We stayed here for two nights in December 2023. Our unit (three bedrooms) was simply huge. A family could live here. It has everything that you would ever need. The kitchen was well equipped, there was a washing machine and dryer for clothes etc. The hotel is located about a 3-minute drive from central Wanaka and a 20-minute walk along a nice walking track. The only reason for which I'm giving four stars instead of five is that the main living area got very hot in the afternoon (on a summer day, 20 degrees Celsius). There was no air conditioning, so the room was unbearably hot. The bedrooms that face the other side were much cooler. Then, the next morning, the bedrooms got extremely hot right from early morning and there was no way to cool them down, while the main living area was at a comfortable temperature. The unit could benefit from something to control the temperature. Other than that and maybe the fact that the TV had limited channels and reception cut out a bit, this is a very good place to stay.

The place was nice enough - decent rooms, nice lounge area, hot tub (though it took a couple of hours to heat up past lukewarm), and the breakfast was tasty. But the owner snatched defeat from the jaws of victory at the end - we popped in to grab a cup of coffee a couple hours after checking out, and were rudely told ”you're like bad pennies, can't get rid of you” (not in a lighthearted way) and admonished ”you really shouldn't be here. Other guests are checking in. You need to leave as soon as possible.” I suppose it's fair to say that guests should not swing by after checking out, but there was no need for that level of rudeness to save 5 cents on a cup of coffee. A shame, left a bad taste in our mouth after an otherwise nice stay

We were in Wanaka for two nights just after Christmas, so accommodation was short to come by. Great value for money and so close to the centre for access to restaurants & shops. Room was spacious with ground floor and access to small patio area. Kitchen had everything we needed & shower was great. Would definitely stay again

Constant hassle from check in to attend their timeshare presentations, including early morning phone calls to the room and interception when walking around! Room was ok, expensive for what it was and the sloped roof meant no sleep during night time rain. No breakfast available unless you attended their presentation! 1 e-bike for the whole resort and no facility to book other bikes, so they were all taken. Swimming pool was minuscule, looked nothing like the photos.

The welcome was very pleasant and the room we were allocated was indeed the quiet room we’d requested upon booking. We were upstairs with something of a lake view in a room that looked as though it had recently been re-furbished. The room was clean and comfortable and access to the car park via a set of stairs from the corridor made loading and unloading much easier than if we’d had to access our room from front reception, in what is quite a large building. There is a bar adjacent to the front entrance and a restaurant at the rear (which was closed during our stay) and I don’t know what impact they would have had upon our desire for a quiet room had they been going full swing of a weekend.

This was our second stay, and hopefully not our last. Staff were friendly and very helpful, allowing us an early check-in. We had a one-bedroom upstairs unit (sleeps four), comfy couch, lovely sunny deck, washing machine and dryer, spa bath, great kitchen, full size frig/freezer, stove, dishwasher, allocated parking spot and very handy to town (3 minute walk). Everything in excellent condition. Close to heaps of restaurants, food-trucks, and supermarket.

服務態度一般，我們帶了個孩子入住，確實不清楚不可以帶，而且沒房了，我們想着到店補孩子的費用就好。但工作人員有點直接覺得我們是想要省錢，並且不誠實之類的…還好我英語不錯一頓解釋

非常好 位置也很贊 去瓦納卡湖還有超市都是十分鐘之內的路程。而且老闆人很奈斯，旅館也很周到晚上會用毛巾幫我們遮住車窗防止結冰真的很貼心。屋子裡麪也是應有盡有。乾淨整潔真的很滿意！早上起來打開門又衹有小貓咪主動進來待着不走了要吃我的漢堡太有趣了。

PPengguna TetamuAfter dawdling through the alpine beauty of Haast Pass, and descending down SH6, passing-by Lake Hawea to Wanaka, we were challenged to find our accommodation. The lodge is positioned in the south part of the town, off Ardmore St, the waterfront, driving up Helwick St. passed several shops on both sides, crossing two roads Brownston and Upton, to Warren Street, down sharply on the left. We were given a spacious room, with a large king bed, and an outside seating area with views towards Cardrona Resort and Mt Aspiring National Park. There were a couple of areas, the kitchen/dining room and a sitting room/lounge, shared with other residents and a reception manned mid-afternoon until late afternoon/ early evening. Access later was via a secure digital locked door. The arrangements were unusual, but perfectly comfortable and quiet on the edge of the town centre, with restaurants and shops within easy walking down Helwick Street. We had time to swim in the lake on the two days we stayed in Wanaka, both days hot around 30c in mid-afternoon, relieved by plunging into the icy lake wqters. The experience contrasted with the daily cold-water swim our daughter had introduced us to back up in the Bay of Plenty, it was noticeably clearer, not buoyant like sea-water.

PPengguna TetamuWe were greeted by mark who was friendly and welcoming . He gave us lots of information about things to do and where to go. The unit was clean and large. It had an air conditioning unit in the lounge, which we did not have to use. It was very light and airy with large windows which allowed a lot of air in to cool the rooms if necessary. Good range of kitchen utensils and cooking equipment Shower was powerful and clean. The bed was very comfortable Free parking was a bonus It takes about 25 mins to walk into town , where there are large number of restaurants or a 5 minute drive with loads of parking , although we were there over a weekend so the parking was restricted as Wanaka was very busy

PPengguna TetamuRight in the center of Wanaka, only a few minutes walk to the lake and restaurants, with a huge supermarket right beside the motel. Beautiful wood interior, but you must be aware of the downside as they can create wood cracking sound during sunrise when temperature gets higher, so don't be alarmed by that. The beddings are comfortable, wifi is fast and shower is strong. Overall this is a great value and convenient place to stay in Wanaka
