Ulasan New Siam Riverside

Very nicely located in the old town area with a riverside frontage. Having dinner overlooking the river and the movement of boats and barges is quite lovely. My room (3425) had cooling but with no controls in the room so I could not switch off when feeling chilly and draughty without removing the power fob which also switched off all the lights. Rather strange situation really! Good value hotel I feel.

We booked 2 rooms at this hotel. Our first night in the hotel we noticed a moldy musky smell but figured it was just the humidity. But when laying on the beds, we realized the beds smelled disgusting like urine and mold. I asked the front desk to give me clean sheets to change but as I was changing them, realized what the bad smell came from. The mattresses were covered in wet mold and full of bugs, I will upload the photos with this review. That night they offered that we change rooms. The next morning I showed the staff the mattresses and they told me the rooms were just old and there’s nothing they could do to compensate me. I got extremely sick after breathing in that mold for 3 nights. Avoid this hotel

The TRIP site promised "river view" (which is an own category in this hotel), but neither the voucher said so, nor was this honored by the hotel. Extremely disappointing, and already the second time with this hotel; the former time was on another platform.

Conveniently located on the river with a small pool. Adequate breakfast and very friendly and efficient staff. Rooms at the back are next to a busy road so bring earplugs if you want to book the cheaper rooms.

Great location, on river close to boat stop, 5 min walk to Khaosan road. Breakfast good, outside by river. Didn’t use pool but looked inviting. Bed comfortable, ac was adequate. Everything worked well. Good for price.

Neglected and dirty, restless. The employees try very hard and are very kind.

This is the great hotel! I love this place pretty much. Staff was friedly and helpful with all kind of issues. Breakfast was nice including wrstern and thai dishes. Location of the hotel itself is great,just right in front of Kaosan road corner. Our room sound isolation was very good ,there was no noise of any kind to disturb us. We had a goid rest over every night. Restaurant was clean, dishes are nit expensive and very tasty. The terrace in front of the river is specially beautiful and it was so romantic to have a dinner there with my wife. We will come back to the Bangkok very soon and we will definitely stay in this hotel once again.

Loved staying here - we booked another night for our return trip through Bangkok and will stay again in future. Great little home for our transit through Bangkok.

Close to chabad house ..

Good location just near Chao praya River at night you can see the cruise passing .the breakfast really enjoy Thai food for buffet line with everyonelove .definitely be back.
