Dreamsea Bali

Amazing view! Everything very clean, towels smelling so good. Staff friendly and helpful. The stairs are not so bad as everyone says. BUT, the surfcamp experience for who is not a very beginner, is not advisable. They only take beginners, with big boards, to the same surf spot. They don’t have any kind of instructors or support for who is not beginner and need some help to surf in Bali. Don’t have boards to rent, which is essential to any surfcamp. If you want a stay with amazing view and comfortable, it is very nice.

Dreamsea has been a gorgeous little stay. Unfortunately a little short but sweet the views are stunning, good location, staff are friendly and the rooms are very clean and cozy! Having a little restaurant below the accommodation is great, would definitely recommend staying here! We will be back!

We loved staying at Dreamsea the stunning location and crashing waves made the 300+ steps to get there worth it. The breakfasts were very tasty and we also ate dinner there a couple of nights which was good too. We liked all the staff who were friendly and attentive. There are also plenty of great places to eat up the steps on the main road. This is a perfect place to stay if you surf as you can paddle out to 3 great breaks from the doorstep. If you don't surf its still an amazing place to stay and great to watch all the action in the water while sipping a cocktail. We stayed a week and didn't want to leave.

I’ve got a room just above the kitchen and the reception. There was too much noise, the place was fully booked so they couldn’t give me another room. It was really annoying with the noise.. I don’t think that room should be a room for the guests. Not the money worth..

Omg so in accessible so many steep steps and staff so unhelpful in assisting with your bags upon arrival and departure. Walls paper thin that you can hear absolutely everything in the rooms next to you …. I mean everything 🥺 restaurant was poorly stocked and took forever to get your orders.

Amazingly placed small hotel in a beautiful location and ideal for watching the surf. The upstairs rooms have stunning views, are beautifully decorated and comfortable. The shared small rooms on the ground floor are very small and noisy with the sound of the restaurant, waves and neighbours in adjoining rooms.

It’s the view to die for. As many have said, ask for the corner room. The place is quaint. Not 5star. But comfortable. The staff there all very helpful (thank you!!). The breakfast is wonderful!! Again, with a great view of the ocean. Very steep stairs, so come prepared.

The hotel is really on the beach. there is access to a direct private beach. the rooms are unique with bamboo and wood ornaments. peaceful atmosphere with the sound of crashing waves. not suitable for too old age because access to this hotel requires going up and down stairs.

The location is incredible. We could see and hear Padang Left, Right and Impossibles from our room! Very special!! The rooms are good, but lack any real storage space. They look lovely and are furnished really well, but not very functional. We stayed in a room with an en-suite - but it was outside the room along the corridor. Ok, but we were expecting it to be within the room - first world problems, but keys and lights do make it a bit harder not to break your sleep in the middle of the night. The food is incredible. Slightly let down by quite slow service. The staff are great, but it’s all just a bit slow, and we had to ask for some drinks and water a few times. Everything we had was amazing, apart from the cream cheese bagel, which was lacking pretty much any cream cheese! The bagel was pretty stale too. Surf lessons were ok. One instructor (the lead, but forgot his name) was great, but the others were just ‘ok’. They were super safety conscious which was great, but did lack any sort of real guidance or tuition. On checkout we were asked to pay for our breakfasts (because we booked direct and took their discount) despite being told at the beginning and throughout that it was included. A little frustrating, but it was ironed out. I have to say I was SUPER impressed by the sustainability / eco consciousness of the resort. Zero plastic seen throughout our customer experience, all free mineral water refills and the beach was pristine. Well done! Overall - with the discount - I’d say it was good value for money - especially the food If we’d paid full price, I wouldn’t think the room was really up to scratch. Would come back again for the location… but realistically that’s probably it… A note on wall thickness - they are thin / woven walls. But actually, at no point did we ever feel like we didn’t have our own space / privacy.
