The hotel is located in a prosperous part of the city. There is a bathtub in the room, but there is no smart toilet. The sanitary conditions are far inferior to similar hotels in China. This is a common problem in European hotels. I hope it can be improved soon. The hotel breakfast is very good and the service is good.

The room was clean, we booked for Queenbed but the room was double bed. Not a good for couple.
Rest room was bit small. Lift is small and over all the service is good. U can order a drink at the rooftop and they serve u from ground floor.
Location is very ideal. Every landmark is very nearby.

It may be that most of the motorcycles in Athens are modified, and the hotel is located on the main road, so it is quite noisy both during the day and at night. In addition, during the National Day holiday, I feel that it is not as cost-effective as the nearly 3K per night.

The room was nice and modern. We had issues with our room key but the staff were helpful and resolved these. I was unhappy with the breakfast situation as I had read that the hotel do breakfast boxes and so when checking in I asked about this service as we had an early morning flight. I was told that breakfast boxes had to be ordered by 2pm however check in wasn't actually until 3pm. So we ended up out of pocket by having to pay for breakfast twice.

This hotel must be recommended to everyone who comes to Athens! ! ! My husband and I stayed for 7 nights in a row. When we made the reservation, I was a little distressed and thought it was a little expensive, but after we arrived, we found it was worth it!
This is a new hotel with a great location, walking distance to everything and in the bustling city centre. Everything in the hotel room is of high quality, from the barware to the wallpaper to the toiletries. There is a different dessert table in the lobby every day, and all the service staff are wearing exquisite makeup. The aromatherapy in the hotel is very high-end. The room is cleaned very promptly, maybe several times a day. I feel that as soon as I leave and come back, the room will be clean. . Next time I come to Athens, I will stay here again.

The hotel is very clean, the location is good, the breakfast is very good, and the restaurant can see the Acropolis ruins from afar.
The front desk service is very enthusiastic. Because I arrived in the early morning, the taxi driver overcharged me and switched the package for 100 euros. I encountered setbacks when I complained to the police. The front desk assisted in the online complaint, but no feedback has been received so far.

Stay one night there, nice location to all the tourists spots. Can store luggage but not in a room or a private space. The last day morning before checkout, the electricity and water supply ran out without reason, we just messaged the reception but no response.

Getting to the hotel was easy.
There was a man who seemed to be a homeless person in a vacant lot nearby, but there were restaurants nearby so I don't think it was that dangerous.
The staff were very kind and gentle.
The restaurant on the rooftop of the hotel was wonderful!
There was a welcome drink service. It seems to turn into a bar đž at night.
The view from the rooftop was also amazing.
The room was clean. It was compact but spacious enough. There was a refrigerator, kettle, and amenities. It was comfortable.
I would like to stay again if I have the opportunity.

Outstanding
GGuest UserMiraMe has the BEST shower we have ever experienced. THE BEST SHOWER! It comes with four different ' heads ' and the water pressure is extremely powerful so taking a shower after a hot day in Athens was an absolute joy. Usually the rainshower found in most hotels is weak, but MiraMe's jets are very forceful and steady water temperature. The other three ' heads ' are one for the chest, one for the butt and one for the legs. Then there is also one separate hand held shower head on the side. The shower room is spacious and drainage is smooth, and the door seals perfect so there is no worry of a leak. We cannot claim to be hotel experts but for the 30+ odd years of travelling and having stayed in over 60 hotels in many cities, we can vow loud and clear that MiraMe has really sourced the BEST shower model, and other hotels, even other leading hotels in the world should dump theirs and change them into MiraMe's.
Locationwise, MiraMe also is very good. The main shopping districts are just 10 mins walk away where you can find famous brands as well as plenty of shoe shops. In the area are major bus stops , great variety of restaurants, cafes, ice cream parlours, pharmacies and other nice hotels.
The room we had booked is ' deluxe family room with balcony ' that has a short flight of stairs leading to an attic for the 3rd person. It is a nice nook up there for some privacy with a bed and a sofa and an individual air con that provides a comfy temp. The balcony is small and not much view so we hardly used it. Breakfast is provided up on the rooftop bar cum lounge, where a young staff manned the place and served freshly made breakfast cooked to each guest's order every morning. The rooftop has a nice open view of the Acropolis and has very nice updated music that is cool but not too loud and wild.
They also have a bar on the G/F serving drinks. The staff are all young and pleasant, polite and helpful and they try their best to help with restaurant bookings and recommendations etc.
MiraMe is a clean and modern boutique hotel that provides sufficient toiletries to make the stay comfy and carefree. Housekeeping is discreet and the bedding is all clean and white, bath and hand towels and floors and things we touch are basically clean. Again, we cannot praise enough their wonderful shower that has to be the BEST in the whole world.
The hotel is in a quiet street but in a very safe neighbourhood, so even if you return late everyone feels very secure and safe.
GGuest UserGreat location as all main tourist sites (including Kerameikos and Filopappou Hill) were walkable - also outside the main tourist area, which was a plus. Roof terrace also pleasant at the end of the day.
Hotel facilities are limited: WiFi, internet tv only (on mine you had to log in with your own details), aircon, tea/coffee, free bottled water. Cold breakfast option (set price of âŹ10 - not âŹ8 as shown on the website). Airport pick-up is now also âŹ50 (more than shown currently on website).
Rooms modern but.mine was starting to look slightly tired. In theory it was a âsuiteâ suitable for four (two small rooms) but this would have been extremely cramped, particularly as each room had only a âspace saverâ type wardrobe ie. wardrobe rail coming out from the wall with a mirror in front and no other storage and a sofa bed in the âliving roomâ.
Despite the website description of each room with (only) a power shower, mine had a shower over the bath.
Service was average: front desk tried to be helpful but local knowledge was lacking. Bed was made each day, but tea/coffee/water were not refreshed and used glasses and mugs were not cleaned. Despite this, towels WERE refreshed daily and there was no option (card or other mechanism) to get this stopped. I was surprised: it seems that saving water and energy had passed the hotel by entirely.
In conclusion: compared to other prices and areas of Athens I paid a reasonable amount, but given the reviews had expected more from the hotel, although I couldnât honestly say that it was bad, just âaverageâ.
LLdesierra Inma Von ParkerI had an excellent stay at this hotel! The check-in process was smooth and welcoming. Although the room was not as large as some other hotels, it was very comfortable and well-maintained. The location is fantasticâjust steps away from the Metaxourghio metro station, making it incredibly easy to get around. Itâs only a few stops to Syntagma Square, where you can enjoy a lovely walk through the pedestrian street to Monastiraki. The breakfast was outstanding, offering a variety of delicious options to start the day. The staff were exceptionally helpful and even assisted us in arranging a taxi to the bus station. I highly recommend this hotel for its convenience, great service, and excellent breakfast!
æ±æ±This hotel is really good, not rare in Europe! The hotel is located at the end of the Zeus Temple, at the end of the food street. Walking to the Acropolis and Syntagma Square are 1 km away. The way to the Acropolis is full of restaurants and shops, very convenient. The hotel's facilities are complete with slippers, shampoo, conditioner, soap, shaving foam and lotion. Just bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste. A kettle and tea bags are provided, and a small fridge can store the food you buy. The decoration of the hotel is also very delicate and clean, and the service is very good. The overall feeling is that there are four-star standards in China. It is really rare in Europe! Itâs hoping to write a lot of useful information for my friends, because I also like the travellers who leave detailed and true comments.
GGuest UserThis was a great stay for us and our family. The hotel is conveniently located near many popular sights and eateries in Athens and most were within a 10-20 minute walk. The nearby Monastiraki metro station made it easy to get to and from the airport as well.
The rooms are nicely appointed with a couple of chairs, work station, coffee/tea station, closet, mini fridge and TV. The beds were small but comfy enough. Our family had a 2 and 3 bed rooms and we found the 2 bed room was a lot more spacious. The bathrooms in both were small but we appreciated that the hot water came on quickly and there was a small window for ventilation. Our room was quiet at night but our family noted street noise on the lower floors. The elevators were often tricky to catch as they are small but we appreciated it when we didn't feel like the climb to the sixth floor.
The amenities at the hotel were good for the price. The roof top patio and bar area was a highlight and we enjoyed a couple of afternoons up here watching the sun set and the lights turn on at the Acropolis. The prices of the bar were inexpensive and they had a good variety of options. There was a sitting room that had tea and coffee midday and they kept it open in the evening so we were able to sit together and talk. They had laundry service, baggage storage and could help arrange tours or car hires as well at the front desk with their friendly and welcoming staff.
The breakfast at this hotel was very good for the price. They had something for everyone and lots of place to sit. Highlights for us were the Greek yoghurt and the spinach and feta stuffed pastries. They also had mini sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs, feta cheese, cucumber, tomatoes, breads, baklava, croissants, dried fruits, fresh fruits, juices and a coffee machine. We looked forward to breakfast each morning.
The hotel provided a good base for exploring and was centrally located. We would say if you're looking to save money and have a good breakfast to start your day in Athens this hotel is a good choice.
GGuest UserThe hotel was renovated from an old building, and the elevator is so small that it can only accommodate one person and one suitcase, but the room facilities are very new and the bed is very comfortable. On the first day, I got a larger room at the corner of the street. Although I could see a little bit of the mountain view, the sound insulation was not good. The sound of cars and motorcycles on the street was endless, and it was noisy until ten o'clock in the evening. Fortunately, the ladies and gentlemen at the front desk were very warm and friendly. The next day, I changed to a room facing the inner courtyard. It immediately calmed down and I slept well, feeling refreshed. The breakfast restaurant is on the top floor. You can enjoy a cup of coffee in the open air and enjoy the mountain view of Athens. However, there is really no choice in food, they are all sweet. There are many homeless people around the hotel and the roads are not easy to walk, but the subway station is nearby and you can easily go anywhere. It is recommended to stay for one day first, then extend if you feel it is good, or change if not, there are many hotels around.
GGuest UserWe booked our stay at Emporikon for just one night in Athens and we were disappointed to find that where we were staying was not the hotel we booked. We arrived at the address for Emporikon (the one pictured on the website where we booked) and they told us that they did not have a reservation for us and we were probably in the other building. The woman walked us over to the other building a block away (on a somewhat deserted alley rather than the bustling street of the actual hotel we booked). They did have our room there but we had booked a âtriple room with a viewâ and what we received was a room with one bed (a full I think) and absolutely no view. The room was very small, overlooked a bar that was extremely loud until 2am. The toilet also did not flushâwe had to essentially take it apart and flush four different ways to make it work. There was a smart TV, but it had no access to any Chanels and would not accept any of our U.S. streaming app accounts. The hotel we booked was a beautiful historic building and that was just not what this new building was. The location on the map and the wifi name were  a different hotel âAnasa.â There was a sign outside that said ânew Emporikon buildingâ which did make us feel that at least we were not being kidnapped, but it is very concerning that we booked one thing and received something entirely different. That is just not how a contract works. We should have at least been told it would be a different room than we paid for.
GGuest UserVery good experience! The front desk is friendly. She upgraded me to a double bed, even though I live alone. There's a bar and jacuzzi on the roof.
Bath supplies are complete. Eye masks and earplugs are also provided. The decor is vintage and tasteful, with a record and a record player in the room. Breakfast dishes are extensive, with Greek yogurt and honey as well as Greek salad and feta, which are delicious.
GGuest UserThis is the perfect hotel for someone whoâs spending a bit more time in Athens since it has a fridge, laundry machine, etc. really nice stay, clean and comfy, would def come back
SShobyThat hotel can easily be the best hotel in the area if they paid more attention to the renovation issue.. The place is well located and nice old classic design..
Staff are very helpful and breakfast was ok too..
They can't be blamed about few homeless people around as it's like that everywhere around that area.
