Have been several times to this hotel and sadly it's ageing too fast... cheap capsules replaced Nespresso, bathrobes show their age, jacuzzi in the pool only partly operational, shower leaking, etc. hotel is fully functional but a refurb would help. Avoid ground floor rooms! Too small to fit a chair (there is none) and have severe problems with ventilation & mold. And these room aren't for free... breakfast remain decent, but for a next stay I will look for a different place.

I travel a lot, and I know many 4* hotels that are much better than this 5*, the service and facilities do not match the 5*, I was really disappointed. + a great view of the whole Athens (if you pay for it) + always a perfectly tidy room, everything added + a bottle of water in the room every day + a small pool on the roof with a great view + upon request, they changed my pillow that was too high for a more comfortable one - rooms and bathroom quite small (even in the extra room) - only instant coffee in the room, today's modern hotels already have capsule coffee machines everywhere, minibar only by order - the hotel is on a steep, long hill, physically demanding, especially with luggage - breakfast suitable for a 3* hotel, I haven't seen such a small selection for a long time - the luxury hotel restaurant was a big disappointment, although the view was great, but even though I had reserved a table (if you book the table online, they want from you 40 Eur for reservation, this is joke?) and I booked surprise for my husband, because it was his birthday that day, the table was not set at all, let alone ceremonially (they set it up before us and unprofessionally) and no candle in the cake either, I was really furious, they ruined my whole evening. The meat instead of medium was well-done for both dishes, my boiled vegetables and potatoes were completely cold and tasteless. For this money! I can't believe a Michelin chef cooks here.

This is an amazing hotel with an amazing staff. We were greeted and assisted with everything upon our arrival (check-in, bags, etc.) and everyone was very hospitable. The rooms are comfortable and are always clean. We did not use the rooftop pool, but the views were stunning from there (we could see the Acropolis), where they also have a restaurant and a bar. We ate at the restaurant and hung out at the bar some nights which was nice (good food and drinks), but be prepared to pay top hotel prices. The location of the hotel is convenient - it is right across from Syntagma Square, a popular meeting place for many scheduled activities. We also felt we could easily access surrounding neighborhoods, restaurants, and bars by walking from the hotel. Overall a great place to stay!

Got a room facing the road and honestly the road noise was just terrible. The building is old but room is renovated and well kept. No frills stay - nothing to shout home about. Don't recommend to stay unless you get a room that faces inwards.

I traveled here with my sister and adult daughter for a short stay before a cruise. The location is amazing. Hotel is located in a quiet area not far from Acropolis Musem and hop on/off bus stop is 2 blocks away. We had a lovely view of acropolis from our balcony, and I had mentioned it was my daughter's birthday, so we were given a nice fruit basket with other goodies to celebrate. There are a few restaurants nearby and a bakery which has excellent sandwiches. The included breakfast was very filling and offered eggs, sausages, several varieties of breads and rolls, fruit, awesome yoghurt, spanakopita, cereal, juice, and numerous baked goods. The room was very clean and had some storage and a mini fridge. There is a rooftop deck, but the stairs are very narrow. The staff was very friendly and very helpful with offering advice on things to see and giving great directions. The area is very safe and the hotel provides maps and access to guidebooks in their lobby. I would stay here again.

This hotel is situated 30 mins walk from the main attractions in a nice area of the city. The tube station is round the corner ( megaro moussikis) which will get you into Monastiraki in 7 mins. I recommend using the metro and it is easy to use with ticket machine in English and it’s cheap. The rooms are cleaned every day , are spacious and are modern. The breakfast is continental and has a wide variety to suit all needs. I would recommend this hotel for couples and families. Any excursions will pick up outside this hotel.

Location is great for multi purposes. Lots of food and coffee shops around . Walking distance to art, music and history places. Great for visits to Evaggelismos hospital. Need upgrade the hair dryer and the fridge also needs to be programmed to be a bit cooler than it is. Clean but the bathroom floor needed a bit more effort (!) - the hose of the hair dryer too, Towels smelled strongly of disinfectant , made you feel safe but not pleasant. Neutral breakfast, basic actually, not for picky eaters but satisfying a hungry stomach. Tv was not offering movies' rental. Wi fi really good for streaming. Helpful staff both front desk , dinning room attendants and handyman/housekeeping. Great touch the sage from Crete at the coffee tray. Toiletries offered a body balm - not bad at all

This is a very nice hotel centrally located in Athens but in a nice quiet street. Close to the Metro station and also to Megaron the Athens Concert Hall and Kolonaki with restaurants and museums in the area. Ideal to use it as a quiet base to explore the city. The rooms are suites style and very nice and large with a hidden kitchenette with 2 hot plates and faucet and great amenities. Staff are very friendly and accommodating with good suggestions. There is a good continental breakfast offered at the hotel. The guests can also use the Crowne Plaza hotel facilities if you want which is a block away. There are plenty of places near the hotel if you want to get breakfast as well. I would definitely recommend it for a family and to explore the Athens city centre. Tip: there is a fridge and snacks in the room but these are all charged including the water. So if you want you can buy things from the local mini market and store them in the room.

I sadly only had one night at this beautiful hotel and cannot say enough wonderful things about my stay. From the moment I walked in I was greeted by friendly and efficient checkin staff who informed me I was given a complimentary upgrade to a suite! When I arrived to my room I was blown away by how beautiful it was aesthetically and there’s even a jacuzzi on the patio which I took full advantage of! I came downstairs to the lobby for their complimentary wine tasting and sampled some amazing Greek wines. From there I went to the rooftop and watched the sunset while sipping on an aperol spritz. After a long travel day I chose to order room service and the Greek salad I had was fantastic. I poured some wine and got in the jacuzzi and it honestly was the most perfect day. I’m so sad I was only at The Modernist for such a short stay but most definitely will make it my home away from home next time in Athens. Thank you to all the wonderful staff for such an amazing stay.

My stay (2nd time in 2 months) was exceptional Starting from the contact to make a reservation to the stay itself. The location is excellent, in the centers boundary, 2 Metro stations within walking distance and taxis available in short time. Access by car easy and special prices at the 24hr Parking place right next to the complex. Τhe personell is professional, assistant, providing high quality and exspirierend services throughout all segments. The rooms are cozy, clean, warm, friendly and minimal decorated in modern stylish way, with a combination of earthly Colours and wood with just enough in-room amenities (bathrobes, Zealots of Nature bathroom amenities, tea - coffee station, Samsung TV with various Greek and foreign Satellite programs, etc) Breakfast as well as Room service offer a variety of Greek tasteful dishes and drinks. For sure I recommend it and will prefer it for my next visit to Athens.

Meja depan juga tidak dibuka 24 jam. Meja depan hanya dikendalikan setelah jam 10 pagi dan ditutup pada jam 6 petang. Semasa saya mendaftar masuk, ada makanan yang ditinggalkan oleh gelombang terakhir tetamu di dalam peti sejuk di dalam bilik.
