Ulasan Airport Gateway Hotel

It is dirty. There were Spiders in my room; and it was quite stinky. The sheets smells like someone was sleeping in them already.

Arriving at the international airport, we needed to depart the next morning on a domestic flight so opted to stay at the Gateway because it was on the route of the free bus with accommodation. $8 pp if no booking. The Hotel looked shabby from the outside, however was really surprised at how clean and comfortable the rooms were, we also dined in the restaurant, large portion, food, and reasonable prices would definitely stay again.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Gateway Airport Hotel in Mangere, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The hotel's proximity to the airport made it an ideal choice for my travels, but it was the outstanding service, impressive facilities, and delicious food that truly made my stay memorable. The service at the Gateway Airport Hotel was top-notch. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. From the warm greeting at check-in to the helpful assistance with my luggage, every interaction I had with the staff was pleasant and professional. The hotel's facilities were modern, clean, and well-maintained. My room was spacious and comfortable, with a plush bed, a large flat-screen TV, and a convenient workspace. The bathroom was clean and well-appointed, with a great shower and plenty of towels. I also appreciated the hotel's fitness center and business center, which were both well-equipped and easily accessible. One of the highlights of my stay was the food. The hotel's restaurant served a delicious breakfast buffet, with a wide range of options to suit all tastes. I also enjoyed dinner at the restaurant, which offered a great selection of local and international dishes. The food was tasty, well-presented, and reasonably priced. Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with the Gateway Airport Hotel in Mangere. The combination of excellent service, modern facilities, and delicious food made for a truly enjoyable stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a convenient, comfortable, and memorable place to stay in Auckland. Rating: 5/5 stars

The butter chicken special was as tasty as can be.

Reached late at night and there was service to pick up from hotel. Short distance from airport and decent for a night layover at Auckland.

This place is really strategic if you want to have short trip and need to be close to the airport!

The hotel was ok. However there was a cockroach in the bathroom. The hotel itself is in need of a bit of TLC

Absolutely loved the cleanliness, smelt fresh walking through the hallways. Friendly helpful staff and reception. 5 minute walk to a Cafe. Quiet room from traffic

It’s probably a little expensive for what it js. It has a haggard motel feel. It seems like VR acquire properties that are a little rough around the edges. Hotel ignored my request placed via the app which was a simple one.

The hotel is old but not too bad. Room location is bit at the back. Our room don't have TV remote and they don't have spare one.

Staff were hard working, but lacked direction. My room was clean on arrival, Notified staff twice before being cleaned late on fourth day. Bar was unorganised. I didn't eat at hotel other than breakfast. Some items ran out before 09.00 (croissants in particular) Some maintenance being undertaken, but no one seen on the job. Beer cans and cig butts seen outside room on verandah. Outside areas untidy. Shower pressure low. Door rattled when closed.
