Amazing accommodation. Beautiful friendly staff. Great food in restaurant & great breakfast. Rooms big clean & comfortable. Great water pressure in shower. The sea view rooms with balcony are spectacular and extra special at night. Bus stop right outside which takes you all the way down to town centre & then 5 min walk to beach & you take bus back up from same spot dropped you off all for $1.60 euros each way. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND & DEFINITELY GOING BACK!!

Excellent location to the beach and the main attractions and Rosa is a wonderful woman who runs a business but is also flexible. The Pros I found are that the hotel has its own beach chairs provided for its guests, no need to pay $25 for a chair. This is prime location for enjoying the beach. The scene is amazing and people with be taking picutres of you hanging out on your balcony all day. There are only 2 negatives we experienced on this stay, the shade umbrellas did not work, there was a review that touched on this and we figured they would have been fixed by now. If they working it would have greatly increased our enjoyment because the sun is blazing at times. The second negative is the restaurant L'incanto likes to play music extremely loud at random times of the night up to midnight. DO NOT eat there or drink there, it is a tourist trap with high priced low quality food and drinks. Otherwise our stay was enjoyable for a couple. We stayed for 3 nights and it was enough for this small town.

A magnificent property with an attentive staff. The excellent courtesy transportation provided via van or boat was only minutes from Positano. The hotel also arranged an excellent private driver to see Amalfi and Ravello. The property is perfectly positioned to enjoy both breathtaking sunrises and sunsets. Magnificent experience. Can't wait to return.

My son and I stayed here for three nights last week. We were upgraded to the little suite above the little market, which was a surprise treat. The staff was amazing. Claudia at reception was impressive and speaks PERFECT English, tremendously fabulous service. The restaurant staff were all the best, beyond friendly and helpful. Great view and awesome location in Positano. We ate one dinner at the hotel and loved it, so good. I wish I could go back. We definitely recommend this hotel!

Wow what an amazing place to stay! From the moment we arrived the two ladies from Alcoine Residence (So sorry unsure on names) could not been more helpful. Yes it is not a hotel but the service they provide is much more personable. We had a 2 bedroom apartment which was incredibly clean and the view from our balcony was amazing! We loved choosing our breakfast and eating it on the balcony every morning. The facilities were amazing. One night we had our own dinner from the pizzeria and deli - the views were breathtaking. They also booked us a transfer back to the airport and booked us dinner reservations. We Would highly recommend staying here!!!

We loved everything about this hotel. From the friendly staff, the breakfast and of course the views. The location was perfect for us! We love to stroll down to enjoy the views. Shops and places to eat everywhere, no need a car. To have a cappuccino, fresh squeezed oj, various pastries and a chef waiting to cook you eggs every morning and eat in an open sea view was just heaven. The staff was always glad to greet you and made us feel at home. Thank you to Katia and all her team for always willing to help us. And for Sicilia and Dimitri for preparing breakfast every morning. Seriously we are missing it all! We can't wait to go back!

Hotel L'Ancora, Via Cristoforo Colombo 36, 84011, Positano does not have parking so you’ll either need to arrange parking at one of the covered parking options in the town (which can be booked in advance but be careful of the one-way system in operation because if you accidentally drive past the parking garage you’ll need to circle the entire town and approach it again) and wheel your suitcase to the hotel or take advantage of the hotel valet parking option. The restaurant (where we saw Asian potential customers being turned away for no apparent reason by the staff) and reception are at street level and due to the location on a cliffside you need to take internal stairs or the elevator down to your room. Our Classic room had a balcony with a wonderful sea view. The views are definitely the selling point of this hotel and we’ll never forget the wonderful sunsets from our balcony. The room was clean, comfortable, safe and well-provisioned (sea view balcony, air conditioning, safe, minibar, hairdryer, satellite tv, etc.) This hotel is a good option if you’re staying in Positano being close to all the amenities and to the beach but to be honest it’s unremarkable especially considering the price.

Hotel location was a bit of a hike from the ferry but the view and getting away from the crowds makes it worth it. Room was very clean and comfortable. We were upgraded to an amazing balcony room with our own terrace. Paolo at the front desk was awesome. Very helpful with suggestions, directions, and arranging porter services. Pool was a little chilly but that area and the view was very nice. We used the beach club daily. Having this option makes this one of the best hotel options in Positano. Would highly recommend.

Albergo Miramare will hands down be our go to hotel in Positano. My husband and I both agree the location of Albergo Miramare is ideal when traveling to Positano. It is located in the middle so you walk down a few flights of stairs from the main road or down several flights to the beach depending on where you are going. Whether you are going up to the main road for dinner or down to the dock for a boat tour, you minimize climbing stairs with this prime location. Don't get me wrong there are stairs on all paths but we found our hotel to be in the best possible spot as opposed to being located at the top of the mountain creating a long climb home each day or at the bottom where you would have a long climb up each day. Beyond the ideal location, here are the other reasons my family will look no further for hotel accommodations when traveling to Positano. Staff: The staff were so easy to communicate with from the very beginning. After booking our apartment for the week, my husband's work conference dates changed in Sicily. I emailed the staff at Albergo Miramare and within hours they adjusted our dates with no issues. Danielle and Nicola were incredible with arranging transfers to and from the airport for my family. They assisted us in chartering a private boat to Capri which was our favorite day of the trip. Every staff member we encountered from reception, porter service , housekeeping and restaurant staff were all friendly and professional. Room: We booked the apartment for our family of four. Our apartment was located across the steps from the reception office and only a few steps up from the hotel restaurant. The apartment had two bedrooms, two full baths, two closets, a small lounge area in the master bedroom and a full living area between the two bedrooms and hallway connecting the two bedrooms. The apartment was spacious and having the full living area was a nice feature when taking breaks from the heat during the day. The air conditioning was of US standard as it really cooled the entire apartment unlike many other air conditioning units we have experienced in our travels abroad. The beds and pillows were soft and comfortable which made for a good nights sleep. Housekeeping changed sheets and replaced towels daily. The private balcony was the icing on the cake for us. It was spacious with two tables for enjoying dinner and four lounge chairs for resting and enjoying the views. The view was so picturesque from our private balcony. Restaurant: The breakfast included in our room rate was served daily from 7:30-10:30 in La Scalinatella. The restaurant was just beautiful with a paper tree draping from the ceiling and walls. The views from the restaurant are the best you will find in Positano. Each morning there was a diverse buffet served with fresh fruit, cooked vegetables, cheese selections, sliced meat selections, eggs (boiled, scrambled and fried), bacon, sausage and hash browns.
