The hotel location is tucked into the woods with pine trees. All the staff members are super helpful and nice. They are also knowledgeable about private shuttles (Mr. Les). The bed is so comfortable that I slept like a log. The restaurant serves excellent mouth-watering cheeseburgers. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Idyllwild.

the hotel was lovely, room nicely appointed. Lobby offerings for coffee and snacks were very nice. Nikki in particular was friendly, informative, and helpful. I wanted to book a massage at the spa, and was told by the spa, they are not part of the hotel and require 48 hrs notice, as therapists are on call. So 1/2 the reason I stayed there was for that, which is not advertised that way. at about 3:45 am I was awaken by someone trying to get in my room. Figuring it was a mistake, I yelled out wrong room. about 30 sec later, they tried again with more vigor. I called the front desk, and colin said he'd go check it out. he called me a few min later said he saw no one. while on the phone with him a stronger attempt was made by ”no-one”. I let out a scream, and told him he needed to help me. I said I was packing my stuff up and wanted an escort out of my room. he came up about 5-10 min later and I went to there lobby, about 5:00 am. Where I waited until about 8:30 am until it was light out and could go somewhere. Safety there is an issue. staff does not know how to handle such an event. Police should have been called after 2nd attempt. ”this has never happened before” is not the proper response. My trip was ruined, and a good hotel went bad in a hurry.

The hotel is situated in an excellent location, making it convenient for exploring the surrounding area. The staff members are exceptionally friendly and welcoming, always ready to assist with any requests or questions. One of the highlights of the stay was the availability of quality bicycles, perfect for leisurely rides around the city or nearby attractions. This combination of a prime location, attentive service, and thoughtful amenities makes for a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

The location is fantastic. There are plenty of good restaurants, bars, shops within walking distance and walking is easy since the city of Palm Springs is basically flat! I parked in the hotel lot and walked everywhere I wanted to go. The hotel does not have a restaurant or bar but I knew this when I booked so no problem. They do have a small cantina type room where you can buy snacks, some sandwiches, drinks, coffee, etc and ice machines everywhere. The service was very good, all employees where helpful and friendly. My room was very clean and good sized with a large bathroom. The room location was also good, on the ground floor near the pool with a view of a parklike courtyard. The pool was large and crowded (I arrived on Saturday afternoon) and everyone seemed to be having a good time. I took a dip the next morning right after maintenance finished cleaning the pool and was the only one there, it was great! I will definitely stay again at the Palm Mountain Resort.

Everything is good but when we had breakfast buffet i thought its only $16 per pax its in your apps but we got billed its $30 per person so 2 person is $60 too much for a breakfast as i dont really eat much...

Palm Desert Suites more than exceeded my expectations! No contact check-in was very easy. The staff replied quickly to any of my texts. The room was spacious, newly remodeled with a full kitchen! There was a full sized refrigerator and stove, microwave, dishwasher, toaster oven and coffee maker. The bed was very comfortable and everything was very clean. The bathroom was large with double sinks and sparkling clean. The location was quiet with a pool close by. Really lovely place! Highly recommended! Palm Desert Suites will absolutely be on the top of my list the next time I stay in Palm Desert! The big bonus, the price was excellent! Thanks!!

Beautiful, charming and aesthetic renovations to the interiors of the property and pool grounds. However, when you drive up, the exterior could benefit from a fresh coat of paint on the classic, 70s aesthetic rock. If you didn’t know the property had been updated, you would be an off-put. Once inside, the lobby, restaurant and rooms have been redone to a mid-century vibe. The hotel still has a retro vibe and is Instagram-worthy. Although aesthetics have been updated, the infrastructure remains. I was on the ground floor & could hear the footsteps of guests above walking back and forth in the early morning. Around 3am, I heard those guests or ones next door arriving back to their room. I would choose a higher floor if I returned. TV uses Apple TV which was annoying having to log in. Finally logged in and it said the tv had to be updated to a newer version. Would be better if they didn’t use this interface and just had commonly used apps everyone could log into like Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc. I gave up & ended up scrolling my phone at 10pm. Pool area has a lovely bar I didn’t get to experience, but lots of seating areas, a cornhole area and cabanas and open loungers. Pool ranges from 3-8 feet, nothing huge and was moderately heated for a 10:30am swim. No jacuzzi unfortunately. Other: Hotel uses Le Labo products. There is an elevator on the property. Free parking onsite. Located at the end of Palm Canyon Dr. so short drive to downtown, but not as walkable is one downside. All in all, great property!

I traveled spontaneously to Palm Springs for Indian Well finals and was able to book my hotel with an option for a full refund up until 5 days before my trip which was nice bc I was flying standby so was taking a chance! I arrived early and was able to check in and have my luggage held early while my room was being prepared and grabbed lunch and a drink at the bar (Denaya was lovely) and then head to the pool to relax! Room was clean, while staff was helpful and friendly. Location was great. There was not a shuttle available to tennis stadium as website said but I was able to pick one up at neighboring hotel. I rented a car and with in 5-10 min I was able to go grab drinks/dinner and a 45 min drive to Joshua tree national park was a bonus and a local trail only 15 min away as well. When I return for the tournament again I will more than likely stay here again!

I really wanted to love it, however the fun vibe I thought it would have was just covering a very old hotel. The halls had a horrible smell( maybe like carpet glue) you could hear everything through the walls. The service seemed ok but we were only their for one night. We did get a complimentary margarita and it was walking distance to a grocery store and restaurants. The grounds were cute and they had bikes you could use. Don’t know if you had to pay or not. I would not stay again because for me cleanliness is top priority and even though the rooms seemed clean enough it still felt dirty

The motel was a very noisy place! The walls were very thin and our neighbors in every direction were always yelling and arguing. Even the people upstairs! That was at night. But it was every night! During the day it quieted down. I got the impression that the place was a ”by the week”, where people lived. Our impression of the town (Cathedral City/Palm Springs/ Rancho Mirage/etc.) was that it was very unfriendly. Everyone we encountered seemed to be stand offish and clicky. Not a friendly place at all. We will not be coming back for sure!
