I travel a lot, and I know many 4* hotels that are much better than this 5*, the service and facilities do not match the 5*, I was really disappointed. + a great view of the whole Athens (if you pay for it) + always a perfectly tidy room, everything added + a bottle of water in the room every day + a small pool on the roof with a great view + upon request, they changed my pillow that was too high for a more comfortable one - rooms and bathroom quite small (even in the extra room) - only instant coffee in the room, today's modern hotels already have capsule coffee machines everywhere, minibar only by order - the hotel is on a steep, long hill, physically demanding, especially with luggage - breakfast suitable for a 3* hotel, I haven't seen such a small selection for a long time - the luxury hotel restaurant was a big disappointment, although the view was great, but even though I had reserved a table (if you book the table online, they want from you 40 Eur for reservation, this is joke?) and I booked surprise for my husband, because it was his birthday that day, the table was not set at all, let alone ceremonially (they set it up before us and unprofessionally) and no candle in the cake either, I was really furious, they ruined my whole evening. The meat instead of medium was well-done for both dishes, my boiled vegetables and potatoes were completely cold and tasteless. For this money! I can't believe a Michelin chef cooks here.

Have been several times to this hotel and sadly it's ageing too fast... cheap capsules replaced Nespresso, bathrobes show their age, jacuzzi in the pool only partly operational, shower leaking, etc. hotel is fully functional but a refurb would help. Avoid ground floor rooms! Too small to fit a chair (there is none) and have severe problems with ventilation & mold. And these room aren't for free... breakfast remain decent, but for a next stay I will look for a different place.

This is an amazing hotel with an amazing staff. We were greeted and assisted with everything upon our arrival (check-in, bags, etc.) and everyone was very hospitable. The rooms are comfortable and are always clean. We did not use the rooftop pool, but the views were stunning from there (we could see the Acropolis), where they also have a restaurant and a bar. We ate at the restaurant and hung out at the bar some nights which was nice (good food and drinks), but be prepared to pay top hotel prices. The location of the hotel is convenient - it is right across from Syntagma Square, a popular meeting place for many scheduled activities. We also felt we could easily access surrounding neighborhoods, restaurants, and bars by walking from the hotel. Overall a great place to stay!

I traveled here with my sister and adult daughter for a short stay before a cruise. The location is amazing. Hotel is located in a quiet area not far from Acropolis Musem and hop on/off bus stop is 2 blocks away. We had a lovely view of acropolis from our balcony, and I had mentioned it was my daughter's birthday, so we were given a nice fruit basket with other goodies to celebrate. There are a few restaurants nearby and a bakery which has excellent sandwiches. The included breakfast was very filling and offered eggs, sausages, several varieties of breads and rolls, fruit, awesome yoghurt, spanakopita, cereal, juice, and numerous baked goods. The room was very clean and had some storage and a mini fridge. There is a rooftop deck, but the stairs are very narrow. The staff was very friendly and very helpful with offering advice on things to see and giving great directions. The area is very safe and the hotel provides maps and access to guidebooks in their lobby. I would stay here again.

Best Western Plus Embassy Hotel is mid-way between the metro stations of Ambelokipi and Megaro Moussikis, on metro line 3, connecting Athens International Airport to the city centre. Both metro stations can be reached in 7-8 minutes walking from the hotel. The four points I'm giving this hotel are an average between the three points for the room, and the five points for service: - my room was very good and big, with a comfortable bed and a good bathroom, but the room was quite dark and electric lights were needed also during the day. Air conditioning was efficient but noisy, and insulation from outside noise was not good. Luckily enough the hotel is located on a side street with little traffic, so noise from outside was a problem just on early morning, when the works started in the building opposite the hotel. Wi-fi was often very slow and sometimes not available. - Service was very good: staff were efficient and helpful, and breakfast was very good with several choices available.

Close to the Metro station and also to Megaron the Athens Concert Hall and Kolonaki with restaurants and museums in the area. Ideal to use it as a quiet base to explore the city. The rooms are suites style and very nice and large with a hidden kitchenette with 2 hot plates and faucet and great amenities. Staff are very friendly and accommodating with good suggestions. There is a good continental breakfast offered at the hotel. The guests can also use the Crowne Plaza hotel facilities if you want which is a block away. There are plenty of places near the hotel if you want to get breakfast as well. I would definitely recommend it for a family and to explore the Athens city centre. Tip: there is a fridge and snacks in the room but these are all charged including the water. So if you want you can buy things from the local mini market and store them in the room.

L'appartement est plutôt moderne et assez propre. Je suis contente de mon séjour. À notre arrivée, il n'y avait pas de réception donc, il fallait appeler le numéro affiché sur notre réservation. Mais, la personne qui m'a accueilli était sympa, et se montrait disponible. Le seul problème que j'ai rencontré dans cet appartement était l'architecture de la douche. En effet, l'eau débordait car le sol de la douche est le sol de la salle de bain. Puis, le flexible de douche n'est pas très bien mis en place car l'eau coulait de là également mais il n'était pas dérangeant car j'utilisais plutôt la tête de douche que la douchette.
