The from desk people were great! However, I left the do not disturb hanger on my door before I went out and when I came back it was inside my room. I didn’t want housekeeping to come. As a solo woman traveler, had I been in the room that would’ve been an uncomfortable and potentially unsafe situation. The photos were taken prior to checking out (I always try to clear the trash and consolidate the dirty towels to make clean up easier).

Hotel representative referred us to a nearby restaurant for delivery (Metro Diner) and we never received our food, we were left with an $82 bill for food we never received & the hotel could only apologize. Hotel parking is hectic, parking availability is limited. Hotel room should’ve came with a microwave.

I didn’t read the reviews as I ended up in Atlanta unexpectedly after good old Southwest cancelled my Austin flight & Atlanta was my only option to get back home. I’m glad I didn’t anyway because I probably wouldn’t have booked it but I have nothing but good things to say about my 1 night stay. The neighbourhood probably isn’t the best but I wasn’t here to sightsee The shuttle came quickly & the journey from the airport took less than 10 mins The hotel was bright and clean & the lady on reception was very friendly & welcoming. She acknowledged my IHG platinum status & I was checked in very quickly I had room 616. It was spotlessly clean, modern & comfortable with all the hoped for amenities. Fridge, hair dryer, microwave, coffee maker, iron etc. It was also quiet & the air conditioning unit was good as I like a cold room. Clean bathroom with a great shower. Breakfast this morning was also excellent. Bacon, eggs, muffins, pancake machines, juices. They also have free coffee & tea available all day. Didn’t use pool as it’s chilly but it looked clean The lady at reception this morning let me keep my room a few hours longer & was also really lovely. Everyone I encountered smoked & said good morning. As a lone British female stranded in Atlanta I felt safe, comfortable & welcome & I would happily stay again should the need arise Ps I didn’t see any homeless people sleeping in the lobby?!

El hotel está alejado del aeropuerto el personal SÚPER AMABLE la cama cómoda el desayuno básico NO TIENEN TRASLADO AL AEROPUERTO me molesto mucho que en mi búsqueda de hotel marque hoteles con transporte al aeropuerto y me salió en la lista eso es un problema de el sistema de trip me costo el taxi 60 dólares por que había tráfico pero la vuelta sin tráfico un Uber fueron 30 por la cual no lo trip debe controlar que la información de transporte sea correcta

PPengguna TetamuHotel is beautifully decorated. Art deco is nice, but the rooms are severely lacking in amenities. No fridge, microwave or mini bar. When you're in a city typically you eat out a lot and sometimes you wanna hold on to leftovers for later so that was kind of a bummer. The location was great, but the noise was very hard for sleeping. The road is constantly noisy and they put us in a room right above the front door so it was constant talking and cars pulling in. Nice hotel just a shame we didn't have the best visit

PPengguna TetamuI am a Marriott Platinum Elite member and have been loyal to Marriott for 7 years. I’ve stayed at Marriott chains all over the country & this location has the worst customer service & staff by FAR. First of all the security for the hotel attempted to hit on me during our first interaction but I kindly turned him down bc I am married. Very unprofessional when you’re at work! Secondly upon checking in the room, there were stains on the curtains, couch and a cigarette burn hole on the bar stool. No seats for the balcony or any privacy on the balcony. The kitchen could’ve been cleaner & the sheets on the bed were not the correct size, there was a mattress cover but no fitted sheet. We didn’t even complain! The real issue came when we were woken up at 8:30am by security BANGING on the door like the Swat team. He literally woke me and my daughter up and was at the door telling my husband that we were smoking and that he could smell it and that we needed to leave the property and would be charged a $500 fine! I immediately told him that we were not smoking and that we smell smoke too and my husband had an incense burning to block the smoke smell from getting to my daughter. We are not tattle tells so we did not care to call downstairs to make it an issue, it was easier to light the incense. We literally travel with these incense bc sometimes there are pet or smoke smells at some of these hotels. The security guard seemed to not care about what I was telling him so I told him not to come back to my room without a manager. He came back twice WITHOUT the manager, said the manager was unavailable and brought a luggage cart telling us we needed to leave or he was going to call the police! I told him to call them bc I was not leaving without a refund. He kept lying to his manager on the phone saying that we were refusing to leave but not telling him what I was saying which was COME BACK WITH YOUR MANAGER. The security guy was extremely rude & aggressive and needs to be FIRED. The manager FINALLY came up to the room 20 min later smh and when he did I offered him to come inside and smell or take a look bc we had nothing to hide. He said he could smell smoke but not tell what it was and I informed him we had an incense burning. He asked us to put it out and said that we couldn’t burn incense or light candles at this hotel. That was my first time hearing a no incense or candle burning policy from Marriott. He told us we were fine and to enjoy the rest of our stay without even addressing the rude behavior from security. I told him we would be checking out immediately and calling Marriott customer service for a full refund for being woken up and harassed. I called customer service as I was checking out to file a complaint and ask for assistance with getting a refund. Well here it is a week later and the hotel STILL hasn’t given me a refund or returned my deposit! Customer service team said the manager said he would not be returning my funds so I’ve escalated it to

PPengguna TetamuThe entrance to get to the front desk if your driving is on the side street, they offer parking but it’s $40 per night (kind of expensive), my first interaction wasn’t pleasant because the guest service representative was very unprofessional, our room was located on the 6th floor facing the aquarium, very clean but really small. They ran out of face towels and it was really hard getting extra toilet paper. Overall, the location is excellent it’s directly across from the aquarium, coke cola world, the breakfast club and so much more. You can walk or ride a scooter to the Mercedes Benz stadium.

PPengguna TetamuVery nice newer hotel. Service was ok. Security arrived quickly to reset the safe, though the maintenance staff couldn't fix my dripping shower faucet. They showed up right away, misdiagnosed the problem and said it would stop over time. It didn't. When I notified the front desk the next morning, they assured me that maintenance would be there to fix it. They never showed up again. Three days of hearing a dripping shower faucet...
Oh yeah, and don't get a room on the second floor near the fitness center. Gyms bros too weak to properly put down dumbbells. *****s letting them drop and thus rattling everything on the floor at all hours of the day and night.

The Breakfast is pitiful, sausage sitting in a pan full of grease, I know sausage is greasy, but I’ve never seen it served sitting in a pan full of greased. So not appetizing at all. The first day the French toast sticks were stuck together and half cooked. Fruit bowl never refilled. Charging $15 for that is insane!! I will say the Breakfast attendants are sweet and helpful. The parking is ridiculous, I have to pay $45 per day for an attendant to go park my car 50 feet away. That’s just taking advantage of people. I should be able to park my own car instead of being rushed out of my car trying to grab all my things, shopping bags, etc. Hallways are very loud throughout the night. Ghetto guests allowed to say the worst cuss words and talk any way they want to loudly in front of other guests and Children. I finally had to say something to this one girl. This is a family friendly Hotel as the Aquarium, Coke Museum, Centennial Park are all located within walking distance. Hotel staff shouldn’t let crap like this happen or continue. Good luck if you need towels, an extra blanket, or whatever, Housekeeping doesnt clean or replenish anything and that was on my third day. You have to call and ask for it, but the phone doesn’t work in the room and I had to use my cellphone to call the front desk. I had to go get it myself and the guy couldn’t get into the linen closet cause someone locked the door and they didn’t have a key. He had to go to an open room and get it from there, SMH. I paid over $200 a night to stay here and I’m very disappointed. Won’t be back. Will go stay at the overpriced, outdated, Westin instead and pay for an Uber to drive me and my family to where we got to go.

PPengguna TetamuI have stayed at many IHG hotels, including Holiday Inn. I have stayed at new, old, and renovated properties and have had positive experiences. I stay at Northlake hotels when I am visiting family. I choose this hotel because I am familiar with the brand, and it offered the lowest rate by about $20. I felt like I found a great deal. From the outside, the hotel is a standard, pleasant hotel, although the palm trees out front were kind of suspicious for Atlanta. Lobby looks okay. But after check-in, things got worse. One was not allowed to use the rear entrance to the building; thus, one must walk to the side or front entrance. Elevator looks poorly maintained; hallways were dark with harsh fluorescent lighting and had that really strong ”old building” smell. There was also the smell of pot (and I don't have a problem with it, but I do when I'm in a hotel). As for the room, it had that old smell, the hutch for hanging clothes look well-worn and scratched up. The couch was well-worn. The remote didn't have the battery cover. There was hair in the sink. In the morning, the water didn't drain out of the bathtub while showering. That was the last straw for me. I checked out two days early. I understand those are a lot of negatives but let me stress some things. First, the bed was new and very comfortable. Second, the staff, from the receptionist to the maintenance crew, were *very nice* and *accommodating*. Any request I made was met, and everyone was genuinely proud and happy to be working there. I just wish the hotel physically was as pleasant as the staff. And even though the hotel has been renovated, more needs to be done. As for now, this hotel should not be flagged a Holiday Inn.

PPengguna TetamuIt was delightful! Our room faced the trees & it felt like we were in a treehouse. The suite was really well thought out & we had every thing we needed for a comfortable and restful stay! It was also really nice to have the breakfast there for us~~even enjoyed the lobby as we waited the next day for our family to arrive. It was peaceful and well kept & sunny. :)
(The title Comfort Suites Atlanta Airport was deceiving to us. We are from Arizona & thought if it said Atlanta Airport in the title, that it would be right by the Atlanta airport. There wasn't a shuttle that goes to Comfort Suites, and it ended up being quite daunting & time consuming to get to there! We ended up getting on a wrong van, and it cost us $40 to have the driver deliver us.)
