Hotel Holiday Inn Express di Bangkok

The staff were friendly and helpful, which I really appreciated. However, I think it’s time for IHG to consider some renovations. The room felt a bit dated, and there was a noticeable odor coming from the toilet,possibly due to the piping. I also didn’t find the bed and blanket comfortable; they felt oddly cool and uninviting. Additionally, the towels developed an unpleasant smell after just one use. Overall, while the service was good, the facilities could definitely use some upgrading.

Certainly a good Holiday Inn hotel, given its lowest price among all Holiday Inns in Bangkok. The breakfast is quite impressive, with a lot of options including even Indian curries. One shortcoming is that it’s quite far away from public transit stops …

Rooms: Standard-size room with complete bathroom amenities. The bed was comfortable, and the pillows were good, with both soft and firm options available. However, the walls were quite thin, so noise from the neighboring room was clearly audible. The next morning, I requested to change rooms. The staff accommodated the request, and the new room was quieter but had a musty smell (possibly from the drainage). 😓 After staying one night, the smell remained the next day, so I requested another room change. The second time, the staff member who assisted me was polite, friendly, and attentive—unlike the first encounter. Food: Standard. Location: Chosen for its proximity to the BTS and the pier. Parking: Good parking area with security guards on duty at all times.

Stayed at Holiday Inn Express Sathorn recently — overall a pleasant experience. The location is convenient, and the hotel is relatively clean and comfortable. The staff were super friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Only thing to note: the shower floor can be quite slippery, so just be careful when using it.

Pretty decent for short stay. Room size is good for 2 person, and the bed is comfortable. If you are looking for a nightlife, this is a good location. Only concern is the headlight near the bed. It was placed on top of the head, which might hurt you if you are not careful.
