As first time visitors from the US to Baden Baden, we really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The building is beautiful and charming, a plus for my daughter and myself since we both adore older architecture. Our room was lovely, beautiful balcony. We didn't realize there was no air conditioning, I didn't check prior to booking so that was on me. The evenings were cool so we enjoyed leaving the balcony door open. The breakfast buffet was generous and presented in a lovely manner. We were provided with a basket to go to the spa which contained towels and robes, such a nice and pleasant surprise for us. The location is absolutely perfect, walking distance to everything and a short bus ride to Merkur, which we so enjoyed. We took a cab to and from the train station( we took the train from Frankfurt) because of large luggage but it's very doable to go by bus. The staff is friendly and helpful but one staff member in particular, Victor, was absolutely stellar. He went over and beyond helping us by calling DB for us ( we had a question about our train ticket), answering all our inquiries so kindly and securing hard to get dinner reservations for us on a Saturday night. Victor is a true example of what the hospitality industry is all about, he helped make our stay so pleasant. We had such a wonderful time in Baden Baden. I would return to this hotel in a heartbeat!

We loved the people here. Very kind, very helpful, great sense of humor. At first glance, it's a really elegant hotel. Most glances after that one suggest the need for a face lift. Cracks in the wallpaper, stains on the carpet, paint that probably isn't its original colour .... this sort of thing. Closed spa area suggests staffing issues. Most of the common areas are pretty. I suppose that in a city as elegant as Baden-Baden, elegance has to be refreshed from time to time. A little refreshing would go a long way here. There were no real obstacles to a descent night of sleep. Our A/C didn't cool much. We were ambiantly ”not hot.” Our other room felt hot for the full two days. I would have appreciated another pillow, but neither did I ask. I slept, but not actually deeply. Breakfast has a nice porridge, other hot offerings, and the items you would expect for a German breaky. Location is superb. In a great walking city, it is perfectly positioned. Easy walk to the baths and the ******. Honestly, I can't see I will ever be back to Baden Baden. There is something about it that makes the city feel remote. For those with mobility challenges, options are really limited. I would certainly look here again, but I would also be looking for some light upgrades.

Ein sehr angenehmes Hotel mit ausgezeichnetem Personal, sei es in der Rezeption oder beim Frühstück. Die recht großen Zimmer sehr ordentlich und sauber, ebenso das Bad. Die Betten sind für unseren Geschmack etwas zu weich, jedoch nicht durchgelegen. Das Frühstück für 15,00 Euro/Person ist sehr reichhaltig und gut. Es wird immer - auch kurz vor Schluss - noch nachgelegt, so dass auch für Langschläfer noch alles vorhanden ist. Die Bedienung im Frühstücksrestaurant ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlichen. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis in diesem Haus stimmt. Die Lage ist super - im Zentrum, zum Friedrichsbad sind es nur einige Schritte. Vielleicht könnte die Ausstattung im Bad etwas besser sein, z. B. Duschhauben, bessere Beleuchtung zum Schminken. Wir würden beim nächsten Aufenthalt in Baden-Baden wieder dieses Haus buchen und können es empfehlen.

Lovely room, with a nice view of the street and peaceful town down the hill. The hotel doesnt do anything exceptional - there's no facilities as such and we didnt use the very small restaurant / bar. But as Baden Baden is one of the dullest places I've ever visited (and I say that in a way not to say it is rubbish, but just very dull), the hotel does a great job of representing the town. Elegant, expensive and peaceful. They used to have digital services enabled on the TVs - but in a hysterical over reaction to people complaining that they had left themselves logged into their Netflix accounts, blocked these services rather than just tell the customers to log off remotely. As such, the TV (one of the few things to do in the town by night) was virtually inaccessible to non German speakers. The staff however were terrific. Helpful, kind, chatty and all wonderful people. But I can imagine the Christmas party is remarkably sedate!

Hotel right on the edge of the main town and easily within walking distance. Hotel was clean and the standard you would expect from holiday Inn. Staff were friendly and helpful and almost all spoke English. Breakfast was continental buffet style and was okay. Would stay there again. Recommended

Sehr chaotisch, Personal weiß untereinander nicht die korrekten Abläufe…trotz dreitägiger Buchung wurde ich mehrmals aufgefordert das Zimmer zu räumen. Immer wieder Entschuldigungen und danach wurde ich wieder aufgefordert, das Zimmer zu verlassen. Beim Frühstück 4mal von unterschiedlichem Personal nach meiner Zimmernummer gefragt. Sauberkeit Badraum befriedigend. Garagenreservierung eine Katastrophe…Einlasskarte funktioniert …soll 25,00 € bezahlen für reservierten Parkplatz, der letztendlich dann besetzt ist und trotz Einlasskarte soll man klingeln, damit die Schranke geöffnet wird. Rundum der Aufenthalt war mangelhaft…zuguterletzt musste ich abends an der Bar von mehreren Gästen Beschwerden anhören, das letztlich meine Erfahrung nachhaltig bestätigte!

Fantastic and very unique hotel, in a very quiet but convenient part of the town. On arrival the receptionist was super helpful with information, and directions. The rooms are very large and have good facilities, very nice decorations & very modern facilities. Breakfast was an excellent huge selection of food and drinks, work very friendly staff serving it. In a lovely breakfast room setting. Fabulous

We were absolutely happy to have found and stayed here. Although it seems like a retiree resort, the hotel is such an awesome place to spend some relaxing days here. The room is so spacious and come with a big balcony that faces the small pond and vineyard! Imagine waking up to such a view or enjoying sunset with it! The location is good as well. It’s so quiet, surrounded by wide hectares of vineyard. You can easily stroll around here enjoying quiet and relaxing time. It is also just a short 20mins drive to Baden-Baden city center. The breakfast was okay but I highly highly recommended to take their dinner package. The 3- or 4-course menu are superb! They change the menu everyday and the food is soooooo delicious! It’s definitely the highlight for us here! The staffs are also so friendly and warm. They make everyone comfortable and relaxed. We hope to come back again!

Had a 6.00am flight out of Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden airport at the end of our short break, so this hotel was brilliant. It is literally across the street. The 285 hourly bus from Baden Baden takes you to the doorstep. Quick registration and we were up in our room. Clean and spacious - no frills; it is just to stay one night before or after your early/late flight. One complaint.... the mattress was as hard as nails. Considering you only pay for hotels like these to sleep the night, it is always a mystery to me why hotels don't invest in a proper high quality mattress.

MMarina MandarinaУдачно расположен номер. Отличный вид из окон на красивую маленькую площадь. Есть лифт. Есть кухня и гардеробная. Минусы: все батареи завоздушены. Мы включили все, но работала только одна. Номер прогрелся только на второй день. Первую ночь было очень холодно- просыпалась с ледяной кожей рук и лица)) Нет вай фая. На ресепшене просили, сказали, что пароль у двери на стене, но его там нет) Ресепшен находится в другом отеле, что усложняет поиск. Если бы не хозяин соседнего отеля, который отвел нас на ресепшен- не догадались бы. Ресепшен находится в отеле по диагонали на площади- там, где самое большое уличное кафе.

PPengguna TetamuL'accueil pour les non-germanophones est plutôt peu convivial. Le patron, chargé de la réception, ne parle pas le français et juste un ou deux mots d'anglais. Le checkinn s'est donc résumé à la distribution des cartes des chambres et le checkout au paiement. Surprise : il fallait payer en espèces. Le boîtier pour les cartes ne fonctionnait pas, selon le propriétaire. Aucun distributeur dans le coin. Nous avons dû réaliser un virement sur le compte bancaire de l'hôtel. À ce moment-là, nous avons reçu une facture numérotée de notre réservation. Sinon, l'hôtel est agréable. Les chambres sont spacieuses. Le buffet petit déjeuner est varié mais mériterait de comporter des fromages régionaux. Le village est désert. Aucune possibilité de trouver un bar ou restaurant.

Es un pequeño hotel boutique. Esta bien ubicado aunque costó encontrarlo, porque esta en una pequeña callecita cortada. Al llegar no habia nadie en recepcion, una mujer de limpieza que no hablaba español ni ingles nos dio la llave, que estaba afuera del hotel en unas cajas que se abrian con un codigo. No tiene ascensor, y la escalera es pequeña y empinada. la habitacion muy linda, comoda, con heladera y cafetera.

PPengguna TetamuKlein Boutique hotel in een rustige buurt van Baden- Baden met een redelijke goede eigen parkeerplaats aan de overkant van het hotel. Prima ontvangst maar helaas was het restaurant gesloten wegens personeel gebrek. Prima kamer, niet erg groot, met een kleine maar nette badkamer. Veel restaurants op loopafstand (20 min) in de binnen stad. Een prima buffet ontbijt voor ons vertrek.

113251632A small old hotel close to Baden-Baden city centre. We had to move rooms due to no wifi connectivity. Nothing great as such with the hotel. Rooms are small but delicate. The beds were cosy. No air conditioner. As it was still cold outside, there was no need for an ac. However, I doubt this will be the situation during summer. It's 10mts by car from the train station and 5 to 10mts by foot to the city centre. Wifi was breaking in between. Breakfast was moderate and was included in our room. Rate. Rooms had a bottle of sparkling water and small chocolate as complimentary. The reception staff are pleasant and welcoming. They provided us with the city map and advised us where to go. Overall the stay was satisfactory.
