Hotel Penrith dengan Bar

This is a really good quality hotel, excellent staff. We were given a free upgrade to an Apartment. Excellent breakfast.

Love the location, the views from the hotel & dining room. The restaurant was good, young inexperienced staff that very very nice but a little clumsy. Checkin receptionist was very curt, but check out person the following day was lovely. All in all, loved staying here again. Beautifully peaceful

The room was freezing! The heating only came on for a couple of hours. The room was ok comfy bedding, not worth £175 though. The shower made a squealing noise and the bath tap dripped all night. Breakfast alright (beans were cold). The staff at the bar and restaurant were commendable.

Amongst the lakes, I thought Ullswater is the nicest in terms of view and serenity. Macdonald Leeming House has a peek view of the lake, together with a big grass patch. I opted to upgrade to a lake view room as the other side faces some shrubs, I was told. Room size wise is decent. For the price, I expected a bit more amenities like shower cap and slippers. The hotel was not receptive as there were no replies to my queries sent to the email listed on their website and through trip.com. When I clarified, the reception said the address I sent to were invalid? I did not like the food at the Regency Restaurant. Options were limited and my ham steak was over salty.

Lovely little pub and smashing rooms.
