Hotel berhampiran Carve Twenty Two, Bangkok

Spoiler alert - I've had significant problems with Marriott recently. We tried Best Western as much out of desperation as anything, using the BW status match to get Diamond Elite. Conclusion is one word - amazing! I've tried status matches before but they have rarely paid off. The Best Western offer and outcomes though are superb. We were matched immediately to the top tier and were offer a new promotion as soon as we joined. Took it and now have 10,000 points on a roll and just booked our next stay for the end of the month. Try it... it's a great offer! To the hotel... I used to stay on Soi 18 a decade o so ago and had forgotten this little corner of the Sukhumvit area. The world has changed drastically since then but Soi 20 has signs of life and so we were quite happy when we rolled up to the BW Plus @ 20. It is not a big property, there are (very) limited parking options and it doesn't have an onsite catering facility that is open. But... we were upgraded immediately to a suite and those rooms, for the price we paid, would be hard to beat in any property in central Bangkok. Large lounge with a desk; large bathroom - with a bath where I fell asleep one night it was that comfortable! - and double sinks... all the basics there and then the separate bedroom is large and well-appointed. It is not a new property and there were some maintenance issues that needed resolving like some plug sockets not working and no bath plug. But for goodness sake... we paid less than 1500 baht and would have paid three times that (and currently much more, what IS going on with Marriott in Bangkok?) for less facilities along Sukhumvit. The hotel doesn't have F&B but does get a 20% discount at The Deck next door and we had a very decent supper there the second night, good quality food and a broad menu. Compliments also to Kawin, who checked us in the first night and was doing Reception almost single-handedly. No fuss, no bother and very good service. Thank you Kawinm Best Western and we're booked to go back in a couple of weeks time, fingers crossed for that complimentary upgrade (again!). Final message to my friends at Marriott - Best Western are eating your lunch, guys.

I have to stay here for a business trip around Asok road. I called to hotel first to ask about parking lots. Staff were friendly talking and very helpful. They upgraded my room after I checked-in. The room was great with a bit thin wall so I can hear noise outside so clear. But it was not that bad. It was still a good place to stay.

Lobi hotel ini sangat mewah dan besar, dengan ciri-ciri biasa Marriott, dan perkhidmatan yang sangat, sangat baik Apabila kami kembali, walaupun baju tidur kami dilipat kemas seperti barang-barang untuk dijual perkhidmatan bilik. Kakitangan hotel sangat sopan dan mesra, terletak di belakang kawasan perniagaan EM, hanya beberapa ratus meter berjalan kaki, sangat mudah! Ia hanya dua perhentian dari pusat, tetapi ia masih sangat bagus. Terdapat ramai tetamu dari pasukan India di hotel. Ia terletak di lorong, dan terdapat banyak bar urut di kedua-dua sisi.

Ini adalah hotel di mana anda boleh pergi dari Stesen Ramkhamhaeng tanpa basah walaupun hujan. Terdapat kakitangan lain semasa daftar masuk, tetapi saya pergi ke sana dua kali dan hanya seorang yang berada di sana. Ia akan mengambil sedikit masa untuk mendaftar masuk. Deposit ialah 500 baht. Terdapat 3 lif jadi anda tidak perlu menunggu lama. Kunci bilik adalah kunci ortodoks. Untuk menutup, tekan butang pada pemegang dari dalam bilik. Tandas dan tab mandi adalah jenis yang sama. Anda boleh mendengar banyak bunyi di luar mungkin kerana pengudaraan. Tab mandinya kecil sedikit. Terdapat dua jalur kuasa berhampiran cermin. Ia bukan di sebelah katil. Terdapat dua botol plastik, tetapi tiada kopi segera dll. Anda mesti membawa anda sendiri. Oleh itu, saya kecewa apabila saya tinggal di sana buat kali pertama. Terdapat 7-Eleven di bawah stesen, jadi tidak mengapa. Jika anda menggunakan hotel ini sebagai pangkalan anda, anda boleh menggunakan BTS atau MRT dari ARL, atau anda boleh menaiki bas dari jalan di hadapan hotel, jadi jika anda tidak mempunyai kipas, anda boleh pergi ke Siam Amazing Park. untuk 8 baht. Anda juga boleh pergi ke pusat dalam arah yang bertentangan. Pengangkutan adalah mudah. Terdapat juga pasar malam kecil di bawah stesen. Saya tidak melihat orang asing, tetapi anda boleh makan pelbagai jenis makanan. Anda boleh membawa minuman anda sendiri dari 7-Eleven di sebelah. Saya membayar tambahan 140 baht untuk sarapan pagi. Saya fikir prestasi kos adalah tinggi.

Everything's is good and environment is clean and shower strong water

Hotel is in the prime location but as per the photos in the app while booking it was not like same. This is first time when a hotel charge for luggage handling when you checkout and go for 3 to 4 hours outside before taking the flight. Beds are making sound while you take a side also.

Kemudahannya sangat lama, jadi bersiaplah. Terdapat seekor burung di luar tingkap yang telah lama mati, hanya tinggal bulunya sahaja. Pengangkutan adalah mudah, dan anda boleh menaiki BTS terus di depan pintu. Sarapan pagi hampir tidak sedap dan kopi tidak dikisar baru. Saya ingin mendapatkan beg untuk meletakkan pakaian kotor, tetapi papan tanda mengatakan bahawa untuk perlindungan alam sekitar, mereka tidak menggunakan beg dobi plastik, tetapi menggunakan beg kain boleh guna semula. Jika anda perlu mengambilnya, sila bayar XX yuan. Saya terfikir sendiri bahawa saya mempunyai rasa perlindungan alam sekitar yang kuat, tetapi mengapa terdapat dua beg plastik di dalam tong sampah? Saya hampir meminta mereka mendapatkan beg sampah untuk digunakan.

Location is excellent! Located right next to BTS Phloen Chit Station and it is easy to get grab and somehow ”avoided” the terrible traffic in bangkok at times. However, the only downside is the lift servicing the hotel. It is extremely slow and one was faulty during my stay. And the noise of traffic can be heard from 12th floor. Light sleeper should probably take a slight note of that. Other than that I do not really have any complaints. Thank you!

Hotel is clean and a little bit away from the noisy Chinatown street. But is still very near to all the night streets along Chinatown street. There is a Starbucks at the hotel lobby and 7-eleven opposite the hotel. Highly recommend if you want a spacious hotel room with lots of food choices and night market around.
