Hotel di Candi Dasa, Bali

Nice hotel and nice pool but I was expecting a very nice spa. Alila is well known for it and this one was a bit disappointing. The massage was good but the place not that great, a random hotel room instead of a nice dedicated spa.. out of that all good. Maybe a bit noisy, the insulation is not very great window could be renovated

Honestly i was disappointed. When i came inside the room, the ac is problem. Then i call the receptionist he arrange for the engineer to fix. But then at night, the ac problem again. The floor was wet from the ac. So i call again the reception and the engineer come again. Need about 30 mins. Andnthe ac didnt works well. Hot. Not cold. I can't sleep well. I asked to change the room but they said can't. So bad. I paid the room for cant sleep well after drive 2 hours. For the view from pool is cool. But the service, bad.

One of the best experiences in Bali! I was surprised high quality service and hospitality. The area of hotel big and well-groomed, you can walk on ghe garden, rest in the laundry working hall, training in the gym or chill near the big pool. For this money it's amazing deal, 100000% recommend. Thanks to the crew hotel, always smile, helpful and positive vibe 🙏🙏🙏

This turned out to be an incredible stay, 10 days in a stunning location not least dwarfed by an enormous live volcano. The local community, many who work in the resort are lovely, friendly people who will do anything to make your stay as great as possible. Befriend them and they will tell you where to go, what to eat an what to see. We stayed in a luxury villa, totally secluded with; an infinity pool, double showers, double sinks, dressing gowns, free sarongs and fully air conditioned serviced twice a day, absolutely quiet amidst the palm trees. The food which was included was well presented and first class, just watch the 21% tax on food and drink outside the inclusions. You could stuff your face at breakfast with endless coffee and a wide variety of cereals. I loved the Candi Granola with dragon fruit puree and eggs any way you wanted. We explored the wide range of Indonesian dishes, some of which we'd never heard of, I think I got used to Gado Gado for starter every day. The area is clean and you can hire boats to take you on excursions, on a really calm day we grabbed an outrigger and we are still aghast at the size of Mt. Agung in the background. There is a large area to snorkel off the beach and a day's hire of gear is $11, I would have loved to try a long board on the waves that crash on to the reef but could find one to hire. I could go on but Candidasa was so quiet and serene, it is a long trip east from Denpasar taking up to two hours to reach but believe me, it is worth it. I have pleaded to the people to keep it this way as we would love to go back.

Неплохой отель, хороший бассейн, есть качели у пляжа, номер стандартый. В отеле ресторан с хорошими ценами, рядом есть небольшая деревня, но кафешки там специфические. Выход к морю есть, но купаться там возможности нет, сильные волны, пляжа естественно нет. Здание ресепшен на реставрации, шумные работы нам не мешали, было достаточно тихо. Нужно прокачать сервис в ресторане, так как девочки достаточно часто переспрашивали разные моменты, принесли не тот кофе (горячий вместо холодного, хотя спросили 2 раза), есть над чем поработать. В отеле есть фишки с выездом на вирджин бич, и на снорклинг (бесплатно).

Хороший спокойный отель.Вежливый и внимательный персонал.Пешая доступность до сувенирных магазинов и различных кафе.А бассейн с тёплой водой это просто 5+,особенно в вечернее время.Мы с друзьями остались довольны.

I have stayed here 8 years ago and that was the most amazing place I have stayed in my life. This time things changed, but it’s still a beautiful place. Very tranquil location, the garden is well maintained and looked after. Feels like you are in the middle of the jungle, so expect all kinds of animals all around.. the beds are very comfy and the rooms are clean. Some refurbishment would do wonders though.. It doesn’t seem like they did any work on the rooms in the last 8 years but the restaurant got renovated. So the price of the food got more expensive. We didn’t eat anything here this time as you can find cheaper and really tasty food around the town ( highly recommended Warung Budi Ayu- not just because of the food but the hospitality and kind talks ). Water garden is amazing if you want to experience something special.

We have just stayed in Alam Candi for a week and have had the most relaxing time. We made a last minute booking and could not get in to our regular hotel but have to say this may now become our regular! The venue is more traditional style villas, private and peaceful. The hotel is 200m off the (very busy ) Main Street on the beach front and perfectly placed to escape the hustle and bustle at the other end of the drive way. The staff are a delight and very eager to ensure you have everything you need without being intrusive. We were very happy with the menu, the food was delicious and beautifully presented. We also wandered out and had lovely meals at Rama Shinta and Aquaria. The Oceanside area was perfect for doing nothing, we watched the tide go in and out, the local fisher people with their daily activities and the choice of swimming in the pool or the ocean or just another To keep ourselves busy, we utilised the in house day spa which was just lovely and participated in a Balinese cooking class. The class was fun and informative and provided us with our dinner that night. Overall Alam Candi provides great value for money and we will be back. Thank you Alam Candi team for providing us with a restful week - back to the real world now

We had a lovely time staying at Santi Bungalows. A good location with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Beach was nice, but the sea was rough during our stay. The pool was great. Breakfast is amazing value and really good. Looking at some of the reviews we weren't expecting too much from the restaurant. But we were pleasantly surprised! We found the food good and reasonably priced. All of the staff were friendly and helpful, the car service is great value. We will definitely be back.

A delightful, tucked away beach hotel, loved almost everything about Hotel Genggong. Incredible ocean views from my second floor room, the gardens were immaculate and I thought there was excellent food at the restaurant. Staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful at booking tours and there was a great relaxed vibe sun lounging by the pool. Highly recommend the short walk to local temple overlooking the ocean too. It might pay to speak directly to fishermen on the beach in front of the hotel before booking a trip through the hotel to snorkelling spots, as we had conflicting advice about conditions. Overall, a great place to spend a few days in Candidasa.
