This boutique hotel presents an amazing surprise in the depths of the Miao Village. The rooms are equipped with state-of-the-art Smart Home systems. For example, one could control the curtains and lighting with verbal commands—in mandarin. There was a slide and ball pit in our room, which was a bonus. The bathtub is one of the largest offerings we have encountered and come with a herbal bath services that is included with the booking fee. Whilst the hotel doesn’t have round-the-clock room service, one could ask the front desk for help with food orders by means of a local food delivery app. Our McDonalds order arrived within half an hour. The hotel provides Miao traditional clothes for guests to wear and take photos, free of charge. Last but not least, the hotel rooms provide a beautiful and unblocked view of the Miao village and the mountainous terrain. The hotel crew that we met were extremely helpful, and would help provide additional lighting for night photo shoots, carry your bags, and also bring food to your room. Xiao Ning, Xiao Hai and Xiao Kai were really wonderful hotel staff who went the extra mile to make our stay most comfortable and memorable. Thank you for this wonderful experience.

Our time in Long Tang was the highlight of our trip to China. The property is beautiful, with great attention to detail, stunning views and amazing food. We were lucky enough to be there during a Miao festival event, which made our stay even more special. We will never forget the friendly and welcoming people of Longtang. Thank you!

I’m very impressed with the service from all the staff . All of the staff are very helpful friendly n customer orientated the owner had really trained their staff well. I had 3 elderly travelling with me and I fretted for not packing lighter bags as I figured from reviews there were many steps to the hotel. However when I communicate with the hotel , they kindly had 2 young butler to meet us at the ticket booth at the scenic entrance. They assisted with the ticket purchase ,recommended places to eat n helped me booked the ticket to watch the cultural show . They helped us carry our luggage’s to the bus and also carried to the hotel. I am so glad. The hotel maybe a little taxing for elderly as steps are quite many , but I assure the view is one of the best n the rooms we booked were very nicely decorated n really comfortable. Highly recommended

We are travelers who don’t speak Chinese, and the staff at Xijiang Sanchun Liji Garden Meisu went above and beyond to help us from start to finish. Before check-in, we got lost trying to find the right bus, and the staff patiently guided us step by step on WeChat. They even sent their housekeeper to find us once we arrived in the village. The hotel itself is beautiful...clean, cozy, and has a good view. Our room was spotless and comfortable, and the atmosphere felt welcoming. The staff treated us well, bringing us snacks, bottled water and tea, and even coupons for handcrafted cocktails and a gift of tea. They also helped us when it was time to leave, making sure we found our way back out of the village easily. Everyone was friendly, caring, and easy to communicate with on WeChat. The location was nice - by the bus stop and close to everything in the village. We 100% recommend this hotel to anyone visiting. We would definitely stay here again. The staff was very helpful in picking us up at the entrance of the village and they were accommodating in bringing our heavy luggges up the multiple flight of stairs so I feel sorry about this review, but communication could be improved, we felt a bit lost at the beginning. Unfortunately the same feeling persisted during the stay, the initial communication wasn’t good we had to ask everything: from Wi-Fi password, to where breakfast would be (in a different structure we found by exploring) - we had to initiate the “wechat process” to receive all the info. The room has a magnificent view, but the structure is not ready for winter, and neither seems the staff. Although, the heating system was very powerful there were some cracks in the walls and that made parts of the room quite cold. So I recommend this hotel for warmer seasons maybe, but professional communication, regardless of the language spoken, was a barrier. All this gave us the impression the hotel was understaffed or momentarily run by temporary staff, also because the reception was always empty.

Xijiang is undergoing major construction phase. Access from the viewing deck to the hotel is a tiny horrendous narrow steep dirt alley with physical encounter with ponies used for hauling building materials. A new hotel is under construction right next door and screeching of drills and banging of hammer started promptly at 7am. White painted room decorated by light colour elegant furniture provide a lively zen ambiance. Uneven surfaces at the entrance, breakfast bench and parts of the room resulted in a few trips and stumble. Modern and top grade amenities, toilet suites and voice activated commands took a little use to but very convenient. Breakfast was a choice between boiled rice noodle or spaghetti with a heart shaped froed egg in the bowl and another hard boiled on the serving tray. Tit bits and free beer prepaed for afternoon tea was extended to mid night cap. Appreciated most of all were the free porterage of our luggage through the steep alleys of the famous hillsides to and from our room.

Getting from the scenic area parking lot into any hotels in Qianhu Miao village can be very challenging. You would need to walk over 600 meters with luggage, queue for a local shuttle, and then walk or climb stairs again to reach whatever hotel you book. As a solo traveler with my young daughter and two suitcases, this initially felt overwhelming when thinking about this idea . I’m truely glad that I chose to stay with this hotel. Before we arrived, the staff proactively contacted me via WeChat and sent someone to meet us at the ticket checkpoint outside of the village to help with our luggage, and guide us onto the shuttle. This thoughtful assistance made a huge difference. The hotel’s location was perfect, right next to the viewing platform. After getting off the electric shuttle, it took only one minute walk to reach the lobby. The views from the lobby, rooftop, and room are absolutely stunning. We didn’t need to visit crowded public viewpoints — enjoying the sparkling night view of the Miao village from our room was more than enough. The Breakfast was generous and delicious, with surprisingly good coffee. A very good sour fish soup restaurant is located nearby. Every single staff member we encountered was warm, friendly, and genuinely caring. They patiently taught my daughter the Miao ethnic batik indigo dye — she loved it so much that she couldn’t stop. On the fifth floor, the hotel also offers a variety of ethnic costumes for photo shoots. Even after checkout, they still helped carry our luggage all the way to the parking lot, which was truly appreciated. Although our stay was short, we could truly feel the care, attention to detail, and kindness from everyone at the hotel. Staying here felt more like being at home than at a hotel. We will definitely come back again and stay for longer. Strongly recommended!

民宿位置很好，看得到苗寨整體，而且有很多適合出片的地方（包括房間和公共區域），離商業區也很近，步行大約五分鐘就有旅拍及餐飲，離觀光車乘車點也很近，去1號風雨橋等地方都很方便，最最主要的是，民宿服務很貼心，會在大巴車第一個站點接送客人，還會給出行攻略等等，另外會有新鮮果切、免費飲料和咖啡，真的很方便！特別是早餐，品類很豐富，個人覺得非常好吃。晚上民宿有個酒吧，會有篝火，有露天電影，我不太會喝酒，所以酒就不評價了，但是很好看哈哈哈～總而言之住的很滿意✅

I'd like to share my impressions of my stay at this hotel. Firstly, the hotel is very new and designer inside. The view of the village is, I'd say, the best in the area. First things first: the hotel offers a butler service, and when you arrive at the attraction, a butler will meet you and take your luggage. You don't have to bother walking to the bus, which is quite a distance, and the entire scenic area is on a mountain, requiring constant climbing. The hotel is also located on a hillside, so getting to it requires a climb up narrow steps. The butler carried my luggage and accompanied me the entire time. The walk from the entrance to the hotel took about 25 minutes, including the bus and the walk. Upon arrival at the hotel, I was greeted at reception and offered afternoon tea; there were five drinks on the menu. I chose a milk oolong tea with milk, and they offered me fruit, nuts, and homemade cookies. It was delicious. I spent the entire time relaxing, drinking tea, and enjoying the village views. After I'd rested, I went to my room. I was given a room on the 4th floor with the lucky number 888. The room has absolutely everything: excellent Loccitan cosmetics, toiletries, robes, and slippers—everything is of very good quality. There's also a modern hairdryer and steam iron. There was a bath on the balcony, but I didn't use it because it was chilly. The room is really new; it has underfloor heating if you get cold, and also air conditioning. The bed linen, pillows, and blanket were wonderful. I didn't even notice how my night passed; I truly rested for the two nights I stayed at this hotel. The hotel staff explained how I could spend my time and took me to a restaurant where I could have a delicious meal. Then I went for a walk. I spent the entire evening strolling around the village and taking in the sights. That evening, when I returned, I was offered evening soup, which I really enjoyed; it was very unusual. Since I was a foreign tourist, the hotel staff communicated with me using a translator via WeChat, which was very convenient and prevented any misunderstandings. The next morning, I was offered breakfast, which was served on the first floor of the hotel. The dining room was also very beautiful and well-renovated. After breakfast, I went for a walk around the village to take beautiful photos. I had a wonderful time in the village, taking in the sights. I especially enjoyed the local people's show on New Year's Eve, as well as the singing of the women and men of the Miao people. The day before my departure, the hotel staff asked what time my return tickets to Guiyang would be and told me they would arrange for me to be transported to the entrance so I could call a taxi. I would give this hotel the highest rating, firstly because it's in a wonderful location on a mountain with a magnificent view, and literally a three-minute walk from the main observation deck. I would also give the highest rating to the hotel personnel, and especially to the butler his wechat name Velpro, they are all tried their best to help me and accompanied me on all my questions. I would also give the highest rating to the hotel owners, who care about the interior order, cleanliness, and the care of their guests. This level of hospitality is truly rare. If I return to this village, I will definitely stay at this hotel. I recommend it to everyone.

Great Location, Cozy Stay The guesthouse is well-located—away from the main tourist spots yet within walking distance, offering a quiet and cozy atmosphere. The overall experience was satisfactory, though the maintenance could be improved. A good choice for those seeking a peaceful stay near the village.
