Qiz Qalasi Hotel

if you’re looking for a place to stay in the old town, this is the place to be. The rooms were designed beautifully. All of the receptionists were very kind, friendly, super helpful, and amazing people. They helped me with all my needs. They went above and beyond. The hotel is situated in the old town and it’s walking distance to major sights. I highly recommend this hotel. I would definitely come back again to this one. I had a great experience.

Had a lovely stay at this hotel. Staff went out of their way to provide information and assistance. Hotel is exceptionally clean. Bed and bedding comfortable and room had a small fridge and coffee / tea kettle etc. Would have liked more shelf space in the bathroom but that is really the only minor complaint.

Best deal possible in the old town in Baku! Ibraham was INCREDIBLY helpful and kind, helping me with my luggage, pointing me to get money changed and calling me a car. His 5 star attentive help and good english made me feel at home right away! Great hotel, in a great location with an even greater price!

We booked our accommodation quite late for the Formula 1 weekend and we were able to secure a reasonably priced room at Qiz Qalasi Hotel. It is further into Old City, near Muhammad Mosque, and it gave us a chance to explore so much of the little shops and alleyways in Old City. Walking to the Palace of the Shirvanshahs/Philharmonia Garden, and Nizami Park both take about ten minutes. We were lucky enough to be hosted in one of their new rooms which features traditional designs and tapestry, and a lot of natural light. Echoing other reviewer’s comments, our room was also exceptionally clean and well-equipped (including a good range of toiletries). Water temperature and pressure were also decent. The one thing that would make the room even better is a mirror outside of the bathroom. Big shoutout to our concierge, Murad! He was so hospitable and friendly from the day we made the booking to the evening that we departed. We landed in the early morning hours and departed late. He was happy storing our luggage for us before check-in/after check-out, as well as being flexible with check-out time. He also assisted us with booking both ways of our airport transfer (competitive pricing). The hotel has partnered with another restaurant with amazing view of the Maiden Tower and we received complementary breakfast on our first day as a welcome gift which was extremely generous. Very happy with our stay - I highly recommend staying at Qiz Qalasi Hotel to maximise your experience in Old City!

Placed in the heart of the Old Town on the silent street, the hotel provided high quality service. There was a great view from the windows and balcony. The owner Murad was very helpful and friendly. Hotel offers breakfast nearby. It costs 15 Azn. Overall Qiz Qalasi is an amazing place for stay.

The hotel is located in a narrow inclined street with lots of stairs. And it's impossible to find parking nearby (for which you have to pay AZN 25 extra) so you will have to carry all your luggage yourself all the way. There is no help offered by the hotel whatsoever. The lift was so small that you could only fit one adult with a stroller and it looked like it was going to break anytime. The wifi was useless and it kept disconnecting over and over again. Room had mosquitoes and it looked very old. We didn't get extra pillows for our children. Ground floor of the hotel looked under construction. I really don't understand how they call this a 4 star hotel. And worst of all was the staff which is the most unprofessional staff I've ever come across. They didn't ask for any payment during check-in and check-out so I assumed that it has already been paid by *********** and left. They accused me of "running away" without paying any money and kept sending me threatening messages. I don't understand how anyone can have such unprofessional and untrained staff who don't know how to politely communicate with customers.

It was the first time I had been in Baku. And I think that I was lucky because I stayed in this hotel. Everything is perfect about the hotel. tidy and clean rooms, very kind staff, and the location. You can go anywhere in Icheriseher by walking. There was also elevator in the building. Without any doubt, I can recommend this hotel to everyone.
