Ulasan Sativa Sanur Cottages

Loved my stay and the cottages were great - spacious with decent amenities. The pool was fantastic. Multiple restaurants, servives, spas, etc. in the area. Even a big Pepito supermarket right outside the cottages. 2 issues: My specific room was a little bit damp. I could feel it on the sheets and smell it too. Second issue (specific to my room) was that it faced the balcony of another room. I had to close my curtain halfway to get a little more privacy but at the cost of less sunlight (needed in the damp room!). Other than that, I had a enjoyable stay.

This is a budget-friendly (a definite plus!) and quite decent hotel. While not brand new, everything is well-maintained and kept to a good standard. It's located in a very quiet area. With a relatively small number of rooms, you'll always find a free sun lounger by the pool. Each room is isolated from its neighbors, ensuring quiet even if you have noisy guests next door. The staff are friendly and respond quickly to any request. Rooms are cleaned daily, with fresh bedding and towel changes. You'll find all the basic amenities: a wardrobe, fridge, clothes dryer, kettle, and TV. Drinking water is provided in a special dispenser. The breakfasts aren't incredibly varied, but you certainly won't go hungry. In addition to main dishes (rice, fried noodles, bacon/sausages), there's always an omelet, pancakes, toast, fruit, decent coffee, and fantastic pastries, among other things. Bike rental is available, though the bikes are quite worn. The beach isn't top-tier, but it's perfectly acceptable. However, there are no changing rooms or public restrooms; all facilities belong to the hotels. Being in Sanur, you'll need to check the tide schedule. The sea is almost always calm, so it's not suitable for surfers. During low tide, the shore can be exposed for tens of meters, but generally, it's high tide during the day. You can rent a bike and cycle up and down the beach, especially northwards. Right next to the hotel, there's a small supermarket. The adjacent street has everything a hotel guest might need: currency exchange, souvenir shops, cafes and restaurants, massage parlors, tour agencies, etc. If that's not enough, head north past the roundabout for even more options. On the downside: there's no direct access to the sea; you have to walk around, which takes five to seven minutes. There are no toothbrushes or hairdryers. The electricity is very odd, and the outlets are inconveniently placed. The internet is frankly poor.

I stayed here for a diving trip. It's conveniently located near the beachfront restaurant area. There's also a pool, so it would be nice to relax and enjoy the resort atmosphere on-site. The building doesn't seem new, so you might find the number of power outlets a bit limited. My room on the first floor, facing the pool, had a terrace, which was very useful for drying my diving gear.

Sativa is a great choice. Rooms are great size, beds are comfortable. Has a good restaurant and a lovely pool. Very close to the beach and all the local shops. restaurants etc. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Great hotel, relaxing stay. I love how they were able to accommodate for me after I got off of an over night flight and arrived in the morning. It is a great location within walking distance to the grocery store, restaurants, the ATM machines, and traveling agents to book tours and adventure.

Everything about this place was superb! We got our room changed with no qualms to a fuller pool view, and they even sent some items my mum left, to our next hotel for us! We highly recommend this hotel and will 100% stay here again next time we visit Ubud!

We only stayed for one night, primarily because of its location near the harbor. Overall, everything was good: a nice pool, breakfast was decent, and the staff were friendly. The beach is about a 10-minute walk away, just across the road.

A little oasis in Sanur. Tropical vibes, not beachfront but a few minutes walk or bicycle ride from the beach. Bicycles can be rented in the hotel for the whole stay. Located next to one of the main streets, with shops, money exchange places, massage parlours and some restaurants, 5 minutes walk there's the main road with a lot of bars, restaurants, pharmacies, convenient shops, etc. Great pool, many sun chairs around, rooms around the pool area. We stayed in a ground floor room, had a patio with chairs, sofa, great to relax and have a swim once in a while. Clean room, not very big but comfortable. Huge bathtub. Buffet breakfast, good. Seating area near the pool, relaxing place. Very quiet at night, could hear frogs, and nature outside.

This was a great find on our Indonesia trip. It was hard to book hotels near Christmas Eve, but this hotel saved our lives, and it was great! Book it on time, and you will have an amazing time! The hotel had great service thanks to all the staff, great food, and many options for breakfast. We didn't try dinner or lunch, but the menu seems nice, and they had live music too at night. In general, all the amenities were great; they have a great gym and nice pool areas. The location is not great, but it is near a harbor. That said, near the harbor, you can find amazing restaurants, a great cafe, an amazing Muslim lamb local food place, and also other busy local restaurants that serve a fish local dish. They have great hotel taxi services, but Grab will also work fine. They also have a great spa; we had an amazing massage there. They have a service to the Beach everyday! That was great

Located in the quieter part of Sanur, which was what we wanted. Close to everything we needed. Staff were very pleasant. Breakfast was sufficient with staff cooking fresh pancakes and eggs to your liking.
