The hotel is a great place to stay with. Receptionist named Neomi was very nice, kind and listening. The hotels surrounding garden and parking is great as well. (without the above I would give a rating of terrible) Breakfast is medium minus - we have expected far and beyond from a Sheraton/Marriot property.... The only one thing that really upset us was an incident where my laptop wireless mouse and keyboard were missing one AA battery. I went down to reception at 7:15am and asked for help - the best idea the team there had to provide is to go outside the hotel and find a shop. I've asked them to be a bit more creative - and they agreed to ask their maintenance department. When I can back at 8:00 the answer was still negative - maintenance department has no batteries. Given such a big place with so many electrical devices to handle - I was quite shocked and asked to share this incident with the duty manager upon my checkout - she is busy I was told. I left my mobile number and asked her to call me once she is free....I'm waiting for her call up until now... Conclusion - if duty manager provides such guest experience, why the other team members will not behave the same?!

It was a wonderful stay. Pros: * The rooms are very spacious and have beautiful views * Breakfast was good, plenty of options but till 10am on weekdays. And they really start taking away all the food at 10am. * Right in the center of the city, you can walk anywhere * They keep your suitcases after checkout. I asked them if I can come back for them later that day, and they were nice and kept them. Cons *No coffee machine in room. They do have a fridge though. *No iron in room but they do have an ironing room *No parking, but down the street there is free parking, a 8 min walk. I easily found a parking at 10.30pm

Tempat permata yang luar biasa ini. Sekiranya anda dapat bilik dengan pemandangan lakukanlah !!! Ia berada di tengah-tengah segalanya namun cukup peribadi untuk membuat anda merasa berada di mana-mana. Anda mesti mencuba tempat gelato yang memenangi anugerah! Restorannya hebat, penjelajahannya bagus. Terdapat sebuah taman di atas menara. Tempat gambar yang menakjubkan.

A beautiful hotel in the Tuscan hills, right from when you drive in the gates you can tell you’ve made a great decision. Old wood charm mixed with lovely facilities. The pool areas are wonderful our room was large and well appointed and so efficiently maintained during our stay. Having breakfast on the terrace in the morning was so relaxing. My one and only criticism is that although the food in the main restaurant was good the service was not up to the standard you would expect from a hotel of this class and cost something that other guests concurred with.

Nice big room. They gave me a balcony room. Front desk staff was a little over the top and asked me a lot of personal questions. I had a friend come by for breakfast and they called an asked if he was staying. I was sleeping and he left hours ago so I thought it was weird. I also declined maid service one day and then someone had come into my room and left towels in the bed so that kinda creeped me out. They didn’t leave enough toilet paper. And why leave it on the bed and not make the bed? $5 euros for a big towel to use which is kinda chintzy to charge your guests for a towel when you’re a spa hotel. Pool was very nice and heated to about 90 degrees so like a warm bath. The pool area was noisy though so it ruined the atmosphere. They should install speaker system with relaxing music to help guests relax more. I didn’t use the spa area as there was no jacuzzi only steam room and sauna. Breakfast was pretty good. Blood orange juice which I loved and the coffee was delicious. Wait staff was friendly and fast serving for the coffee: thanks for my waiter for his cheerful attitude and smile during my stay.

We visited this property just as the weather was beginning to change to fall. Second week of September. Our week was glorious. We were in a terrace suite, Etruria 053 that was just a lovely and very quiet (location). The view was amazing from the room. So peaceful. Did not love the shower set up, but other than that, great large space. We are active 55 yr olds. The walk in the morning to breakfast is a little much before you have coffee. Uphill, lots of steps, but it's the price you pay for tranquility. The food at Belmond was beyond our expectations. We do not normally prefer to eat on site, but this was an exception. Breakfast was fantastic. We loved Sara taking great care of us each morning. Tosca was lovely. We did the truffle hunt (so fun, great guide) with truffle dinner at Tosca after. Just a fabulous meal. Giovani was on point for meals at Tosca. Emporio had incredible pizza. Enzo and Andrew (who led a wonderful! pizza class for us) do a really good job here. We were in the Tuscan region for a whole month. We did not have a better pizza than what they created for us. But don't forget the Bar. What a place to watch sunset and then slip inside for a delightful meal, incredible drinks and warm hospitality. We will miss the Tuscan Soup for a long time. On the very rainy day we arrived, Andrew greeted us in the Bar and was just a warm welcome to the hotel, pouring wine, getting us a perfect ”don't ruin your dinner” snack and telling us all about his home, Volterra, which prompted us to make Volterra our first day trip from the hotel. If you are at the hotel on a Sunday, the festa is not to be missed. True Tuscan brunch. Day trips were a breeze as we let Romina (head concierge) and Elena (guest relations) book our incredible lunches in the towns we visited. They would map out our day for us perfectly. They are a huge asset to the hotel. Do not miss the spa. Our massages were top notch and the facility is just the perfect place of repose. I could have spent a lot more time here. Belmond Castello di Casole is a very special place. Our next 3 weeks in Tuscany were amazing, but nothing quite as special as this. You can physically feel the warm heartbeat of this place.

We had a 1 night stay at the hotel during a tour around Tuscany . The hotel has various accommodation options ours was a classic room within the hotel which was roomy and had its own loft bedroom . A warning that there is no lift to the upper floors but helpful staff to assist with baggage etc. the hotel grounds and gardens are huge with the dinning and bar at an Annex building with the pool adjacent which you need to walk to outside from the hotel to the pool which is nice on a lovely evening and if raining there is plenty of brollys available . The pool looked great , the bar well stocked and the barman always at hand . The dining was super especially the steak option . The staff over all were friendly and always available . We did end up with a flat tyre which the staff were there on hand to help change the wheel and then give assistance to find a suitable garage and directions for use to get there only 10 - 15mins away. Was very much appreciated and ended didn’t give much impact to our holiday. Would definitely recommend this hotel and ideal location for visiting the local towns like Sienna .
