Hotel dengan WiFi di Athis-Mons

My first impression was a deteriorated hotel exterior and a Front Desk area that smelled bad. The main issue, however, was that the air conditioning in the room was deficient, so we contacted the Front Desk and the staff member offered us another room that had the same issue and in addition, the AC was very noisy. The employee explained that the whole hotel has the same AC which is insufficient. I asked to speak to a manager or be transferred to another hotel and he said that we can talk to the manager the next morning. I explained I needed to sleep in a cool room that night, but he said there is nothing else he could do other than offer a third room, which we ended up accepting because we were exhausted and frustrated. Conclusion: there was no decision-maker at the hotel at 7 pm. The employee at the Front Desk was polite but had no authority to resolve the issue. Please note I had called the hotel prior to the trip to make sure they had air conditioning, and they said yes. I should have asked if it was working properly too! I do not recommend this hotel.

This is definitely what you pay for is what you get. Basic room that’s safe, warm and close to the airport. Is it modern? Nope. Super clean? Nope again. An exciting spot? Also nope. But it got the job done with an easy shuttle, a nearby small mall / couple of restaurants and is just a few minutes walk to the (long) tram and a ride into the city. The room could certainly use some sprucing up, a couple more outlets and another vacuuming but I slept well and that’s the goal. Common spaces are exactly zero beyond breakfast which is a shame but also not expected. In short, it’s a short stay spot.
