I went to the hotel to check in, but they don't have a reception area, so I went walking around looking for someone to help me. I called the hotel number but nobody answered. After ten or fifteen minutes, a lady showed up and told me to go to the back where I found someone. She showed me to my room. The hotel doesn't provide drinking water, nor shampoo, soap, sandals, and slippers. There was a hole in the roof of the bathroom, and the curtains don't cover the full area of the window, so one can not get full privacy. The showerhead was rusty. In the morning at 7:30 I checked out and I left the key in the door as there is no reception area. I was told that breakfast is served at 8:00 so I left. When I came back after 8 a.m., there was no breakfast, and I had to ask again. After breakfast, I left but told them that I would leave my bag there and pick it up later. They told me to leave it outside. When I came back I couldn't find my bag and I asked where it was, they said it was in the kitchen. I went to get it. A man there asked me where the key was. I said I left it in the door. They accused me of losing it and told me to pay 50000. I said I'm not paying. They said that the key was missing from the morning. I asked they why they didn't mention it before. The man told me to see that's it's not there. I said it's almost 1:30pm. It's ridiculous that you can't find the key now when I checked out at 7:30 am and expect me to pay for it.

The location is great, surrounded by a lot of shops and restaurants. The main attractions is only around the corner i.e., Ubud Palace, Pasar Ubud and etc. The only downside was the AC is not too cold, there’s no hot shower and the shower is not that good. Other than that, it was a good stay for a backpackers.

Excellent location but hard to find at first. It's at the end of an arts & crafts market @ Arjuna Lane. A stone's throw away from an Indonesian cafe, a Chinese dumplings eatery, mini Mart, Guardian pharmacy, money changer, Starbucks etc. Walking distance to Ubud Palace, Campuhan Ridge Walk, Saraswati Temple and shopping streets along Jalan Hanoman. Be sure to walk through Jalan Kajeng arts & crafts market. There's a gradual climb to another village and lo and behold, you'll see beautiful rice paddies in a natural environment (not the commercial one where you have to queue to pay IDR50k to take photos). Haha. The owners and staff were overloaded. Unable to attend to guests promptly. Overall, still value for money though. Safe and happy travelling ! dd :)

I came back to the hotel again) I liked the place. Cozy common areas where you can drink coffee and chat with other guests. It is also convenient that there is a mini-kitchen where you can make yourself tea/coffee, prepare a light breakfast and store your food in the refrigerator. The place is quiet, despite the fact that it is located in the very center. In the neighboring house there is a cafe where they cook very tasty local food at very reasonable prices. A couple of minutes' walk away there are other cafes, grocery stores, laundries and on both sides a craftsmen's market where you can buy local clothes and souvenirs. Very nice responsive hostess! They clean the room upon request. In general, I recommend!)

Great accommodation. Cute room with a terrace and nice seating. Breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared for each guest. Unfortunately the toilet was not fixed and wobbled when you sat on it. The sink was very small and not like in the pictures.

It looks decent in the photos, but in reality it is not. I do not recommend it, there are many disadvantages.

Title: Central location but disappointing amenities Review: If you are looking for a hotel with basic amenities like a pool, hot water or a safe, I recommend you keep looking. During my stay, the local attendants were barely visible - only twice in several days. The amenities left a lot to be desired: there was no soap, no working safe, and the 24/7 reception was practically non-existent. Additionally, the bathroom design was poor; every time I took a shower, the entire bathroom, including the toilet, got wet. Additionally, the toilet had a leak. Despite the very central location, which was quite convenient, the nightly barking of the dogs - I suspect they were the hotel's dogs - regularly disturbed my sleep. The bed was OK, but it couldn't make up for the other inconveniences. Overall, the stay was far below my expectations.
