+ We loved our stay in Santika! The staff was very welcoming and friendly! Very nice that they have shuttles to the beach, wouldn’t book this hotel without it. - the twin beds are quite narrow, we had a room facing the road and it was a bit noisy, the walk to the beach is about 20 minutes Breakfast was okay. There were some western and Indonesian options.

Nice, quiet room. Helpful staffs, various tasty breakfast, not salty and not too spicy but tasty. They even have jamu. The pool is clean and nice. Room is clean, with plenty of bottle water, we have 4 each day. More than we expected.

After back from a 3 nights at ubud, I have booked this hotel in seminyak. The Kayana hotel is calling themselves « the little Ubud in Seminyak” and we can say that they are right. If you want a quiet stay, come here! The private villas are big and so peaceful with big swimming pool. I wanted to give them 5 stars for their service but I couldn’t because upon our arrival, we were not greeted by the 2 men staff there, I can say that I was quite disappointed after recieving such 5 stars service at the other hotel in Ubud. The hotel is very nice located with many restaurants and shops and things to do but the villas might need a little bit of renovation as I found some lock broken and some of the painting fall off at the shower side. They were kind enough to decorate our villa as I was there for my 10th year anniversary and gift us cake and even souvenir upon our departure.

The resort is really a village, in the mountains and forests next to the rice fields. The road to the resort is very steep, but they have golf carts for pick-up. Overall, it is a good place and suitable for staying for 2-3 nights. Unfortunately, we were in a hurry and only stayed for one night.
