not really worth it to stay here at full price.

Excellent value for money hotel in a fantastic location just a few minutes walk from Athens’ most visited spots. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and spacious and the breakfast buffet was fantastic. No tea/coffee making facilities but I don’t know if that’s normal in Athens, but there is a fridge and great air conditioning. Then roof top bar in their sister hotel Plaka is well worth a visit. Highly recommend.

I booked this hotel on the following key factors: Close to where I want to go. I love to walk to areas, plus there is a metro stop 3 minutes away. Which we used to get to distant places...also when the heat index was high. This used to be a prior hotel, reworked in 2007. An office prior to that and initially a family residence. Pros: - They are really accommodating. We were coming off a cruise ship early in the morning and they stated they would hold our bags so we could go out. As it turned out, our slated room was clean and they let us toss the bags in. They answered questions via email too. They ordered a taxi, which was prompt, to take us to the airport. They have a map you can take and gave recommendations - The included breakfast is good. I like a big breakfast that includes eggs, bread, fruit, yogurt and lots of coffee. - The facility looks a little worn (dull?), but it is nice and it is VERY clean. The beds were very nice too. NOTE: If you have trouble with stairs, you may want to reconsider. There are two flights of about 7 steps to get to registration, and another small flight to an elevator if you need that. We only used it for moving luggage.

I’m so impressed after I checked in this amazing place. Sparkling clean and room is huge. The manager texted me a few times and stopped by in person to greet me and makes sure I m every thing’s good . Self checkin very easy if you following the manager send your instructions message
