I’ve got a room just above the kitchen and the reception. There was too much noise, the place was fully booked so they couldn’t give me another room. It was really annoying with the noise.. I don’t think that room should be a room for the guests. Not the money worth..

Omg so in accessible so many steep steps and staff so unhelpful in assisting with your bags upon arrival and departure. Walls paper thin that you can hear absolutely everything in the rooms next to you …. I mean everything 🥺 restaurant was poorly stocked and took forever to get your orders.

Amazingly placed small hotel in a beautiful location and ideal for watching the surf. The upstairs rooms have stunning views, are beautifully decorated and comfortable. The shared small rooms on the ground floor are very small and noisy with the sound of the restaurant, waves and neighbours in adjoining rooms.

It’s the view to die for. As many have said, ask for the corner room. The place is quaint. Not 5star. But comfortable. The staff there all very helpful (thank you!!). The breakfast is wonderful!! Again, with a great view of the ocean. Very steep stairs, so come prepared.

The hotel is really on the beach. there is access to a direct private beach. the rooms are unique with bamboo and wood ornaments. peaceful atmosphere with the sound of crashing waves. not suitable for too old age because access to this hotel requires going up and down stairs.

The location is incredible. We could see and hear Padang Left, Right and Impossibles from our room! Very special!! The rooms are good, but lack any real storage space. They look lovely and are furnished really well, but not very functional. We stayed in a room with an en-suite - but it was outside the room along the corridor. Ok, but we were expecting it to be within the room - first world problems, but keys and lights do make it a bit harder not to break your sleep in the middle of the night. The food is incredible. Slightly let down by quite slow service. The staff are great, but it’s all just a bit slow, and we had to ask for some drinks and water a few times. Everything we had was amazing, apart from the cream cheese bagel, which was lacking pretty much any cream cheese! The bagel was pretty stale too. Surf lessons were ok. One instructor (the lead, but forgot his name) was great, but the others were just ‘ok’. They were super safety conscious which was great, but did lack any sort of real guidance or tuition. On checkout we were asked to pay for our breakfasts (because we booked direct and took their discount) despite being told at the beginning and throughout that it was included. A little frustrating, but it was ironed out. I have to say I was SUPER impressed by the sustainability / eco consciousness of the resort. Zero plastic seen throughout our customer experience, all free mineral water refills and the beach was pristine. Well done! Overall - with the discount - I’d say it was good value for money - especially the food If we’d paid full price, I wouldn’t think the room was really up to scratch. Would come back again for the location… but realistically that’s probably it… A note on wall thickness - they are thin / woven walls. But actually, at no point did we ever feel like we didn’t have our own space / privacy.

Best experience staying above the sea, and under the sky. Clean room, good atmosphere, good food, and of course, great view 😊 Lots of stairs making it a bit difficult for elderly people and children. But you can come here with friends and partner.

Ari really helpful and polite as a receptionist, he help me to find room with the best view, he’s willing to show me the room before I choose and bring my bag from 1 room to another room during transfer room, the hotel have amazing view, sleep with wave sound and view directly to the ocean was the best part of my trip.

Magnificent location, great for surfing out directly from the hotel. Beautifully curated rooms with a great sense of design. Stunning rooms in a stunning location....but depends which room you're in. We stayed in the shared small room downstairs with shared bathroom as well as a magnificent room upstairs. The area was quite noisy downstairs but the staff did turn off the "continuous music" playing when I asked and in general other guests were respectful of the thin walls and lack of privacy. The room upstairs (number 16) was absolutely stunning ! Unbeatable in view, quietness and the bed was extremely comfortable. Food options were great and tasty and reasonably priced.... Hotel mostly full of millenials. The steep stairs preclude baby boomers and children.
