Location very good, room very uncomfortable no chairs or anywhere to sit in the room, the bed has a wooden frame around it so you could not sit on the edge of the bed, if you wanted to have a drink out of the mini bar there was nowhere to sit and drink it, the room has a massive double bath in it which we used once but was a big waste of space, would rather the room to be more comfortable, it was one of the luxury rooms, and to sit down and have a drink of wine we had to go to the beach. Breakfast was a 10 minute walk away to a separate restaurant. For 90 Euros per night excluding breakfast, breakfast was extra

El hotel está ubicado a la entrada de Peñiscola, así que por una parte genial porque no estás con todo el meollo, pero por otra hay que reconocer que para ir a pie todo el día pilla un poco lejos de la playa y del casco antiguo. Las habitaciones son cómodas y espaciosas, con su baño grande, su terracita, su televisor y en nuestro caso, pedí que fuese una cama de matrimonio porque viajamos con un bebe de 1 año y es más cómodo para dormir y nos complacieron. La única pega es que nuestra habitación daba a la carretera y había mucho ruido durante la noche. Tampoco hay persianas y el amanecer nos fastidiaba mucho. El hotel tiene tres piscinas, una de ellas para niños y los espacios públicos estan cuidados, un patio para tomarte algo justo al lado de una piscina y cerca de recepción y del bar. El desayuno deja un poco que desear, hay poca variedad, para mi gusto, de salado. El café es de maquina expendedora, algo que no me gusta nada, porque poco cuesta hacer uno de máquina buena. Respecto al personal, había un señor en recepción muy amable a nuestra llegada. Luego coincidimos con una señora, que debe ser encargada o dueña también agradable.

Empezaré por la valoración positiva ; reconocer que la idea es original; dormir bajo el cielo estrellado tiene su encanto y un punto de romanticismo muy atractivo para parejas que buscamos hacer algo original y diferente. También sería injusto no hacer mención a la excelente amabilidad con la que el personal nos trató. Siempre atentos y con una sonrisa que nunca perdieron. El servicio fue, indiscutiblemente, inmejorable (mencionaría a la chica que nos hizo el check in y luego servía las cenas, pero se le olvidó pedirle el nombre, aunque en general fueron todos muy muy atentos y amables). La parte negativa ; las condiciones de la burbuja ! Si buscas una experiencia inolvidable, pues será mejor que estés hecho a las temperaturas que ni el mismísimo Satanás sería capaz de soportar. Mi pareja y yo estuvimos alojados dos noches, y es literalmente IMPOSIBLE estar dentro de la burbuja mientas Lorenzo asoma el hocico. No sé si el problema fue por el mal estado de la máquina de aire o porque no es capaz de contrarrestar las altas temperaturas que alcanza esa burbuja; pero vamos, olvidaros de la idea de estar dentro de la burbuja sintiendo confort y bienestar, porque no lo encontrareis. Honestamente, considero que deberían hacer una inversión para mejorar, por un lado cuidar los detalles de las parcelas (gravilla y trozos de ladrillo y restos de la obra son los motivos decorativos de la zona ajardinada) , y sobretodo, buscar otra fórmula para acondicionar mejor la burbuja.

We spent two nights in this beautiful hotel .We loved the atmosphre from outside with many palm and tangerine trees . We liked the decoration from inside with comfortable white Sofas and fire place . Actually there a plenty of places to sit and relax ( also outside by the 2 pools , bar and the two restaurants , an ideal place to celebrate events such a wedding for exemple . We hat the room called ” special number 9 ”which has a very nice terrase with deck chairs and a view facing the palm trees . The room is spacious with comfortable bed and the hydromassage bath is a big plus ! Breakfast was very good . The service professional and friendly. We had a nice experience and can really recommended it .

We have stayed in various places in Peníscola over the last 20 years but as this time was the first without our children, we thought we would give this hotel a try. Positives- * The staff (all but 1) were exceptionally accommodating, helpful and polite. Reception and the pool bar in particular. * The rooftop pool is very well run with plenty of sun loungers, music, a pool bar and lovely views of the town. We loved spending time up there. The staff were very attentive and the fruit smoothies a nice touch. Suncream was available if you need a top up. * The location is excellent, very central. *The dining room is to congested but the food was very good and the chefs worked incredibly hard. Other comments: * The rooms are quite dated. We were lucky to have a higher room with a decent view but lots of rooms did looked to just have street views. * The shower door was quite a strange design and water could easily escape onto the floor. * The restaurant was very busy which is fine but the food area was quite small for the amount of people dining. It became very crowded and they kept running out of things. It got very congested. * Because of the crowds, we preferred to sit in the outdoor courtyard. One evening, we walked in (towards the end of service) and asked for a table outside as on entering, I had seen a few free. The waitress refused and said they were all taken and led us to an indoor table. I walked out and showed her a table that had just been vacated and 2 empty tables. She said the two empty tables were for bar customers (there was not one person in the bar) and we would have to sit inside. Inside was noisy and busy so we left. *We booked a session in the spa but there was no shade at all and it was very warm so we left. I had to go back to reception and explain this as there were no staff at all in the spa-apparently it was their day off. *The hotel bar is more like a canteen with no atmosphere at all which is a shame, especially for people who don't want to venture out. I would have expected some basic entertainment or music and more subtle lighting. We went in once to get a drink in the evening but no member of staff appeared so we left. Overall, a lovely holiday but I would not recommend this hotel to visitors who like to sit in the hotel during the evenings.

Pensión muy tranquila y limpia. Nos dieron la habitación que aparece en la foto principal de Tripadvisor y las vistas eran excelentes. Pusieron a nuestra disposición gel de baño y champú y lo repusieron cuando vinieron a acicalar la habitación. Además, la habitación contaba con un gran número de espacios para almacenar ropa y objetos, algo que se agradece mucho. La única pega fue la cama, no es muy grande y el colchón es mejorable. Aún así, estuvimos muy a gusto y el trato fue excelente. ¡Repetiríamos sin dudarlo!

I booked a side sea view room had to lean over the balcony to see the sea. I thought it was quite pricey but I guess it is the time of year. Room quite small and bland. Nespresso machine and small fridge was a nice touch . We always take our own kettle. Bed bit uncomfortable. Shower hot but towels a bit on the small side! Unfortunately the rooms suffer with a persistent BZZZZZZ noise every few seconds, the receptionist said it was the humidifier, we tried two rooms and it was the same in both. It never stopped so made for a very unpleasant night. I had booked the room direct but on check in no mention was made of the bar discount or the gift voucher. On check out the receptionist said the gift voucher was a bottle of water! we paid €20 for 24 hour parking in the public car park over the road. Castle was a short walk away and well worth a visit best to go first thing when cooler. The beach was just over the road it got very busy later in the day. Plenty of shops and restaurants. We chose to eat the buffet lunch and dinner in the hotel. A fairly good spread but limited as usual for vegetarians. The food was not very hot at the evening service. Breakfast was good but lacking in salad stuff and the only hot veggie option of grilled tomatoes was placed next to the frankfurters!!! The roof terrace had great views but seats were too hard for comfort. Pool looked nice but no time to try it out. Staff all friendly.

This is not a historical Parador like some of the Paradors, but is modern with a great location, within walking distance to the center of town. Our room was on the main floor, but there is an elevator to access the upper floor if necessary. Our room was somewhat dated, but very clean, quiet and comfortable with a big bathroom. The room had a safe and mini fridge available in the room. The room had a musty smell when the air conditioner wasn't on, or if we didn't have the patio door open to air out. The food served for breakfast and dinner was very good and didn't take long to get our order once we placed the order, but there were times when the staff was busy and it took us awhile to have someone take our order. Staff was always pleasant, spoke English, and worked very hard. It was great having free parking on the hotel lot.

PPengguna TetamuLa ubicación excelente, zona muy tranquila y a escasos 5 minutos de ambiente, la habitación y el personal muy bien pero: La comida era malísima, estamos en Castellón y ni una paella comestible, mucha fritanga, poca verdura, las carnes muy duras, el pollo crudo… te salvaban las ensaladas y el desayuno, que, aunque la base principal era él huevo frito, era variado y muy rico. Otra cosa a destacar negativamente es el agua de la piscina, estaba limpia pero la superficie tenía “natillas” y porquería, pasar la red de vez en cuando estaría fenomenal. Y por último la animación: la nocturna… estaba muy bien para la gente mayor, pero para familias… algo más divertido estaría bien. La animación diurna… no dejaba de ser la pintura de dibujos en el interior y juegos repetitivos en el agua, wateepolo mañana y tarde, no animaban a la gente a participar en actividades, etc. como anécdota he de decir q hicieron un scaperoom, cuando mis hijos fueron a participar les dijeron q para el siguiente, pero ese no llegó… Una buena animación diurna y nocturna haría del hotel un espacio divertido en el q pasar el día o una buena velada.
