Very conveniently located to Auburn and very reasonably priced. Comfortable and clean. Most importantly, the staff is all great! Every single one was friendly, meticulous, and eager to go the extra mile. Mary and JC at the front desk, were especially great. My kid is just starting their freshman year. I anticipate staying here many times over the next four years!

Pics are fake!!!! This place needs to be condemed!!!! Never stay here. Dirty. Our room had no towels. No bath mat. Went to get some at the desk. We were given 2 super old stained towels. No soaps. Towel bar hanging off. Ac won't cool. No desk chair. Taps are so corroded you are scared to touch them. Outlet by sink broke. Tub is super stained. Closet door broke. TV volume broke.

Was very pleased that they have resumed serving a hot breakfast (eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits & gravy, etc.), unlike other hotels in the area. Typically clean, quiet and safe stay, with very comfortable beds. Great service. They have an enclosed business center, that provides some privacy. Was disappointed to discover that they have filled in their indoor pool, to convert to a new fitness center, as the pool was a favorite amenity. But, it will be nice to have a larger fitness center. I'm a repeat visitor (many times), and will definitely be back.

After being in Auburn all day and not feeling awake enough to make a drive home I decided to book a room. I didn't have much to choose from because every hotel in the area seemed to be full (on a weeknight) and prices were sky-high! The outside of the Marriott was clean and well-lit and generally felt like a safe area. The entrance from the main road was not lit up and was difficult to see. Check-in was easy, but the desk person lacked in personality or hospitality. She was just doing her job. I knew before booking that this hotel does not serve complimentary breakfast. I usually choose hotels with breakfast because 1. We pay a lot of money to stay at these establishments 2. My kids love to pick different things (like making their own waffles) to eat that we normally wouldn't make at home. 3. It's convenient. Nonetheless, no breakfast at this Marriott, unless you visit their bar area and order and pay for food. A guest checking in ahead of me asked about breakfast - I knew exactly what he was asking. The woman checking him in pointed (at the bar) and said it's over there from (this time to that time) not once saying it isn't included. I bet he was in for a surprise the next morning. As for the room, it was clean and smelled good, unlike many hotels I've stayed in. It's your standard room, but slightly larger than most. The beds were comfortable and had lots of pillows and the sheets were soft - win! The bathroom had a large open shower and plenty of hooks and towel racks. Only 1 coffee cup which sucks when you have more than 1 person in your room who wants coffee. And it looked like someone had spit in the coffee maker - people are nasty! Why??? Also, the mini fridge had something growing in it which I presumed was black mold. As a word of caution for anyone traveling with small children, the window in our room could be slid open easily. I've never stayed in a hotel where the windows actually opened. Clean. Comfortable. Safe. No complimentary breakfast.

I chose this hotel based on good reviews online. It seemed expensive but hotels in their area were either not good or pricy. This hotel was middle of the road for me. The room was fine- nothing special- the quality you expect from a quality inn- with average towels and some amenities... microwave, tv, decent wifi.... However, when the tour bus pulled up at 9pm outside and sat for 25 minutes idling extremely loudly it was not unnoticed. The rooms open to the outside and do not block much in the way of sound. In the morning the breakfast area was disgusting because people could not be bothered to throw away their trash and whoever was in charge of breakfast was not keeping it tidy. Food selection was minimal. They did not even have oatmeal (and I mean the instant, in the packets kind). For 130 dollars a night I would prefer to get something decent to eat. What a waste of money. Location was good but I will not stay again based on price and quality of amenities. Not sure why hotels in this town are so expensive but this place was worth maybe 70 bucks and that's being generous. They need to seriously re-do their breakfast options.

Another great stay! This is my third time staying at this hotel and I rarely return to the same place unless It was a great stay. Nitcha was very helpful in making the reservation, Chris did a fantastic job at checking and Juan helped immensely by cleaning some areas at midnight. We will definitely be back!

Older property. Carpet was worn, but room very clean, excellent bed and quiet AC/Heat. Was traveling with 25 trailer and parking was a challenge.

Convenient, clean, great amenities, great value. Definitely a home away from home. The pantry & locker system provide anything you may need during your stay, including: tools, desk supplies, crockpot, laundry, school supplies, blenders.

What you expect from a Hampton. Easy in and out with a clean, comfortable room. Everything was good with plenty of power plugs (120v and USB). Only downside is that this Hampton like many others are getting a little worn looking but this one was definitely worth the cost.
