Great place to stay in Canggu walking distance to the beach and many restaurants in the area. They have a rooftop bar and pool party once a week.

A nice hotel, close to the beach and other local amenities. Nice pool area and friendly staff.

The place was good. Staff was amazing, helpful. Especially people at the bar.

Great stay. Room was spacious and clean! Facilities were good but pool seemed to close quite early. Friendly staff and breakfasts okay. Nothing too special. Happy hour could be a bit better to get people to the pool area. Overall a good value stay.

Don’t get fooled by the “getaway deal” online, $2200 down to $450!! You’re not getting a good deal, it’s just a promotion tactic. Location isn’t that great, but not terrible. Hotel itself looks very dated. The TV’s are terrible, which made for a very boring day when it was bucketing down with rain, we even brought our own GoogleTV box which we’ve used at multiple hotels, however The Sense wifi won’t allow you to connect the box to the network. I asked the front desk about this and she said it’s because their TV’s are older, even though I tried explaining to her that hot spotting from my mobile phone worked on the box in the room, so it’s got nothing to do with their TV as it worked from my phones wifi hotspot, she still insisted that it wasn’t the wifi, it was very frustrating trying to explain the situation. The room is advertised as having wifi, however it is restricted. We also spent 10minutes trying to work out how to turn the light off in our room, we eventually called someone in who had to go back and forward between 2 sets of lights switches on opposite sides of the room as if it was some secret pattern that had to be done to turn them off. We were booked for 3 nights, however we left after 1 night and found a much better place in a much better location. With all the hotel options in Canggu, I wouldn’t bother with Sense, you can find place 100x better at a better price.

For its value, it's a good hotel. It's clean enough, there's a large swimming pool and a dock staff.

I stayed here right before COVID. I like the location as it's not in the busy part of Canggu, yet it's only a short motorbike ride away. While developing with more restaurants and shops, this area is quiet at night!

My friend and I got really bad sandfly bites in the room and fell sick too. Good location. Not that many facilities in the hotel. Pool was nice to look at but mid at best. Take note: Rooms are large, toilets too and very wooden. With wood, it must have attracted sandflies.

The staff are not very friendly and welcoming. The area for breakfast is average as a lot of mosquitoes flying around and the breakfast is average too.

I think this is an area for people looking for a quiet stay. There are two or three relaxed restaurants nearby, but there aren't as many options as in the Kuta area. On the other hand, the restaurant next to the reception has a billiards table and blaring music all day. It's confusing as to whether you're looking for a quiet or lively stay. The hotel is low-rise and cottage-style, with first-floor rooms offering direct access to the pool. However, the pool is bordered by the wall of the neighboring building, so it lacks charm. It was nice that November was the off-season, so we were able to stay relatively cheap. Breakfast was not a buffet, but rather a choice of four dishes from a menu.

The room is quite big, the swimming pool is clean, and the beach is very close, about a 4-minute walk away. It is a little far from the city center, which makes it a little inconvenient to eat, but it is not bad if you are using a motorbike.
