Avignon is a historic city, the location of the hotel is very good, very close to the Palace of the Palace, the city road driving is very crashing, the navigation is also collapsed, parking spaces are difficult to find, all this can not stop the city charm

One tiny elevator, many stairs, and outdated magnetic key cards that too often don’t work, spoiled my first positive impression. One morning I came down to the reception three times and eventually the receptionist went upstairs with me to help. But I almost missed my paid tour.
The front desk and house keeping staff was always smiling, pleasant, and willing to help.
The room was small yet charming, very tidy and clean, with a great view of the central square. Windows with good insulation so the noise from the street was minimal. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom small but with a tub!
The breakfast hall was gorgeous and the breakfast decent, with mainly French pastry and desserts, besides cheese, ham, pastry (breads and sweets) and some fruit and vegetables.
Besides the renovated facilities and excellent location, there is no pool, sauna, spa, gym or any other amenities that would qualify this as a 4* hotel.
Also, I forgot my iPad in the room safe when I checked out. The hotel contacted me and offered to send it to my new destination. However, they did not actually send it by express mail even though they said that they did. My iPad arrived to Montpellier after I had already left. I waited for it three days ( it’s 1h away) but because they didn’t check the SEND ON SATURDAY option on the mailing form, the device spent the weekend in the post office.
The fee that they asked me to I pay was 37€ because as they said it was sent express mail and with insurance - however when I asked the hotel in Montpellier to send it to Barcelona (another country and 3,5h away) I paid almost the same amount!? Plus the hotel used “peek’in” service so I immediately had insight into the delivery progress online.
The worst thing for me was that they kept on sending emails insisting they were right and tried their best to help, instead of admitting they made a mistake. I appreciate their effort but it’s better to work smart rather than hard. Instead of having to thank someone for trying I need my iPad delivered to me on time. Perhaps there are too many women in the management that are taking things too personally? 🤷🏼♀️
Sheltered from the legendaries rampart of Avignon, Hotel de Cambis, BW Premier Collection is from far the ideal place to discover la cité des Papes.
It was created as a testimony for the unique identity of this area. As soon as the doors are crossed, you will be emerged in an artistic concept shaped around wine, its colors, feelings and sensations.

Room 301 faces the patio, and the lighting is not good. The space is not large.
The air conditioner is basically not turned on. You have to adjust it yourself at night to get cool air. Or open the window for ventilation.
The cleaning is not very clean. There are a lot of short hairs on a pillowcase and on the toilet.
There was no drinking water in the refrigerator when I checked in. The front desk brought two bottles. The next day, I got a bottle of water downstairs. On the third day, another female front desk was on duty. I called for water and said it would be charged. I bought a liter at Carrefour next door for a few cents.
The service standards are not uniform.
The surrounding environment is quite lively and safe. You can see the hotel when you leave the train station. It takes more than 10 minutes to walk to the church. It is quite convenient. The scope of play is not large.

Awesome antique hotel, located in the old town gate, very close to the main attractions and business districts, valet parking, very warm and welcoming service. The hotel is very charming, and the afternoon tea in the courtyard is very comfortable. It can be said to be the first choice for visiting Avignon.

It is relatively close to the train station and bus station, and there are many restaurants and bakeries along the way, and Carrefour; the most important attractions are basically within 500 meters, which is convenient. The hotel is in a small city with the most beautiful trip this time. The whole city only needs to be walked. You can enjoy the rich ancient architecture scenery around, and friendly customs. Good restaurants are all around. There are few bars and very lively, everywhere. It is a beautiful view, the air is particularly good, and the moonlight is beautiful at night. The hotel is a 400-year-old building. A small hotel is directly built and connected. It also has many years of history. I like these poplars, pine trees, etc., looking at the inner garden. It’s also very comfortable, and I also feel why the French can read a book on a sun lounger and drink a cup of coffee. It’s a day. When it comes to the beautiful breakfast environment, looking at the landscape through the glass, it is also a European-style breakfast. The quality is also available. , The room is very special, first is a cloakroom and toilet, and then into a bathroom, the bed and a sofa, the sofa is English style, very comfortable, the terrace is a glass door, there are windows separated by adjustable size switch, Very satisfied, come again if you have a chance, I will also recommend this hotel

Everything is very good at the hotel, the decoration and sanitary conditions are not bad, but there are big problems at the front desk of the hotel. Not all front desk staff, but a thin middle-aged man on duty between 10pm and 11pm at the front desk was very rude. When he returned to the hotel at about 10pm on January 7, 2022, he found the door closed and rang the bell, but there was no one at the front desk. So I pressed the bell a few times, and after a while the tall, middle-aged man on duty came to the door and yelled at me as a customer, then argued with me and accused me of ringing the bell as a customer almost woke the hotel (After telling another front desk staffer the next day, the staff said the ringing was displayed on the phone with the front desk and staff, and strangely, the staff member didn't hear me through the phone while ringing last night Wait a minute, so I rang the bell a few more times). I was uncomfortable expressing the staff's attitude and the yelling seemed to be treating a madman, who replied, ”Yes, it's treating a madman.” In summary, it is not so simple to ring the bell. The professional accomplishment of the staff, and the waiting for people to receive things, obviously do not meet the needs of the hotel staff, and the face of different guests obviously feel racial discrimination, have complained, Waiting for a response from the hotel. Think twice about booking this hotel, and meeting the thin high school man can be extremely uncomfortable.

The old rooms and facilities are worth seeing and very stylish, our room had a great view. Our room was one of the most beautiful in which we have stayed in Europe. However, the service leaves a lot to wish, especially for the price of the night. We spent two next people here, had to search employees several times every evening to give up our orders in the bar and then had to do with unfriendly and unmotivated staff. Cocktails were good, food in the bar - again for the price and the hotel category - miserable. But the rooms and old sofas of the bar are worth a visit. The choice of breakfast is just appropriate once you have looked through the chic presentation of the buffet and the quality is not noticeable. However, the breakfast room is again impressive and moodful. The hotel is overlooking by external tourists at the daily afternoon tea, so you can luckyly have a table as a guest, but then there was only a limited selection of the cook menu on both days, Because everything was already sold out and that was not only at a late time. And here too you can wait for an everlasting service! Rooms were very well maintained, also friendly and helpful room girls. More than one night we would not recommend here, but well suited for a visit to the Pastor. Require the route plan before arrival, it is very helpful and urgently necessary for the tight one-way routes of the old town! But this is a good way for the route.

I stayed for two night and it was overall satisfying stay. The room is clean enough and i liked the bedroom and living room was separated. It was spacious enough to open the suitcases on the floor. There was only one set of towel for two people but when I requested housing lady gave me quickly. I also requested late check out and it was 20 euro per hour and only available until 2pm. But when I called the reception the guy told me it is 15 euros. I had to pay with my card not cash because of the wrong information. But it was good stay and I would like to visit again next time.

GGuest UserThe staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and modern. The restaurant was a plus. The room was fine, except the internet had really slow connection. Did not like sharing a room when there was a bathroom with no sink (how do you watch your hands when your roommate is in the shower area?). The shower area had only a curtain - so no sound protection. Could not get the room cold enough even with the lowest setting for temperature and the fan on high. We were both too hot.
WWenziyidingThe hotel is a few hundred meters walk from Avignon Central Station. It is very close to the main street of the old city and is very convenient. The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool that is suitable for children, and there are table football, billiards and other toys for children in the lobby. There are water dispensers on each floor with ice water supply. The room size is okay, just right for a family of three. English is very good at the front desk and the waiters are very enthusiastic. It's just that a blue sweater in a friend's room was probably taken away by mistake among the towels, and it was not recovered in the end.
ZZHIHONGBreakfast is 7 points-, there is an extra bed, the bed in the room is very comfortable, the room is small, the parking lot has to be bypassed from the railway station square, it is not hard to find it.
SSamThis hotel is located within the city walls pedestrianise area but is assessable by car as the entrance to the car park from the main road. Very close to all major tourist location. The bed is comfortable with a decent shower pressure. The breakfast is good with a good variety of hot and cold food selections.
AAndré De MesquitaGreat value for the price.
Rooms are good , slightly old but clean.
Walls are very thin , just be aware . Still had a great night of sleep.
Breakfast is good but very basic , don’t expect luxury .
Agains still you get what you pay for.
The people super nice , great service , it makes the stay 5 stars .
LLanlan17The room was very clean, the front desk service was very warm, the supporting service was thoughtful, the location was very good, just next to the central station, opposite the city center, very convenient. Thank you very much Trip.com for helping me modify the date and check in smoothly.
SSHENGXINThis hotel is very nice, with a separate yard, very quiet. Not far from the central station and the Palais des Papes, but also with a kitchen, you can eat it yourself. If you check in later than 7pm, the hotel will send you an email in the afternoon to inform you of the check-in method. It is very detailed. If the check-out time is earlier than the hotel front desk, please put the room card in the room and close the door. . The only bad thing is that there are no slippers. Take it with you. The hotel has its own car park, but it is estimated that it must be booked in advance, not much location.
卡卡普多兰多贺知章The location is very convenient, there is a large free parking lot, it is very suitable for self-driving tour. We are on Christmas holiday, but it is unexpected to have dinner at night. The young man at the front desk was very welcoming and provided us with a free map, as well as information on the route to the Palais and the parking lot.
RROCKmaoRoom Typical European Hotel Small Room
Fortunately, the location is very convenient, within 20 minutes walk from the high-speed rail station
It takes ten minutes to walk to Carrefour Burger King, which is very convenient.
However, the room does not have a bathroom, it needs to be partitioned in the public toilet, shower and toilet, the temperature is low in winter is inconvenient
NNadezdaWe used this hotel as a stopover on our way to the south. It generally met our expectations - clean, basic, and a bit worn out. For a solo traveler/ woman may be a bit scary because the location is isolated. Automatic check-in may be tricky (made it from the 3 attempt).
