One of the best hotels I’ve had the pleasure of staying at. The service, environment, food (breakfast is excellent (especially French toast), rooms and location is superb! I have nothing else to say apart from well worth the money and visit. I think people don’t tend to stay for more than a few days as there isn’t much to do but stayed for 5 days. We should have explored Bale and off site restaurants more but it’s difficult without a car as you’re a little isolated.

Beautiful property centrally located in Istria. We loved the vineyards and olive grove on the property and the beautiful outdoor dining at breakfast and dinner. Our room was very comfortable. Only improvement would be better lighting in the bathroom. I also had a fantastic massage and went to a complimentary yoga class.

Before dinner we visited the hotel's winery and added wine tasting, the place is beautiful but the wine served was not amazing, you can skip the wine tasting and enjoy quality white and red wine in the restaurant. The wine served at the tasting was mediocre, lots of white and vibrant, not serious and not for wine lovers. On the other hand the restaurant was excellent, the staff service minded and the place is really lovely and very reminiscent of Tuscany. The place is relatively expensive compared to Croatia, suitable to celebrate a special event

Really a beautiful set of buildings. It was hard to determine if this is a vineyard operating a hotel on the side or a hotel with an operational vineyard, and we decided that it is the latter. The hotel is quite large and is marketing new homes to be built on the property, which seemed to make it clear that the business here is hospitality more than agriculture. So a stay at a working farm it isn't really - more a stay at a spa hotel set in the middle of a working farm. The "rooms" were really rowhouses with two floors, holding a very spacious sitting and dining room on the ground floor and the bedroom on the second level. It was all quite attractive, including the expansive and interesting main bathroom (there is also a small powder room on the ground floor). The room also had a nice sitting area in a mostly private small garden, which we did not use but looked quite lovely if you wanted to just relax with some privacy. The spa area and pool are nice, if not what one might expect at a larger spa resort. The breakfast (which was not a buffet) was quite nice, with good breads and an expansive list of eggs and other main dishes to choose from. The dinner was fine too, and both are served in an attractive glass-heavy room that provides good natural light. The service itself was more functional than professional, but that is perhaps due to the staffing difficulties still being faced in the hospitality industry. Do note that the locations is quite isolated and one would need a car (or good bike ride) to really get anywhere. This is thus a place to stay and relax, not be used as a base for walking to see local sights. You can also walk through the property to the hotel's beach, though note that this is of the large pebble variety as is common in the region.

Beautiful hotel in southern Istria. We were in a very comfortable “Residence” on two floors with a large bedroom, sitting room and bathroom. The estate is surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. Food in the restaurant was very good and the staff were all delightful and very helpful. Excellent selection of own estate local wines and olive oils - delicious. A short drive to Pula and Rovinj and so nice to be away from the hustle and bustle.

One of our favorite hotels we maybe stayed at across the world. The hotel is obviously not cheap but when we think about staying in our own little villa with a private pool, it’s hard to not think the price would be double if you were across the border in Italy. The kids slept down below and had plenty of room although obviously there was not a door which would have been ideal. Having their own bathroom downstairs though it worked quite well. They loved the private pool so much that we never went to the main pool. The dinner we had at the hotel was one of the best we had in Croatia. We didn’t eat there a second time as we had lunch at the hotel once too and the menu is a bit limited. Breakfast was good with a nice basket of bread, meat and cheese. We also did a wine tasting at the winery which we enjoyed. The masseuse was intense but I enjoyed the hard pressure. We would also say Pula is worth the trip as we enjoyed spending half a day or so there. The only complaint is that they weren’t the most thorough cleaners. They could have maybe run a vacuum when they did their daily cleaning. You would just expect this in this caliber of the hotel.

Staff is great, and we had lovely rooms. One of them had a fireplace, which the staff was super helpful in lighting whenever we needed it. Spa was great, including amazing massages. I personally didn’t love the restaurant, which I was surprised by since the chef is quite renowned. It was very good, just not amazing enough to justify the price. We ate in Rovinj other nights and had better meals that were cheaper. I also am not the biggest fan of their wine, but I think that’s more personal preference. We used the bikes a couple of days, which was great. The staff who helped with the bikes weren’t particularly warm or apologetic when they forgot to tell us one of entrances to the property, which many signs will point you to, was closed after we had biked around to it for several kilometers. But otherwise the staff were great. Overall, I’d come back again in the winter and think it’s a nice property with nice people.

I highly recommend to all people who decide to go visit this place to see in what conditions do their workers live and how much they pay them. Their workers live in extremely inhumane conditions. They live in containers full of mold in every corner and they have a hole into which the hornets enter. Is it realistic that worker are being humiliated like this???

We spent one week at this amazing hotel and winery. From the moment we entered through the charming gates and down the tree-lined path that leads to the hotel, we were very impressed. The staff are exceptional in their service and thoughtfulness. We never had to ask for anything twice and they went above and beyond to ensure a wonderful experience was had by all of us. A true 5 star experience. The food was beyond delicious and I will be dreaming about the fresh breads, olive oils, gourmet dinners (which deserve a Michelin rating in my opinion) and breakfasts. The beach bar and pool areas are luxurious and well kept. And the wine tasting was superb. The rooms and villas are beautifully decorated and very charming. We will definitely be back to enjoy this hotel again.
