Renaissance Bali Uluwatu Resort & Spa is an amazing place to unwind, whether you’re with family or friends or sole travelers.t’s the perfect escape from noisy areas and heavy traffic, offering a peaceful atmosphere high on the top of Bali with breathtaking views all around. Everything about this resort stands out — from the warm, professional employees to the exceptional cleanliness and attention to detail. A big thanks to the entire team for their outstanding support throughout my stay. If they could add a few more amenities, it would be an even greater plus and elevate the overall experience. Truly a Super Star ⭐️ destination.

Excellent service, clean and comfortable rooms, but facilities are a bit old. We were allowed an early check in and got upgraded to a junior suite which was a pleasant surprise. The room was chosen with consideration that we were attending a wedding so the room was located conveniently right next to the wedding which we were attending. We could not make it in time for breakfast because we had to catch an early flight, we were delivered a wholesome breakfast in the morning upon request.

The design of the whole hotel is beautiful especially the view of the swimming pool area. The breakfast is good and the food delivery at room is also delicious. The staff are very polite and helpful. There is also table tennis table provided for playing. Upon request of late check out, prompt arrangement is made to the convenient of the customer. Worth staying while at Uluwatu.

Healthy rainy day on the first day we arrived the hotel but the experience of stay is awesome, definitely can release the mind and uphold the healthy lifestyle in here. Have 5 different classes such as cycling, yoga, boxing to free to join everyday, can enjoy the amazing infinity pool, and the sauna which located in spa area

Getting around by taxi was easy. The hotel breakfast was good, but the water quality wasn't great; I broke out in a rash after showering on the first day.

The hotel boasts stunning views and comfortable, well-appointed rooms. The staff are friendly, polite, and attentive, ensuring a pleasant stay. The location may not be the most convenient, but as long as you plan to stay on-site for your entire trip, it shouldn’t be an issue. It’s an excellent choice for both couples and families looking for a relaxing getaway.

Big established hotel. A little out dated. Not convenient to other places in Uluwatu. There is construction outside and within hotel. We had sad/ no view in our room. We booked a loft room as we were with toddler and nanny, room was comfortable size for everyone. They placed us near a wedding that weekend and they had loud music. Our toddler could not sleeping, at times the music was so loud we felt the vibrations. They saw we were travelling with child, so they should mention this when we checked in. For the price, we are not returning.

The room is comfortable and clean. Just the view is not impressed.

The hotel is comfortable, and there are many breakfast options. The Indonesian restaurant is also worth a try. You'll need a taxi for getting around. Daily shuttle service to Pandawa Beach and Roosterfish Beach Club: Didn't experience. Complimentary smoothie at the pool area: Didn't experience. One 30-minute professional photoshoot: Didn't experience. Overall, it's pretty good and I'd recommend it.

Facilities: This was the third hotel on our trip, and the facilities felt relatively new. We booked a Deluxe King room, which is their most basic category. The king bed was 1.8 meters wide, perfectly sufficient for us and our child. The room wasn't particularly large and didn't have a sofa or table, so we mostly had to sit on the bed. However, the Renaissance Uluwatu clearly prioritized the bathroom, featuring double sinks and a large bathtub. The balcony also had a table and chairs, which was convenient for drying swimwear after a dip. I've always loved the scent of their toiletries. [Highlight 1] The Kids' Club offers a wide array of activities and is very well-equipped. Children can do crafts, play games, watch movies, and even feed the hotel's resident owls. The Club features foosball, a kids' pool table, and three PlayStations (mostly offering child-friendly games). It's a perfect place for kids to freely explore and enjoy themselves. [Highlight 2] Strictly speaking, the hotel has three restaurants: Clay, Ikat, and Roosterfish (the Renaissance's 'enclave' restaurant at Pandawa Beach). Roosterfish is highly recommended. The ingredients are fresh, the seasoning is excellent, and the portions are generous. It requires a shuttle ride to get there, but you're rewarded with fantastic sea views. Next, I'd recommend Ikat, located within the main hotel complex, right by the large infinity pool. It serves Indonesian cuisine, a blend of traditional and modern flavors. While the portions are average, the taste, ingredients, service, and ambiance are all excellent. [Highlight 3] The hotel's design language evokes a grand sense of embracing nature. Built into the hillside, the lobby is situated on the highest floor. Multiple curved buildings are oriented in the same direction, staggered left and right to form a wing-like extension. Each individual building is typically only 5 to 6 stories tall, which provides a good sense of space. Different wings are connected by skywalks on various levels, and functional areas (restaurants, pools, gym, kids' club, banquet halls, etc.) are distributed across these different wings. First-time guests might find it complex, almost like a maze, while others might appreciate its unique charm. Hygiene: The room had no noticeable dust traps or unclean corners. Public areas of the hotel were kept clean and well-maintained in a timely manner. Environment: The main characteristic is the hotel's hillside location. To go out for meals or shopping, you either need a taxi or the shuttle bus. It's not like the Indigo Seminyak where you can easily walk out to explore and dine. However, the hotel's shuttle bus provides direct access to their Roosterfish Beach Club, located near the beach along the cliffside road, which somewhat compensates for not being directly on the beach. If you're comfortable with this, you'll likely appreciate the hotel's unique offerings. Service: Excellent. Among the three hotels we stayed at in Bali, the staff's attitude was consistently great. When Pram at the front desk learned we had an early 6 AM flight the next day, he arranged a generous breakfast box (featuring special fried noodles, croissants, fried eggs, fruit, coffee, juice, etc.) and ensured it was delivered punctually at checkout. I really enjoyed my stay at the Renaissance and will definitely consider their properties in other locations in the future.

The premise is vast and extremely gorgeous, and it looks exactly like those in the pictures. The breakfast is in buffet style, both quality and variety are excellent. Every single staff has been extremely pleasant and helpful. This is so far the best Renaissance/Marriot property I’ve stayed at. I have already recommended it to friends and family.

It was a nice and relaxing stay. Just few things to consider if you book this resort: 1. It is quite isolated with nothing around. You have to take transport to get to restaurants, markets or beach. 2. The activity classes booked out quickly, even you book 1 day I advance it is not guaranteed. 3. Mosquitos overnight. The hotel provides room repellent but get some spray if you need.

I really love this hotel! It's clean, the service is great, and most importantly, the breakfast is delicious!! The pool area is also fantastic, and the sunset views are absolutely stunning.
